I arrived around 3:30, knowing they close at 5:00. However, by 4:35, the employees were practically shoving customers out the door. Each employee told us a different amount of time left before closing despite still having plenty of time to spare before 5:00. At 4:40, the lights in the second building were being shut off, and by 4:50, the open sign was off. This may be a controversial opinion, but I feel that if your sign says you're open until 5:00, you should be fully operational until that time. I was extremely disappointed with the staff today, and it was a very odd and uncomfortable experience.

Very disappointed with the customer service at Main Street Antiques. I found a little girls…read moresmocked dress and matching outfit for boy but they would not sell the dress since it had no price. I was there 1.5 hr and no price so I was promised a call once they got the price and I was going to have someone pick it up for me. Waited 2 days and was told I would get a call back. No call, called back. Again no call back, then finally today I am told it was probably put back up and maybe the message about calling me was lost. Said I could come look for it again and they would price match, yeah and why did they not do this the first time. I told them the price range from the beginning, but refused to sell it. This was very important for my grandchildren's photoshoot. Now I am stuck trying to find matching outfits again at the last minute. This was very very inconsiderate service.

I went looking for some Christmas decorations and found a little of everything! The store is just beautiful. It's a farm sitting on a gorgeous piece of land on the edge of West Lincoln. When I parked I got out and just looked around for a bit, enjoying the scenery. The store has an outdoor area (the porches) filled with decor and two separate buildings. There is so much stuff, and yet it is all artfully arranged. I really wanted to be there and just take my time and look. I found lots of rustic Christmas items, a room spray that smells like a Christmas tree and a stash of old spice containers, some even from the early 1900's. The prices seemed very reasonable to me and I was surprised at how busy it was given its rather remote location. The staff was so helpful and even helped me find out a date on one spice bottle. If you are looking for a unique gift or some rustic decor, this place is really an awesome shop. I can't wait to go back!

Prices were extremely high across the board, and a lot of booths had items that looked like they were straight from Amazon, Shein, or Temu but marked up significantly. That alone was frustrating, especially for a place marketed as an antique destination. The staff we encountered were also not friendly, which didn't help the experience. On top of that, there was a live band playing somewhere on the property, and the sound carried throughout the entire building. It was loud enough that everyone in our group ended up with a headache, which made it really hard to enjoy browsing. We ended up leaving early, which says a lot considering I had planned to spend the whole day there. Overall, not what I expected, and I wouldn't return.
