Our tailride began with a polite and friendly horse handler who had the horses ready and greeted u courteously. While this was appreciated, no safety instructions were given before the ride. My grandchildren ages 6 and 10, had never been near or ridden horses, so I provided them with my own safety guidance. We were not offered helmets, which I feel should standard, especially for young riders. The trail itself was pleasant, taking us along a meadow and near a lake. However, as we neared the end, my horse was spooked by my grandson's horse and jolted, causing me to fall. I blacked out briefly and when I came to, I was on my back looking to the sky with no one around. My Apple Watch's SOS feature contacted emergency services, and I was able to communicate that I was conscious, not bleeding, and without obvious fractures. About five minutes later, the horse handler returned, assuring me my grandchildren were safe in the truck at the trailhead. He helped my back into my shoe, walked me the end of the rails, and was very apologetic. After reunited, he asked for our release forms, which I provided along with a tip. I waited 20 minutes in my car before driving, to ensure I wasn't dizzy, and the grandchildren were calm. Later that afternoon, I went the emergency room. While waiting, I called the owner/manager to ask if she know what had happened. She said she did not have phone service and had not been informed even though the incident occurred at 9:50 in the morning. While I explained the incident, her only response was that "it has never happened before" and that she would "look into it" and have the horse checked by a veterinarian. The ER staff expressed concerned that no one had called for help and an incident report had not been completed. Tests revealed a minor concussion and a small bone fracture in the left finger. I am thankful my injuries were not more serious and that my grandchildren were unharmed. I remain disappointed with the lack of safety instruction, absence of proper safety gear, and the way the owner/manager handled the situation afterward. Here is my review as Touch Chrome has been asking for since 2:00pm day of the accident and two days later as well. I hope everyone who oread this learns from my experience that horseback riding is to be taken seriously. I will not attend a tailride outfit that does not offer safety gear instructions again. read more

The trail ride was perfect. The horses were well behaved and I recommend for beginners if you want a relaxing ride. It is not at all ranch- you meet the horses at the trail so go to the bathroom before in town. Our guide Adrian was awesome. It's nice that they do this in small groups (4-6 people). The people were friendly, they were there on time, the horses were plenty gentle. Can't think of any way it could've been better.

Donna and Adrian were there bright and early getting the horses set up for a ride. We mounted up and they adjusted the stirrups for each person, gave a some direction on how to handle a horse and we were off. The horses are well behaved for trail rides, they know when and who to follow. The 2 hour trail ride was awesome, not some simple ride on flat pasture. This trail took us through steep hills and (for our ride) muddy ditches that challenged the horse a bit which added to the excitement. For the price, it's worth every penny. Special thanks to Donna and Adrian for putting together a great ride, we were given direction every step of the way when the terrain changed. read more

I have experience on horses and I thoroughly enjoyed my time! I am new to the area and I wanted to have horseback experience in the place I call home! I was able to get my fix in and then some. The owner showed up after our ride and was also super energetic and kind. Everyone on the trail was friendly. The horses were super calm and knew the way. Mrs Donna gave me and my wife THE BEST tour! She took pictures of us, gave us facts about the horses we were riding found the best rest spots for the horses to drink water from a creek and eat a bush with berries in them. She was patient and sooo kind I wish I wasn't limited to 5 stars. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for somthing different and interactive. We even gave the horses snacks from hand afterwards. I had an amazing time! We did the two-hour sunset ride. The experience itself is great, but I have a few reasons why I dropped it to 3 stars instead of 5. First, they gave a couple of instructions on how to navigate the horse very quickly, and that was it. As a first-time rider, that was not sufficient and left me feeling anxious. For the most part, the horses were well-behaved. You could tell they were a little frustrated, as who knows how long they had been ridden. My husband got kicked by one of the horses in front of him, which is probably a normal experience when riding in a group of horses; however, they should be a bit clearer on the risks outside of the waiver. It may be helpful to send out tips beforehand on horse behavior and navigating, instead of doing it for 1 minute before your ride. Also, there is a lot of potential for dangerous situations, especially for those who have never ridden. There were slopes, and the horses could have easily pivoted if the rider did not know how to redirect. As I said, I had loads of fun and do not regret it; however, there should be more information prior to about the risks, the body language of horses, and some advice when riding. They had a link for 'first-time riders,' but every time I went to open it, it said the webpage was not found. read more

The past two trail rides have been awful with this company. I chalked it up, the first time, as a fluke but now I'm certain that is not the case. They are just not a good business anymore The woman who led both rides vaped during the ride. The smoke blew in my 15 year old nieces face. The woman who is supposed to ensure the safety of the riders. Did my check the stirrups or saddle correctly even though my other niece who has a horse and is experienced told her the saddle was not tight enough and the stirrups were too long. The leader eventually fixed it but only after a while into the ride. She allowed them the horses to lope despite the fact that 3 out of the 4 guests were inexperienced riders. Overall, very disappointing. I will be recommending a different trail company next time for sure. read more
