The whole place has this clean and almost cozy setup that instantly puts you at ease, which is the exact vibe you want when your brain is about to be tested for its life. The staff does such a good job of keeping everything moving. Even when you walk in and there's a line that looks intimidating, it ends up flowing way faster than you'd expect. Checking in feels organized, smooth, and actually reassuring. They make it very clear that they're there to set you up for success, not stress you out. What I appreciate most is how mindful they are about breaks and personal comfort. They really want you to take your time, breathe, reset, and not feel rushed to jump back into the exam. They're super efficient at noticing if someone needs the restroom or if another bathroom needs to be opened. It feels like they're quietly watching out for everyone in a way that makes the whole environment feel safe and supported. Even checking out at the end is quick and simple, almost like a palate cleanser after the mental marathon you just went through. I also had a moment where my phone was accidentally left on and started vibrating in the locker. The staff handled it in such a calm and professional way. The woman just gently asked for my key, turned it off for me, and let me know it happens all the time. I felt bad, but she made it so easy that I walked away really grateful for how patient and human they are. Honestly, this testing center is one of the nicer ones I've ever been to, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful, well run place to tackle their exam.

The testing center is located in a quiet shopping center and the testing center itself is very calm, staff is excellent (very encouraging and nice!) which believe it or not is a DRASTIC change from other testing centers I've tested at. Highly recommend testing at this location.

Sat here for SHRM exam…read more When you get in, you're asked to show ID and you get a key to a locker, where you can put all your things away. You will be asked to lift your pants to show your ankles, same with your sleeves. Metal detector is also being used. You'd be asked for doing all of it again in case you'd be using the restroom during your exam. You sign it with exact time of arrival and start your exam. I think I'd have appreciated earplugs more than the noise cancelling headphones. There was a man sitting behind me that kept on coughing and I could hear every bit of it. It was extremely distracting. All ladies there were very polite.

The worst part was that the room was unbearably hot. There's a sign that says room temp is 70-75 for comfort but with all the people and computers trapped in one room, it was kind of musty and warm. I was only wearing a thin tshirt but I was sweating a little bit. Temp was probably around 75 which is uncomfortable for me personally. To try to make things better they have a fan that faces upwards and circulates air in the room but the combination of a warm room and white noise from the fan just made me feel groggy. The testing center is shared with a children's tutoring area. They mostly soundproof the testing room so it was fine except when people are talking right outside the room, we can hear muffled talking noises. I could've been okay with everything if the room weren't warm with white background noise. The warmth was the worst part. Imagine sweating and being groggy while taking an 8 hour exam. I probably won't be coming back to this location bcs of the AC situation

Sylvan started by doing a full assessment and then walked us through which program would best fit her needs. We began with homework help, but after seeing her results, we switched to their reading comprehension program. She now attends twice a week, and they focus on helping her understand what she reads--things like cause and effect, main ideas, and writing at a 5th‑grade level. One thing I really appreciate is that they even reached out to her school teacher to get a clearer picture of where she was academically, so everyone is working together. Since starting, my daughter has grown so much. She actually enjoys writing now and is slowly building more interest and confidence in reading. The small group setting works really well for her, and I love that Sylvan does monthly check‑ins with parents so we always know how she's progressing. Overall, Sylvan has been a great experience for our family, and I'm grateful for the support they've given my daughter.

I took the Project Management Fundamentals class with Professor Hans Meijer in April of 2026, and I…read morehonestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was truly impressed by how much valuable information we were able to fit into a one-day class while still keeping everything clear, engaging, and easy to follow. Professor Meijer has a great way of breaking down project management concepts and industry terms so they actually make sense. He was able to connect with everyone in the room--whether you were brand new to project management or already had experience leading projects--and make the material feel relevant to where you are right now. Nothing felt overly complicated; it all had real-world meaning. We followed the PMBOK, and what really stood out to me was how much effort he put into making sure everyone understood the material. The hands-on exercises throughout the day helped everything click and made the learning stick instead of just feeling like information being thrown at us. I am eternally grateful for this class and for Professor Meijer's approach to teaching. I'm walking away with knowledge and tools that I can use immediately, and I know these lessons will stay with me as I continue to grow and manage projects in my current role as a project coordinator. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to build a strong foundation in project management.

Project Management Academy (PMA) is a Verified Premier Authorized Training Partner for the Project…read moreManagement Institute (PMI). I did their Basic PMP Exam Prep Boot Camp ($1995.00). This included the 35 hours of PMI approved instructor training, thousands of practice questions, supplemental course videos, post class tutoring and this "100% money-back guarantee" which was the most appealing part of the deal. This 100% money-back guarantee comes with conditions to be met prior to taking the test, so it is not as simple as it sounds. The education materials were available online but there was an option for the printed option ($35.00) which I decided to get since it would have costed me more in ink to print it all out myself. Worth it!! I like taking notes and writing all over my books and highlighting things. Prior to the class, it is recommended to take a pre course assessment to get your baseline. No comment on my baseline conditions. It was not great! I did my boot camp from March 1-4 @8:30-6pm PT with Mike Martin II. In retrospect I really should have signed up for a central time course since I am naturally an early bird and I really felt my brain struggling after 4pm everyday. Mike was great! Very engaging. His stories made the material a lot more relatable and easy to remember. 5 stars for Mike!! But PMA is bound to PMI course materials and the order of the slides were not, in my humble opinion, the best order. To overcome this, Mike did have some supplemental materials for the class which was most helpful. The class I was on had great participation so it made the class more active. I can tell Mike was very passionate and was invested in all of the students' success. He provided his personal information if we needed help after the course and encouraged us to apply for the exam, ask him if we have questions with the application and get a date in the books so it happens. The course is only as good as what you make of it. After the boot camp, I did a Mock Test and the Mock Test review session. I made sure to do Timed Practiced Tests once a week, attend the weekly Friday tutoring session (12-2pm PT/3-5pm ET), practice questions and situational questions. The situational questions are most helpful, but limited. When I went to take it the second time, it seemed like all the same questions. I wish they had more situational questions. My favorite tutoring sessions were with Mike Martin II and Stephen Hoogerwerf. They were helpful and organized, and their teaching styles were a good fit for me. If your class dates are flexible, I recommend finding a class that they are teaching. They also have Topic Review Videos. These videos were sooooooooo boring!! Not a fan. I actually ended up going on You-Tube to watch better made videos. Sorry, not sorry. Had to do what I needed to do to ensure my success. For the amount of money this course cost, I expect a bit more. I passed on my first try on April 10th with Above Target in all 3 Domains and on the overall test, but it required me exploring other studying avenues. I don't feel like PMA alone would have been enough. A part of this might be due to the PMP Exam version change at the beginning of 2021. As a large company their practice exam questions might take longer to adapt than a small company. Just an observation. Still very grateful. Cheers!!
