This was my first ever trip to Total Wine in that I could actually legally buy alcohol and I had a vague text message list of things to get for a get-together next weekend before a funeral service and I was having lots of trouble finding things I needed because I'm so inexperienced at this sort of thing After calling the store back when I got home, I found out the person that helped me out A TON (like beyond average customer service) was named Will! Employees here are the most friendly & helpful people! They notice you & ask you the customer if they can help you find anything. Even the vendors who are stocking their product will happily assist you. The store is clean & kept neat. I was impressed that upon entering they asked the people without a mask if they needed one & enforced their mask policy. Great job Denton store! read more

The manager Jason ruined my experience at this location. We were harassed while in the process of making a $100 purchase because we had to leave and get one of our IDs and come back. He was red faced and told us not to come back today. The other manager told him to go take a walk and let us make the purchase. They have great prices but from now on, me and everyone I know will only be purchasing from the Lewisville location because this one has terrible management. GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION. read more

I went on Saturday, November 14 which I. guessing was the day of their grand opening. When you first walk in there was so much to look at! Luckily I went in knowing exactly what I was looking for, but you come to "browse" then be ready to spend the entire day which I kind of wish I did. It was of course crowded, but I still had 3 employees ask me if I needed help. One of them helped me find the two bottles of wine I was originally looking for and the other one helped me get the last one of the shelf (short people problems). Anyways, everyone actually looked like they didn't mind helping you at all which I love! I know the next time I go it will be when I have time to actually look at all they offer. read more

This place was gigantic. Never seen such a diverse selection of liquor and beer. The tequila section is where I found solitude. Amazing.

Ordered a pony keg of beer, in person on Monday to arrive on Friday of same week. The day we were to pick it up they called to say the beer I ordered was unavailable . That is the extent of customer service from the Denton store. There was no can we put a rush on another keg? Or we might have something in stock for you? Or can we discount your next purchase? Really glad this wasn't for an event. Do not plan on using them again nor recommending them to anyone . Thanks for nothing ! read more

So many minis, so little time! Seriously, their selection of nip bottles and small flask bottles is great. Stocking stuffers and colleague gifts galore. And they had Everclear...limoncello making resumes this weekend. Friendly people and fast service. Prices were good. Not awesome, but good. read more

First time to shop here, very impressed. As I walked in it was almost overwhelming, but as I walked the store I thought it was well laid out.The selections of everything were endless. The price range covered the full spectrum and as competitive as anywhere. Plenty of polite floor staff and best of all seemed to be knowledgeable about the products. This place has a broad selection, but inconsistent stock levels and questionable customer service. It's easy to find an associate but difficult to get a straight answer about the location or availability of specialty items like Suntori Yamazaki 18 YR... unless you ask them to consult their computer system. read more

Don't waste your time with poor customer service at this location- go to the Lewisville store. We were looking for a seasonal beer and when we asked an employee about it, he looked it up and replied " It shows we have 20 units in stock, but I don't know where they are". He turned around and walked off. Luckily, the Lewisville store was much more helpful. read more

I'm a huge beer guy, so the small selection of beer is a little disappointing. It's hard to focus on that one issue though when they have insane amounts of vodka, tequila, wine, and everything else. It's the best "liquor store" in Denton hands down. read more

Another excellent Total Wine store. This place has set a new and much higher standard for liquor stores in the Denton area. Huge selections of beer, wine, liquor and lots of associated merchandise as well. Like the other Total Wine stores, the staff is knowledgeable, well trained and helpful. There are other stores nearby but none rise to the quality, variety and service of this one. I love this place! read more

They have everything! The prices are unbeatable, and are easily the cheapest in Denton. I'm always impressed with how much cheaper they can get away with selling some of my favorite liquor that is usually 20-40 dollars a bottle for half of the price I normally pay. They also sell some pretty delicious vegetable chips, if I do say so myself. 10/10. I do not go anywhere else for beer, wine or liquor in Denton. read more

Best place to find great cigars at a very reasonable price!

The managers at this store tossed my daughter and her friend out because they didn't see the "no one under 21" sign. Only one of the girls was 21 - the other one was just tagging along. The managers were rude and intimidating. I understand rules are rules, but post those rules where they can be seen. If everyone who looks to be under 30 needs to bring an ID, then post it where it can be seen. A business can't expect their customers to abide by the rules if they aren't easily viewed. And when someone breaks the rules, the managers don't have to treat them like criminals. Just ask them to leave. Causing a scene and embarrassing someone who made a mistake is no way to treat people. Not everyone is trying to game the system. read more

This place has everything. Be prepared though it is BIG. Staff is friendly though and willing to help. I hope it stays that way.

Love this place. The staff is very helpful and The difficult beers that are hard-to-find are usually here. They have taste testing and good recommendations based on previous taste. The prices are great too. Some of them are better than Walmart! I also love the small bottles they sell for taste testing and "create your own" beer packs. It's a must. Someone there will take care of you. read more
