Reached out to Clark on Facebook about some used/refurbished chairs and he got back to me same day. He told me to call and make a time to come check out his stock. I was in a rush and Clark was willing to meet me within the hour at the end of the business day even to let me tour the warehouse and try out all the chairs I wanted. His warehouse is located just 25-30 minutes west of Charlotte in Gastonia and it's worth the drive. While there I got to test a variety of office chairs including some I was unaware of and Clark expertly knew his inventory and the ins and outs of what had been refurbished, how the chairs work and whar features they offered for the full range of his models from low end to high end. Within 30 minutes I had picked out two fantasticly refurbished models that looked like new (see my photos) and Clark even loaded them into the car for me. Top notch service! Final note, the entrance to the warehouse can be easy to miss driving by but Clark's a nice guy so don't be afraid to give him a call if you have any trouble finding it. Once I did, I set up an appointment at the location and checked it out. If you're looking for reasonably priced, good quality used office chairs, this place should absolutely be on your list. Clark had a lot to say about every particular chair we looked at and was willing to work with me on the price. Once I locked in on a chair, he was also kind enough to give the chair a good steam clean. The first Steelcase Leap I bought from him ended up having a faulty seat height lever, but there were no issues in setting up another appointment and getting an exchange for a fully functional leap. Made an appointment to look at used office chairs at Total Office 360. Since my drive was 1 1/2 hrs. one way, I wanted to make sure someone would be there. The owner, Clark, gave me directions and a time/day so I headed to Gastonia. Located in an old mill building, the warehouse is a bit hard to find, but thank goodness for smart phones. It knew! Clark showed me a number of chairs: I was looking mainly for Steelcase or Herman Miller, so he guided me around, explained features. The prices can't be beat, and I felt like I got a good deal for the Steelcase Think chair I ended up with. Clark loaded it up, after we worked on getting a PayPal payment via phones to him--he was extra patient with a low-tech customer!
