There's a massive covered pavilion area that would be perfect for group meetups or a picnic in the shade. And while it was still closed for the season, the splash pad/water park area looked like fun! The manager came over. I asked her....how can a birthday party at a venue for little children be filled with...this? I was appalled at her response. First she said, maam, weed is legal in Virginia. Ok in that case why don't we go ahead and also allow parties to serve alcohol and smoke cigarettes. THIS IS A CHILDRENS PLAY AREA! Who cares if it's legal! How is that relevant to my concern!? Then she quickly backtracked saying of course they weren't smoking in here, they must have just smoked outside and it was just on their persons when they entered. Ummmm no. The entire room REEKS. She refused to do anything for us other than offer to mop (but we're all in socks...no thanks). Later they took $6 off my balance and gave me three day pass vouchers (I've always gotten these in the past after large parties). Did nothing to offer any kind of discount. There are different time-slots designated depending on the age group you decide to jump with. Each jump is allotted 3 hours. For instance, families with small kids jump early and adults jump in the evening. During the adult jump there was a live DJ who came up with games to engage the jumpers. The setup is comprised of 5 inflatable bounce houses with different themes. Within each of the bounce houses there are different props and games such as basketball hoops with beachballs for basketballs, gladiator rings, mini slides, a foam machine, and giant chairs. The best feature is the large slide that's attached to the "world's biggest bounce house" attraction, which is the largest of the 5 bounce houses. Some things to know before you go: - The weight limit is 245lbs - Bring extra socks, even if you just keep them in the car to change into afterwards. The weather was clear on our jump day, but rained in the days prior, which led to unavoidable puddles of water throughout all of the bounce houses. The temperature was around 60 degrees, so after a while walking around with wet socks was too cold and uncomfortable, which caused us to leave early - Wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty Recommend going on a warm day (not hot), ideally after consistently dry weather.

The inflatables were super springy (in the best way possible) and the staff were friendly and on top of safety without ever being overdoing it. We did not get any food, food truck offered fresh food options. The not so good: It was muddy due to rain in the area. There was some water puddles on the inflatables. It was not a show stopper. The best part! Everyone was genuinely having a great time. When they return to the DMV, this will be the perfect place birthdays, group outings, or just an excuse to have some all-out fun.

The owner/teacher told the birthday child's mom ...in front of guests...that the party time was over and that the kids needed to take their food to go because she had only paid for a set amount of time. You could tell the mom was embarrassed and trying to keep it low-key, but it felt unnecessary and unprofessional to handle it that way during a child's birthday party. If you're looking for a warm, friendly environment with some flexibility and good customer service, this isn't it. I won't be returning.

The park has a picnic shelter with picnic tables under it and a grill just outside of it. It has two picnic tables. One of the tables is rectangular and the other is a square table with a checkerboard on it. There is also a couple of picnic tables and a grill in a grassy area in the center of the park's circle. You will also find a nice full basketball court at the park and a nice paved trail passes through it. It is a really nice trail and very peaceful. The highlight of the park though, is its playground. The playground has a rubber mud free floor, which is in great shape. There are benches around the playground's perimeter where parents can sit and watch their little ones. The playground's equipment includes a small jungle gym with slides, a large net climbing structure with a slide. There is also a bank of swings with a toddler swing, An ADA compliant swing, and some traditional swings. This is a very nice park. I didn't know if I would make a special trip to visit, but it is still very nice. I ended up here because I had picked up some food from a carryout joint and needed a place to eat it. The park's picnic shelter was the perfect spot. So, if you are in the area, and looking for a park to visit. I recommend checking this place out.
