Really disappointing. I don't know what Up in Smoke is thinking with this location. Full bar but AWFUL selection in the humidor. They didn't have any cigars I came in looking for, and they didn't even have butane refills. The one employee working had NEVER worked this location before and was helpless when it came to selection, POS system, etc. (not his fault). Major bummer - won't ever come back. read more

We have been to this location on multiple occasions when visiting Vista Ridge Mall or dining in the area. The last few visits provide a insight that the location appears to being going out of business. Is it a bar or a cigar store? On Thursday March 1st we went in and the humidor is almost completely empty. We asked about several different brands and were told: we don't have that one, we only have one of those left and we may get another order in a week like next Friday. You can see that the cigar boxes are spread far apart to appear cigars are in stock. Go luck and you need to stock cigars or just become a bar. read more

This place has changed..... This shop has been remodeled it looked nice but it was cold and not because the weather was cold. It was all concrete and metal the woman that was there did not seem to want to be there. She had no info to share it was almost like she was uncomfortable talking to me. There where may be 80 boxes of cigars but no more than 10 brands. The store had a bunch of big ashtrays 4 jars of pipe tobacco I saw one pipe. This store must have a bunch of regulars that keep it open. They do follow you around the store even though its wide open. I was looking for a table top lighter and they didn't know what it was. it was just a cold building might as well be a head shop. If I'm gonna sit and smoke some where I need to feel welcome. read more

Then I kindly asked him for WiFi password and he said yes for customers only and that I haven't bought anything yet. I was in there for 5 min. Horrible customer service. Not sure if the woman behind the bar is drunk or stupid , but she got my personal phone number and called and texted me asking to close out a bill that she claimed that I left without paying when I explicitly know that I paid. So I ask for clarification and ask for an itemized receipt and she sends it, so I go up to establishment to pay the bill because she does not know how to push buttons on a touch screen and when I arrive she becomes irate and says I am calling her a liar (which I did not do), precedes to say this is not the place for you (I told her fine and please run the card), she then starts to yell and call me an ***hole at the top of her lungs in front of other customers as I walk out. Then she addresses the two gentlemen sitting down and informs them that I am an ***hole. Never raised my voice, stayed calm and collect, and never used any profane language to this woman.......Stay classy Lewisville. read more

The gentleman that works there (Max) was super helpful. When I inadvertently bought a defective pipe he was very polite. He explained the typical company policy of no exchanges but gave me the opportunity to speak to the owner. The owner, after hearing me out, was very understanding and allowed me to exchange the pipe due to a manufacturer defect. I was super impressed with his professionalism am manners that I bought another $50 in products while I was there. I was hesitant because a lot of the review lately were so-so. However, I called them up and asked if they were open, the young man on the phone was polite, said yes, and invited me to come out and see the joint. I went over, was immediately greeted by the same guy and was shown the humidor. The selection wasn't great, it was okay, but the prices were on par with other cigar shops in the area. Once I had selected my stick, the same dude showed me over to the bar and got my drink. He was very nice the whole time, knowledgeable in the cigars on stock and knew I would want my scotch neat. He didn't offer a cutter or a light, but when I asked for them, he happily gave them to me. He checked on us many times throughout the afternoon, asked if I needed another smoke or drink a few times, he was always pleasant and nice to be around. The place was busy, but not crowded, plenty of space to have your own area. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.... the drinks were a little bit overpriced. Cigar shop was nicely laid out, plenty of seating and comfortable chairs. The humidor had a very broad selection but was grossly overpriced. Many of the leading cigars brands were priced anywhere from 50% to double what one would pay on certain cigar websites. When I inquired about the prices, I was told "taxes" are responsible. Anyone astute enough to research the topic would find that "greed" is responsible, as the individual stick price was, on certain cigars, $1.00-$3.00 over the regular price adjusted for taxes. The staff was very helpful. The middle-aged man working the counter was very nice and made me feel like a regular. However, the older gentleman with a moustache who came into the humidor was pushy, rude, and ill-informed on cigars. He recommended me a cigar that he claimed was "smooth and rich"; what I smoked was spicy and strong. All in all the store and its selection we're excellent, but the incompetent recommendation and overpriced cigars will have me continuing to order most of my products online. read more
