This time I made an appointment online because I had been achy, congested, and running a fever for 2 days.  I had to wait in the waiting area almost 45 minutes before I was called; and more people kept coming in. I feel like their online appointment app shouldn't schedule appointments when they are really busy. The waiting room was quite cold and I found the chairs uncomfortable....probably because I was achy. Once I was called the staff was very kind and helpful.  They took my vitals, ran a few tests and called in some prescriptions for me. The process was fast once I was called back. I actually started feeling better by evening. I will definitely continue to choose this UrgentMed location. The waiting room can be long; but probably much faster and less expensive than visiting the ER! read more

A decent little urgentmed in plantation. The staff here is usually, for the most part, friendly and quick. There are a few times that they are WAY behind when it comes to appointments that it makes me wonder what the point of making one is. I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment because they only had 2 people working at the time. They were apologetic but I was never told there would be a bit of a backup because of this. The location is easy to find and the parking lot has a nice amount of spaces for everyone that needs to come here. The lobby is always clean and there is more than eniugh seating as well. One of their main entrance doors is stuck so there is only one door to come in and out. The rooms are clean but very small so I feel like I'm ontop of everyone when there is more than two people in the room at a time. Well to start off with the ladies I spoke with on the phone I know we're very busy but seemed very nice if I could give five stars I would love to! I'm sure it's a great place to go for a routine visit but not with these wait times.... apparently the ladies in the car next to me had been there for a really long time because they were about to lose their minds! However my rating is based on my experience there which was a complete waste of time for me. BTW that phone number on the sign doesn't even work! So anyone looking for a Covid vaccine or a test I definitely do not recommend coming here! I had an appointment at 10:30 showed up at 10:20 as it says come 10 minutes early. I received a phone call about 1130 (after calling twice to remind them I was out there) from a nurse just asking me the same questions that I had already answered online when I made my appointment... At that time I let her know I didn't plant to be there that long I was really thirsty sitting in my car for over an hour. I gave it 1 1/2 I let at noon. No test just sat in my car and now regretting that I have them my insurance info... I should have left then. They also informed me they wanted to charge my insurance for this free Covid test because my insurance covers it and also recommended a rapid test that would cost me $179 which I declined because I said the rapid test is not accurate once I had a rapid test and a nasal swab in the same day both with different results, and she agreed it's not accurate so why recommend it to me? So a free Covid test isn't free at any of these clinics you have to go to the drive through the park testing sites... which takes about 45 minutes from start to finish. AND ITS FREE they don't charge your insurance. These urgent med clinics advertise free Covid testing and then all want to charge your insurance once you show up isn't that illegal? I hate that this place has such a low rating when I have only had positive experiences here. I came once for a minor infection and again today because I thought I might have fractured a bone in my finger. Both times I was able to make an appointment online easily, I was seen right away and out the door in record time. Everyone here is also super nice from the receptionist who checks you in to the nurse to the PA Dr. Celina. She takes the time to listen and you don't feel rushed at all. She even remembered me from the last time I was there! Both times they were able to get me exactly what I needed, including X rays. Because of my insurance it is way cheaper for me to come here than to see even my regular doctor let alone a specialist for minor issues. I will definitely come here again if I need to. As a place to provide public services to all individuals, it's important to remember that if you are going to work in the healthcare system, you need to have some empathy towards those who are struggling with their health. It should not matter how old you are or who you are. When you are the faced with an issue that you've might have never dealt with before, it's important to remember that we are all human, treat people as if they are someone that you care about. The front desk staff need to become more personable and without attitude when dealing with humans. It's all a matter of how they treat patients. Especially those who do not understand the way the process is. It's supposed to be an urgent care. To provide based on urgency. Words alone cannot describe the excellent care I recvd from Celina Costa PA-C. I was referred by my wifes best friend and walked in Monday evening without an appt. I was taken immediately and was treated like family from the moment I stepped in the facility. I was given as good if not a better checkup than I receive from my pcp. My review is strictly for the Covid-19 testing, and even more specifically the pricing. I called to make an appointment for a rapid PCR test for travel. I asked for the price and was told &125. The price seemed high but it was necessary and I was in a crunch for time, so I booked it. After they processed my info and took my health insurance card, I was told I would have an additional copay of $100, so the final price was $225. I still can't get over that I had to pay that amount. I'm still fuming about it. But it actually GETS WORSE. I was told that the price for an uninsured person was $190. How is that even possible? Can someone explain that to me? read more

Highly, highly recommend this place. This is the best Urgent Cares I have ever went to. When my father, Gejza, suddenly fell ill and was showing us alarming symptoms while we were on vacation; my mother and I were both extremely concerned. We drove him to this Urgent Care and it couldn't have been more satisfied with the visit. When we described his symptoms to Doctor Celina Costa; she took us in with extreme precaution and a very high level of expertise. I have never seen my father in greater hands than hers. The entire staff, from the ladies working at the front desk, to the Physician assistants were all extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The doctors attitude was uplifting, even if it was the worst case scenario. You could tell she immediately took my father in as a concerned doctor, one who is willing to help in any way she could. I came here to complete a routine physical, TB test and a drug test for my job. Everything was fine during the initial appointment. I had to return 48-72 hours later to get the results of the TB test. This was a Sunday so I am doing this on my own time at this point. I am the only person in the waiting room and I am asked to sit down and wait. While waiting I can hear staff behind the counter discussing how my paperwork was nowhere to be found. After almost 35 minutes they had me sign a new form and I was on my way. 1 week later I get a phone call from the doctor stating that I needed to come back because "the results are ready but there are forms you forgot to sign". Excuse me?? I am assuming they do this sort of thing all day so I am wondering how it went so wrong. Now I have to explain to my boss that I'll be coming in late to go to urgent med a 3rd time because they're disorganized. I definitely won't be doing it on MY time. read more

Very unhappy with my experience today. I showed up at 11am I've been waiting in the car, I filled out the paper work and was charged but haven't been attended. It's an hour after I was charged so now I can't leave, I have a fever and I gotta go to the restroom. These are things they don't account for patience care. I feel worse than when I came in. The rx i asked to be refilled were simply out and i showed the phys assist. the bottles! asthma meds. After a small misunderstanding about what prescription I really needed the management and doctors took care of me with kid gloves.

I typically do not write reviews however my experience with this walk in clinic really requires one. My son hit his head and I wanted him examined so I arrived at the walk-in in clinic at 8:35pm (they close at 9). When I arrived the doors were already locked and I knocked on the door numerous times. The nurse was able to see me through the glass doors but refused to even acknowledged me. Eventually another patient from the back unlocked the door. When I asked if the doctor could quickly examine my son, the nurse said that he could. The doctor looked at the huge black bump on my son's head for a few seconds and said we needed to take him to the ER. We then proceeded to the ER. My issue with this clinic is that it doesn't take much to be a decent human being. Even if you are closed, you can answer the door and inform the patient of the next closest clinic that is open. Also after visiting the ER, it was prevalent that the doctor at the clinic did not properly examine my son as he just wanted to go home. read more

Worse urgent care ever. I made an appointment the night before for a toothache. I did all the paperwork insurance information form of payment etc. I get a confirmation for a video conference. Fine with all the COVID stuff I guess. I really want to see some but fine. I get in the video conference and after being there waiting to be seen I get a text to come to the office. Fine I drive to the office waited an hour and a half. I was ask me my insurance and license again (which I already had scan on the app for the appointment) to a couple of minutes I was call outside to tell me that they don't see dental issue. I spend my whole morning in pain trying to see some one to be kick out. If I could give a zero star that will be my rating. read more

Do NOT get the ALCAT allergy test--I received one and it was not only wrong but a simple Wikipedia search explains HOW WRONG it really is.."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ALCAT_test--The test is not supported by research and is not considered to be a reliable medical diagnostic tool; since it has not been appropriately validated it is not a suitable guide for therapeutic decisions.[1][2][3][4][5][6] In a position statement, the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy classified the ALCAT with other forms of cytotoxic tests as inappropriate tests, saying of them" its a waste of money and a hazard to health if people change their diets to this time test. If you listen to it tells you nutritional normal foods are bad so, I would get a second opinion on it before changing your diet. On a other note: The office is clean,its never busy, they wont let you leave without specialized attention. Dr.Granados is very nice but, kicks around the Point..but, he is skilled in what he does. I wont be going back unless of a emergency--The allergy test was a waste of my time-Its amazes me its FDA approved when soon I noticed its faulty I realized its not a REAL allergy test. Had to find a Dr last night for an emergency with my Daughter, Found UrgentMed and went over, they were so nice at the front desk and didn't have a TON of paperwork for us which was nice. Waited a little bit, there were a few people in front of us, Saw Dr Steve Cohen, he was super. He took his time with us and was very nice, seemed to really care about what was going on. He was able to figure out what was going on with my daughter and will be treating it. The center was pretty, very clean, and up to date on their equipment (from what I could tell) The staff was great and seemed very organized which is unusual for these types of clinics (in my experience) Overall a great experience, I would defiantly go again and recommend. read more

Waited 1hr 40 min. Only one doctor and one nurse working on a Saturday. They were calling back people that arrived after us but told me they call back on first come first serve basis and not triage. People who got loud and complained got bumped up while those waiting politely got bumped. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The employees are nasty rude especially the lady with the short hair and glasses. Rolled her eyes at my boyfriend and I when we simply asked for masks and she had a whole box sitting in front of her. If this place is a "Urgent" Med how come it takes almost 2 hours to be seen. The same lady also gave every other customer a hard time and an attitude... for what??? Is she just that miserable with herself? She skipped over a lady who had been sitting in the waiting room for about an hour with a swollen foot and took everyone else who came in after her, she wasn't giving clear information to anyone and kept stuttering and was making no sense. In and out in 15-20 minutes. Everyone was nice, friendly and helpful. Minimal paperwork, and as soon as they entered my info in the system I was seen by the PA. Although it's located in the Publix plaza, the building is closer to the road right by Cleary, not part of the main plaza so it's easy to miss. read more

Horrible. Went there for my son who hurt his ankle. First they have you check in electronically then fill out handwritten paperwork and then fill out mostly same information electronically again. Then the person trying verify insurance couldn't get the information via computer and instead of taking time to call insurance company to verify it was valid they said they couldn't verify it. We just left. So frustrating they seemed more into Covid testing since that's ill I heard them talking about than walk in patients. read more

I went in on a Sunday morning without an appointment. There were 2 people ahead of me. The wait was about 20 minutes. The staff was super nice. There was a PA there instead of a doctor. However, she was terrific. I thought I had bronchitis and she said it was viral. I thought I had just wasted my time and money since that meant no antibiotics. She did a swab for the flu and she was right! She prescribed tamaflu and some things to make the flu more livable. She was great and I am so glad she was there to see me! read more

Did not have a good experience at all. This place is expensive for NO REASON, and you would think that because of the amount you're paying, you would get your bang for your buck. Definitely not. I don't appreciate paying that much money, and my concerns were not fully addressed and they were downplayed into something else. I told him I was having leg pain, and he didn't even check. He simply touched my leg and told me I should go to a masseuse and stretch -_-. My concerns are deeper than some muscle issue, but he wouldn't listen. No xray, no CT scan, NOTHING. This building is located in the publix shopping center so parking is ample. Upon entry you are greeted by the reception who will give you forms to fill out and take your information. The wait is always pretty short. A nurse will bring you in and take your vitals and listen to why you choose to visit. You are then taken to a room. A doctor or pa will come into your room. The wait for this part can be extensive at times as they have one on staff. The visit is always extensive and they will run all the tests they feel are required and prescribe medication to help. The visit alone is thorough and very good. The downside is when you begin to receive the bills in the mail. They charge a lot of money for testing and do not have your insurance in mind when sending out testing. I also received allergy testing with Bethany. She was very nice. She performed the testing very well yet my insurance company was charged 3000$ for this! I tried calling a few times to inquire why the price was so high. Billing called me and said I would have to wait for her to call me. Two weeks later I am still waiting. I am lucky to have insurance to pay for most of it but the pricing is outrageous and does not compare to other places. If you have amazing insurance that pays 100% then I recommend this place. If you even have to pay 10% of your visit then go elsewhere or sit and wait for all the bills. read more
