The facilities look well kept/maintained and it's a convenient food stop since there isn't much else for miles. The ceilings don't look quite finished but the restroom was clean and tidy. I do like the wood they used as well. Unfortunately, the service is extremely slow. There were only two people in the restaurant when we ordered, and it still took a very long time before the food came out. Oddly, there are no fountain drinks (possibly a product of the location). You get a 20 ounce Coke or Pepsi product instead. They also have a bar area if that's more your speed. My taco burger wasn't bad. Not as spicy as I'd make myself, but interesting nonetheless. So the food was not awful, it just didn't stand out. read more

A friend in Bismarck told me about the burgers here and so I stopped in this last week on my way to the Big City from the Little City north of here. Anyway, the fries were really good and crispy, different sort of seasoning. Things like that. Yummy. The burger was huge and freshly made, not like something you get out of a package so yes, very good. My friend in Bismarck had said that everyone loved their burgers and so, now do I. They have a large selection of choices and when I asked the wait staff what they would recommend she told me that she had just ordered the Totten Burger for her own lunch and so I did too. It was very good !!! I like to try the different local diners and burger places across the northern great plains and this one is definitely one I will stop at again. PS - You know what I want? they have great T shirts here and I want one with their slogan on it: "I fell off the wagon at the Totten Trail!!" New owners, total make over, updated, clean, comfortable. Very apparent they want to focus on quality food and not just a bar with food. Food is outstanding and reasonable. We had Deluxe large pizza. Crust was thin and crispy, special handcrafted sauce great tasting, ingredients were evenly spread around pizza, with plenty of tasty cheese. We will make this a must stop we ever we come through the area. read more

My Husband and I were looking for a great local restaurant/bar to visit while we were here on vacation .We read the reviews so we decided to try it out.and we were extremely happy with the great food and great service . The pizza is amazing and they have a great happy hour . The bartenders Terri and Sarah make great drinks and were very friendly as well as the owner Tim . My husband & I drive a Semi hauling grain and places for us to stay are limited. I called & found out they had a vacancy. Rooms have 2 beds & it's only $65/ night if we don't use the other bed. Check in is inside bar. Got asked by waitress to wait a few minutes before going to room because they needed to make sure it was clean, It's was 600pm when I checked in. Took bags to room 15mins later. One of the beds looks slept in & mud on floor. So, set bags on floor by bed & went to bar to wait. About 700pm, the waitress said room was ready. Obviously the housekeeper must not know how to clean a hotel room. The slept in bed was just straightened up, pillow still had head indentation. Floor was dirty & rugs (even bathroom) needed vacuuming (badly). We had share 1 bath towel but had 2 hand towels. Shower curtain was dirty. Tv is over one of the beds, which is very awkward. Had a coffee maker with filters & 1 packet of coffee. No cream or sugar or stir stick. A/c & heaters work great. No cable or satellite tv. No wireless internet. No desk or table, even tho you have very small kitchenette. Microwave looks to be from the early 90's. Bed soft & had a sink hole in middle. Think $65 a night is too much. Should be less than 50. Also, there are only 4 hotel rooms. read more

I have been there twice now. A great place to stop if you only want one beer because that's all you're going to get served. The place looks good after the remodel but the service was terrible and the food was mediocre at best. read more

We went here on Father's Day. There was a group of 10 of us and we had to sit at 2 tables- which was fine. Both tables ordered at around the same time, but the one table got their food a substantial amount of time before the other. The other table waited for over an hour (almost an hour and a half) and the other waited for around 20 mins. People who arrived MUCH later got their food around 30 mins before they did. They didn't do anything to the ticket. We paid full price when it should have been voided. WE WILL NOT BE BACK for a while read more

Well, we have had our fill here. Last year while visiting here food was good. This year the chicken was not good and we just had burgers today that made me think that the place was on fire (scorched/burned). Does anybody care? Didn't seem so - bye bye to this place! read more
