They are horrible and do not care about patients!! Be warned!! I have called for follow up care 7 times with no response.

First visit with Dr Cummings he suggested surgery as 1st option even though a pinched nerve in neck is causing the pain to radiate to hand. He sent me to do nerve test and one occupational therapy session. Second visit: obvious that Dr Cummings' priority is to make money. The nerve report says I have mild carpel tunnel but Dr Cummings flat out told me I was making "the wrong choice" when I refused surgery. He then said it's my body and I'm the one who has to live with my decision then initialed something and walked out of the room. Dr Cummings should improve his bedside manners and not make patients feel like idiots when they choose to not go the extreme route for something that's described as "mild." This practice is a rip off. When I went to my first visit appointment I clearly stated on the paperwork that I had an attorney the spanish lady at the front desk reviewed my paperwork with me and even confirmed my attorney information after paying my copay of $50.00 they take me to the back for the dr to tell me he doesn't like lawyers and the practice doesn't see patients with attorneys and refused to treat me.. on top of all this he refused to give me a refund for my copay and illegally put on the form it was a second opinion when I never had a first opinion . They made me wait for an hour after I got to my appointment on time just to give me the paperwork. Then another 30 mknutes to get to see a doctor. Complete lack of respect. Be careful, they make you pay before you see the doctor so you're trapped if you're not happy with the service. Look elsewhere. read more

Don't bother with this place. I've been to three appointments and they're always hours behind. Doctors are definitely past their prime and really are just concerned with billing your insurance the most for the least amount of effort possible. I gave them the benefit of the doubt twice, but I am currently sitting in the waiting room nearly two hours after my scheduled appointment. read more

Similiar to another review here on this office, they were helpful but there are a few issues you need to know... My appt was early morning. I arrived a few minutes early because to fill out paperwork, in throbbing pain xD The only reason i decided to come here it was because my dr recommended me to this offfice. Anyway, as i came in, i noticed a 80% filled room. So i got in my head that there might be a wait...1 hr later...even though i had an appt, i went in for an x-ray...then another wait...almost 15 minutes. Finally i get assigned a door to go into. A nurse comes in (very polite) and asks some basic questions, then she tells me to wait a few minutes for the dr to see me. So now...the dr comes in. So far everything has been taking a decent amount of time. But when this dr comes in, he acts like a hurricain. Very fast...methodical, but i felt like he was being timed. There was a good amount of people waiting outside but come'on?? Im in pain for a few days...i cant walk and i feel that im slowing him down just because of my own questions. He even takes a call in front of me, talking about a patientt. Awkward moment. So finally i get some medication prescribed to me, get a splint and off i go. Overall: -More than a 1 hr wait for my appt, even though i got there a few minutes before. -The staff are asking questions to patients, out in the open, in the front of the office -Hygene look around the office....8 out of 10...ten being the best. -waiting room is always packed -speedy physician, felt like he didnt wanted to be asked questions Im getting the help that i need...but it looks like what generalized medical care is. And its wierd because im covered by my insurance, i have been to urgent care facilities and the experiences there were not as meat market feeling. Not a bad, or good experience. If you have no other choice, then i guess its OK. i hope this helps people read more

This place is ridiculous, 2 hours for a follow up with my 2 year old, sat next to someone who was scheduled at the same time as I with the same doctor...stay away from this horribly run place, if you have drive far to go somewhere else, believe me, its worth going somewhere else....what a joke...rating should b a negative... read more

I will never go back to this place again. I have never waited so long for a doctor in my life. I arrived for and early appointment around 9:30 I was told one of the doctors here is the best. The waiting room was awkwardly packed for this early hour. I was told to have a seat after they took my information and money. Around an hour later I was called and thrilled to finally go in. When I got inside I was greeted by a tech informing me that she was only taking xrays and I would have to go back to wait. I sat back in that awkward and cramped waiting room for another hour and a half before being called. The doctor saw me for less than five minutes and told me to come back in a few weeks. I was laughing to death in my head. I would never waste my time here again. Maybe they shouldn't overbook patients if they know the doctor take his time. I didn't end up leaving till around 12:15. Also, I found the staff to be quite rude. For example the front desk nurse was asking me private health questions out loud. I don't really care what people here but a little professionalism would be nice. The only reason it doesn't get one star is because the doctor did diagnose my problem. In summary- ridiculously long wait times, rude staff, awkward waiting room, unhappy yelper. read more

If it was possible to give negative rating I would. This doctor office is completely disorganized. Appt. are made but our wait was still three hours. The staff just blamed this to the fact that we are new patients. Next, extremely unprofessional staff and doctor, staff speaks about problems in the office in front of patients, gives patients attitudes and are extremely disorganized. I saw all this during my 3 hour wait. Then when I decided to leave, the doctor has the audacity to tell us "Don't leave, you've already waited 3 hours, what is another 20 mins" with no apology. Worst place ever brought my sister in for a 1:40 appointment we didn't get in till 5pm because the doctor was running behind. I understand it happens but this was outrageous. She had a prescription for knocked knees the doctor was rude and it only took him 4 mins literary to say nothing was wrong he didn't even tell her to walk so he can see her knees, horrible!! . If you have hours to waste, then come here! I mean, the staff is always pleasant and the drs' are all professional, but man, the wait is horrible. You can literally waste an entire afternoon here. So, bring magazines, a tablet, whatever keeps you entertained. The xray tech is always very sweet and eager to help. I do like coming here for aches and pains. They are very professional and good at diagnosing. If you ever need physical therapy, the staff is amazing! I had plantar fascitis, and this office really made a difference in my life. I was in complete pain and despair, and they really helped. Between all of the physical therapy i had on my feet, i was able to finally walk on both feet again. read more

Reception staff is rude and unprofessional- were angry that I questioned having a copay and were even more rude after realizing I was right in not having to pay. The wait time to see a doctor is ridiculously long- hours long- and the waiting room features obnoxious and inappropriate for children television programming. PT staff is good, doctor was lovely- but overall experience is consistently terrible. read more

First time in our life, we walked out of a Doctor's office. Read the story...... I agree with other posters. My wife's follow up appointment was at Noon at Pembroke pines. We went their on time. Front desk took only took couple of mins. Waiting room was filled with people (20-25). No place to sit. It was literally a musical chair game going on. After an hour, my wife was called for x-ray. After x-ray, we waited for another 1 1/2 hr until 2:30 and still she was not called in. At that time, we ended up walking out without seeing the doctor expressing displeasure over the way they handle appointments and waste everyone's time. Just paid $10 for the x-rays on top of co-pay. Front desk lady at least apologized as we walked out. We will never go back again here or recommend anyone. So many patients with injuries come to see the doctor. It is inhuman and unfair to put everyone in uncomfortable position by making them wait for so long. If by chance TOC management reads this, a kind advice is to revisit your broken process and see how you can make doctor see than patient within an hour. Some small process changes to minimize such bottleneck can go a long way helping needy patients. read more

To say the staff of this office are superfluous, disorganized and inept would be a compliment. 3 months into going to their office for a 3rd follow up they call to confirm my appointment as it is standard. Later in the day they call that they can't find my referral from my first visit not to mention the lady that called was extremely rude and entitled. The pcp office can't seem to send them the referral and now I can't even cancel the appointment since they're closed. DO NOT GO THERE! The doctor was rude and insulting to my son. He made nasty remarks about athletes and really made my teenager and me feel disrespected. He seemed to think he was God and had all the answers, not about the injury but about what my son should be doing with his life. He made this kid feel even worse than he did when he walked into the office with an injury. He actually sent him away without treating him!! I have never met a doctor who was this rude. Making an appointment was a breeze, and I even received confirmation emails, new patient registration forms to fill out ahead of time to make the process supposedly smoother. When I arrived, the waiting room was full. The front desk people were nice enough, but after waiting over an hour I got up, asked for my copay back, and left. They clearly overbook patients and this gives it more of a free clinic vibe than respected doctor's office. I can understand that a first time visit can take longer, but this was beyond unreasonable. I would give it a negative if I could!!! Took my 12 year old daughter for a dance related ankle injury. He spent more time telling her how she is wasting her life dancing than actually doing his job! He told my daughter that she better start getting straight A's in school (not knowing that she already gets As and Bs) and stop focusing on dance so much. He went on to tell her that he knows dancers who attended Juilliard and are now on welfare. Also, that women don't normally make it as professional dancers. He then went on to tell me that I had to pay for her "boot" and MRI bc I have "CRAPPY" insurance and made me pay out of pocket. I found that odd and when I called my insurance company to find out if that is true, they confirmed that they do in fact cover all cost. They informed me that some drs up the price and make patients pay for it themselves bc they make more money that way. I spoke to the CEO and I received a refund. The rest of the staff was very nice, but made excuses on the drs behavior. I did get a refund!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! They make you wait forever to be seen and then you will just be judged!! Not to mention, misdiagnosed!! Dr. Sheikh wanted to cast her for 3 months for a sprain!! After 3 other opinions, they all confirmed that he was way out of line and that the healing process will be no more than 4 weeks!! In my 12 year old daughters words... "He just didn't want her to dance bc apparently he hates them!" DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! You'll never get those 3 hours back!! read more

Avoid this place if at all possible! As I entered the doctor's office in Pembroke Pines, I observed the front door was broken and wouldn't close all the way. The small waiting room was jam packed with as many chairs as you could possibly fit. Almost every seat was taken. The wall were covered in drywall, unpainted, a tarp covered and apparently unwanted doorway. The floors were filthy. I signed in 20 minutes early for my 10 o'clock appointment, 2 hours later, I was still waiting to see the doctor. The herd of smokers outside the broken door filled the waiting room with the stench of their cigarettes. As I contemplated leaving the office, I finally got the opportunity to see the physician. I explained to him my disappointment with the unreasonable wait times. Obviously annoyed, he went into a tirade about Obamacare and why new insurance requirements have slowed down the process. I told him my primary care physician doesn't seem to have problems maintaining his appointments. He continued his tirade and I suggested that we discuss my injury. He explained that I should no longer lift any weights over 20 pounds. I told him that was ridiculous and that we should seek an alternate solution. He again got upset that I questioned his diagnosis. He went on another tirade about how I'm damaging my body by weight training and working out, I pointed out that he was clearly overweight and would probably benefit from some extra exercise. He explained there was a procedure to correct my injury but that he refused to perform it just so I could continue to exercise. I told him that based on the condition of his office I wouldn't let him operate on me anyway. At this point he asked me to leave his office. I think this guy just makes a living off of workers compensation and disability injuries, he clearly has no respect for his patients or wants to actually be of any assistance whatsoever. If you want everything to go wrong before your appointment or anything else for that matter come to this place. 1) I scheduled my appointment one month in advance due to my fractured fibula and I asked before I left If a referral was needed. They specifically said that I did not need one. When I went for my appointment at 8am they did not have a referral for me therefore I was not able to get anything done until the person from my Primary Physician's office came in that morning at 11am to fax over to them a referral. Apart from that the staff at the office is very rude and they do not care about your well being whatsoever. 2) My cast finally came off so I obviously needed Physical Therapy. They gave me a physical therapy request form which was filled out completely wrong since it stated that I needed therapy for my knee. NEVER did I have a problem with my knee. I called early in the morning at 8am to explain to them my issue of which they made a mistake. I had my Physical Therapy scheduled for 1pm. The lady whom I spoke with told me they'd have the problem fixed before 1pm since I explained that was the time of my appointment. She obviously forgot because i called at 11:45am and she did not know what I was speaking about. At around 12:30 she was finally able to get to my situation and she had me on hold until about 12:50pm which was when the medical assistant was able to fix my issue. She asked for my fax number and I never received it which became another hassle since she had written down a completely different fax number. They have a very disgusting attitude and way of treating patients. read more
