I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I have received from Total Pest Solutions in Lake Alfred, Florida. After repeatedly calling your office, my calls were continually sent to voicemail, and I only received automated text responses instead of speaking with a representative. When someone finally answered the phone, the young woman I spoke with was rude, unprofessional, refused to provide her name, and showed no interest in addressing my concerns or finding a resolution. Before I agreed to sign a contract, I was specifically promised that multiple large bags of topsoil (up to three) would be brought to my property to repair the dead areas of my lawn. That promise was an important factor in my decision to become a customer. Instead, only a small amount of topsoil was brought, and even that was not applied properly to the front yard. I am now being told that adding topsoil is the customer's responsibility, which directly contradicts what I was told before signing the agreement. In addition, the technician who visited my property and his colleague did not document or complete what they had promised. Because nothing was written down, I am now being told that the commitment is not binding. I have even been told that I need to provide video footage from my home's security cameras to prove what was promised. That should not be the customer's responsibility. I requested that a manager come to my property to review the concerns in person, discuss what was promised before the contract was signed, and inspect the condition of my lawn. Rather than working toward a solution, I experienced resistance, aggressive pushback, and a lack of accountability. This entire experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. I became a customer based on the promises that were made before I signed the contract, and I simply expect those promises to be honored. I respectfully request that management contact me, visit my property, review the original commitments made during the sales process, and resolve this matter promptly. I hope Total Pest Solutions will take this complaint seriously, improve its customer service, and honor the commitments that were made to its customers. What they wrote me " Good morning, Sir, I wanted to clarify the situation regarding the bag of topsoil. The bag your technician brought was purchased with his own money as a courtesy. Topsoil is not a product that we stock or provide as part of our lawn service. When topsoil is needed, we typically recommend that the homeowner purchase it from a local store such as Lowe's or Home Depot, and we are happy to spread it during our visit. In this case, your technician was simply trying to help by bringing one bag at his own expense. He also did not charge you an initial service fee for the lawn. We did not cause the damage to your lawn, but we have been doing our best to offer guidance and assistance to help improve the affected areas. If additional topsoil is needed, you are welcome to purchase it, and we can spread it during your service. However, we cannot require our technicians to purchase these materials themselves, as providing topsoil is not part of their responsibilities or our standard service. I have referred them to many other friends, clients and businesses over the years; and they have shared the same experience. They have low turnover. I've worked with two technicians in my home: Anthony and Ricky. I've worked with Randall, the Owner, for termite solutions. Do not trust total pest solutions old grade road polk city. They farm out your termite tenting job to disreputable cheaper company. No oversight on who keeps your keys. Dean had no idea where the keys to my house were or when it was cleared to go in. Had to hunt him down and he was zone out with no concern for my house. I ended up being robbed by someone who knew they had plenty of time. Put things back to hide they had been there so took time to find out all that was missing. Didn't turn my security system back on which he advised to turn off, Didn't know how long the refrigerator door had been left open. didn't turn ac on. This company is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Since the very beginning of calling in to ask for someone to come out to sign up I've had issues with this company they cancelled rescheduled and said they only had openings every two weeks. The last "spray" that the associate did on the outside of the house showed up nowhere on our cameras and the associate did not even knock on the door to ask if there were any issues. I called last Friday to pay and let them know that I wasn't even aware that the associate was there besides the sign and the bill since he wasn't picked up on the cameras and when I went to pay they paid the wrong account. That is when I requested a call from the owner which didn't come in til today. I missed the call and called the physical location to only have the daughter answer she asked me why the owner was supposed to be calling me and I was going through all the reasons only to have the owners wife come on mid call while I was speaking and ask me how she could help and when I asked her if I'm supposed to go over the reasons again she told me no that she heard me talk and she's tired of hearing me talk and she doesn't want to hear me speak anymore and then hung up on me. I was flabbergasted so I called back in and only said that I wanted to cancel she picked the phone back up and said my husband will call you and hung up on me again. I tried calling her husband and it went to voicemail, so I called again to have her pick up and tell me that she got her husband on the phone and he would handle the situation, to which she didn't leave during the call still yelling at me at one point called me an idiot and tell me that I talk too much when I'm explaining to them the issues I am receiving with the company. At the end I just kept repeating how do I cancel with my card in hand ready to leave this company to which they continued to call me names and berate me I let them know that I had them on recording too because they hung up on me and berated me multiple times. I will be contacting the BBB and would advise anyone if they would like professionalism and honest work this is not the company for them. In regards to the issues that I stated previously the owner had an excuse for every employee and stated he would speak to the employees to get the truth, he also stated he's had MULTIPLE customers call in and say their employees weren't caught on camera spraying the outside of the house which he said wasn't true because his employees are "honest". Regardless of how honest I've never heard of a human being not picking up on motion detecting cameras. I've called other pest control services in the area and when I tell them I'm having issues with this company and I state the name they tell me they get a bunch of their disgruntled customers. Also if you have an issue and need them to come out for a pest emergency they won't have an "opening" for two weeks so might as well call someone else and just continue to pay total pest solutions to waste your money. To add to the worst part, I stated multiple times on the call that I was going to leave a review to which Randall stated he was going to waive the fee for cancellation because I left the review they sent me the cancellation fee and he is stating that he will not waive it because of the review. read more

We were having problem with stinging nettle in our yard hurting our dogs feet. James came out within 5 hours of me calling and just asking about Solutions. Within 12 hours of our first call we had our first treatment which killed a ton of weeds out of our yard and neutralized the stinging nettle. Our dogs now have no problems in the yard and our yard has never looked better read more

My neighbors recommended Total Pest Solutions and I did not hesitate due to the fact that their lawns look so amazing. Dean, a representative of TPS came out to review my lawn needs and quoted a fair price. He was very polite and gave my neighbor who referred us a credit towards their next service. He scheduled my first service which was serviced by Heath who was also extremely polite and explained the process before servicing the lawn. He even cleaned up an area of sand/dirt we had before he arrived due to a broken sprinkler head. Thank you! read more
