It's such a privilege to have a Total Wine in Glendale! Not only does the store boast an impressive selection of bottles, but the service is consistently excellent. After visiting multiple times, I've gotten to know the friendly staff and their store manager, Juan. Every time I stop by, I'm greeted warmly and assisted with any questions I have. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and will even walk across the store to help me find a specific bottle. Their customer service is truly top notch. I was very impressed with the services in Pasadena, I was, as a Glendale resident, very happy to see that they opened a Glendale location, conveniently located very close to my supermarket. Sadly, they failed to every extent. No knowledge of the product, unfriendly. I had multiple negative experiences so the executive office apologized at large. And even when they knew when I came back with an executive office gift card, they screwed it up so I vowed to never return. I left my cart at the checkout and drove to Pasadena to buy my liquor there. As some of you may ask: what happened? First, I asked for Sambuca. The sales rep had no idea - was not even able to punch Sambuca in her little hand-held device after spelling it three times (I think the fake lashes got in her way ;-). While I was grabbing some alcohol from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located underground, and they also share the lot with several other establishments like Ralph's. I hate coming here because the underground parking lot is tricky to get into. Lots of parking spots for you to choose from though. Staff: The staff here are very helpful and friendly. I attended the first of many classes at Total Wine's new location in Glendale. Our instructors Juan & Freddy were fabulous! They both are experts in their field and shared a wealth of knowledge with us in every aspect of wine. Plus, they were also very entertaining. We sampled some excellent Cabernet Sauvignons at various price points and were treated to some delicious food from Mediterranean Delight. I can't believe Glendale is getting it's own Total Wine & More. For years, I've been driving to the Pasadena location. This new location is located in the Glendale Fashion Center, right across from Ralphs market. The previous business that was occupying this space was Rite Aide, but they closed in 2011. After Rite Aide, this business has been a Halloween shop every October. I'm so glad this business has arrived in Glendale. Mind you, this location is much smaller than the Pasadena location. The manager of this location has terrible customer service. When dealing with an upset customer instead of de-escalating the situation she acts rude and makes petty comments.
