While in Hull for work, I was in search for delicious coffee that was not by a chain and this place was a pleasant surprise. Tucked away in the arcade, the small cafe serves delicious, well-roasted coffee with both cows milk and my favorite, oat milk! They also offer pastries from a nearby bakery. Usually different each day and your choice of regular/vegetarian and a vegan option. I tried two vegan pastries and both were delicious. If I have the opportunity to venture back to Hull, this place is definitely one of my first stops.

My sister ordered the Big Ozzie breakfast, and I ordered the smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs and halloumi. My dish was really beautifully presented. It came with a sweet chilli cucumber salsa, which is not necessarily something I would have chosen to go with the dish, but worked really well. My sister really enjoyed her breakfast as well. I tried a bit of the sausage patty and the hash brown and they were both delicious, really nicely seasoned.
