I purchased a protein powder for my son who was getting his wisdom teeth removed. The powder container was previously opened. The paper seal and the top of the container had burned marks on it. I needed to get some kind of shake into my son because he just arrived home from the surgery, so I quickly purchased another shake powder at a local grocery store. When I went to the store for a refund, the clerk refused to refund my money. He also refused to give me the name and number of the manager so that I could talk to them. I left my name and number with the store clerk but at the time of this writing, I still have not heard from the manager. I can't believe they would sell me a previously opened container of protein powder. For all I know, it could have fentanyl in it. read more

Terrible customer service, lack of knowledge and no ownership of fixing a wrong that they created, I'll explain.. A few weeks ago I went to this business to purchase a pre workout. I talked to the store employee and specifically stated I did not want a pre workout that made my skin tingle because I hate the feeling. The employee picked out the pre-work out for me so I trusted that he knew the product. I tried the product and from the very first time of me using it, it made my skin tingle. I decided to give it an honest effort with the hopes that my body would adjust so I wouldn't have to return it, but unfortunately it did not. I went back to the store today to return it and was told that I was outside their "return policy". WTF?!? A) First of all, it was their employee that sold me the wrong product. B) I actually tried to make it work so I wouldn't have to return it.. C) I only had it for three weeks. Seriously?!? I walked out of the store and left the product on the counter because it's not usable for me. Thats 50 bucks I wasted. Good job total nutrition you lost a repeat customer. Keep it up and you'll probably lose your business too. I have been to Nutrition Shop several times and they are amazing! Very knowledgeable, very friendly, very helpful. Took their time and patience with me and explaining stuff with a smile on their face. The store has tons of products , fully stocked, with people coming in and out . I will never go back to Total Nutrition again or suggest anybody to go to that store. read more

Kiefer is so helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to exercise nutrition. He took the time to look up what we're currently using and told us what was a good product and what ones could be improved...and why! I loved that we compared ingredients and really discussed what to look for. Each time I have been in there has not been any high-pressured sales pitch for what I "must have" but more of a discussion about what we're doing and what we hope to accomplish. I've been to this shop multiple time because they are one of the only places that sells a particular brand I use. Every time I've come in I end up paying different amounts. They don't price tag any supplements then offer me "discounts". Last time I went in I was offered %30 off of the brand I like and once I was rung up I was still pay more than msrp on the brands website. I'll unfortunately continue buy my product there but I always have to make sure they match msrp for what I'm buying and when they say "discount" i know I'm not getting any deal. Don't buy anything if you're not sure you love it because they won't give you a full refund, not even if you planned to exchange it and purchase a more expensive product & literally just bought something the day before. Plus you'll have to wait 30 minutes while they're try to complete the return because their computer system doesn't allow it. Take your business elsewhere. read more

This place is awesome for two reasons. First, huge gluten-free protein and supplements selection, which is great for those of use on the Paleo or gluten-free diets! Second, the GM gave me and my husband and my friend good-looking free shirts. For free. Not even those typical oversized give-away T-shirts that places usually try to get you to wear. I love mine. Hours on yelp, website, and door of business state they are open on Monday-Thursday from 10am-8pm. It's 714pm and there are no lights on. Clearly not open till 8pm. Very frustrating. Had several years of great experiences with my favorite supplement location. I sent many people over to total nutrition. Including Mom. So mom went for awhile, she developed health issues in her years. She took her just newly acquired supplement to one of her doctor visits and the doc advised her to not take supplement that conflict with her meds. Long story short, only 75% on the return of supplements unused. Now it's time to go to new place that has a more understanding policy towards unique returns.
