Always an easy recommendation for Total Wines, wildly silly overwhelming inventory bordering on gluttony of the most happy sin. There's something for everyone, great staff, fast checkout even at new years eve, and my only complaint is the annoying lack of obvious discounted items that need moved on. read more

As soon as I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, they offered me wine samples and who doesn't want to start their day with a wine sample? This liquor store probably has every single thing that you would ever need in a bar to make cocktails and it's also a great place for you to try wine and alcohol tastings because you can learn about different taste and flavors that you're not used to. Everything is very neatly organized. You can just look around to see what type of liquor wines and champagne's are where there is a lot of staff on file because the store is so big when we went. There was only two cash registers open, but I have but later that day they had a total of four open, so I feel like you can get in and get out really easily. We always spend way too much money here. It's so fun walking the aisles and seeing ALLLL the different variety of everything. And they do samples as well. I absolutely love that they do this before you buy a whole bottle of something you haven't tried before. Everyone was awesome to talk to and very helpful in their suggestions. We were planning a big Thanksgiving party and are glad to have gotten the recommendations. read more

Total Wine opened in the old Bed, Bath and Beyond location in Avon on Rockville Road/US 36. If you've never been to any of the locations, it is an impressive store with row after row of alcohol, wines, beers, mixers, and snacks. The aisles are well marked, organized, and extremely clean. It has always been easy to find an employee if I needed assistance. The cashiers are friendly as well. On this trip, we were just browsing, but I found a signed bottle of Dan Aykroyd's vodka in a skull bottle and decided to purchase. The Total Wine stores we've been to appear to have a similar store layout. You can purchase your favorite bottles of alcohol or wine, buy airline mini bottles for stocking stuffers, and grab a case of beer for the game along with snacks and cheeses. The staff is very knowledgeable and if they can't answer a question, they'll find a manager or someone who can. I enjoy browsing when time allows, so I become more familiar with what they offer. Today was the ribbon cutting and I and my daughter were able to be one of the lucky people able to snag tickets to the opening. Live music greeted us when we got inside after we had shown our identification at the door. Looking around there were rows and rows of a wide assortment of wines, whiskeys, moonshines and pretty much any alcohol you may wish to purchase as well as different types of decanters and glasses. Stationed throughout the building this evening were various samples of products as well as dessert shooters. Very crowded this evening since it was the grand opening. I didn't purchase anything today, but will return when the crowds are less so I can use my coupon and purchase a new travel mug. There is a room in the back corner for classes and events and near the middle there is a tasting area that will be set up. read more

love TW all over the nation as I travel... esp NJ when I was by princeton.. however this avon, Indiana location is a franchise and has some employees who claim to be "family members".. they hav demonstrated actions which are prejudical, violating and create legal liability with health hazards.. was going to take this up later with a manager but no response.. so please Beware ! and AVOID this store when you can.. its a severe disappointment for the Total Wine organization.. read more

Finally one on the west side. This store is clean and stocked. If you cannot find what you are looking for then that is unfortunate. I love the International section and take.a moment even if you are not a tequila drinker to stroll down that aisle and look at their bottles. read more

Great addition to the West side! Total wine and more has an extensive selection of beer, wine, and liquor. The store was clean and organized. Huge parking lot. Employees were helpful throughout the store for recommendations, working wine sample stations, and at the check out line. Line was initially long but moved fast. Lots of unique items not found in your typical liquor store. read more
