I can't say enough about our ride this weekend. The handlers were phenomenal!! Our family of 4 did the 30 minute ride but our little one had her own private ride first. It was her birthday so a great way to give her a little extra time with the horse and get acclimated for a longer ride. The short ride for the kids is only about 10 minutes (I believe it's for ages under 10) but it's reasonable priced and a great photo opportunity for the parents. On the 30 minute ride with the family, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience. Our handler held a rope to manage our little one directly behind her (and guide her horse if he became rowdy). It was just enough adventure for her, our 14 year old, and the parents. Don't forget to tip your handler!

I took my wife here for our 34th wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. She had never been horseback before, and I have not been on one since the late 80s. No matter your skill set this is a nice ride.

I've taken my 7 yo son, C, to Eagle Eye twice and he LOVES it. C had never ridden a horse, so we did a wrangler assisted ride the first time to see how he liked it. It's an easy, wrangler-led ride down and back on a wooded trail. It was good for C to test the waters and get comfortable. He was doing well and feeling confident, so the wrangler let him ride without leading for a little bit. C was so excited leaving the first ride that he wanted to do a longer one. We went back today (about 4 weeks later!) to do a 30-minute City Slicker ride. He felt very comfortable being in the same place with the same people, and even requested the same horse, Rooster. The horses are all very well trained and docile. They're comfortable with one another and with the trail. The staff are all super friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. We had a great experience and would recommend it for new riders!

The horse ride was very cool. We went kind of slow but that's expected as we didn't have much experience riding horses. Lol. The handlers were the best! They had alot of patience and taught us the basics in a few minutes time. The horses were great and all of them were extremely well behaved. We had a great time and it's a definite recommend. However, if you're and experienced horse rider, this might be too slow for you. :)

Saw these guys at Dinosaur State park and they were awesome. They were able to accommodate a last minute walk up for my family on spring break with gentle horses for the children. Thanks @eercctx

Beautiful trail! The horses were gentle. Our wrangler was very knowledgeable about each individual horse and the area.

If you are looking for a top-notch place to board your horse, I strongly recommend 4 Hearts Ranch…read more I have boarded my horse here for four years, since its prior existence as the historic Wills Ranch. Hallie Martin and her excellent staff have spent the last 2.5 years bringing this venerable property back to life, and I could not be more pleased with the services provided and the vast improvements and renovations that continue to be made. My horse's stall and run are beautifully maintained. He always has fresh, fluffy bedding and plentiful clean water from his automatic waterer. His hay and feed are top quality and are stored safely. He is turned out daily, weather permitting. The multiple turnout pastures are huge. Proper herd management is a priority. Hallie decides where each horse goes to create the best possible herd life for every equine. The entrance gate is secured 24/7 with a keypad lock. In addition to providing wonderful care for the horses, Hallie wants her boarders to enjoy the gorgeous property as well. She has cut trails through the ranch, which also boasts a creek and large fields for good runs. The large indoor arena is well-lit and professionally leveled. There is an outdoor arena as well. Boarders can relax in the cozy lounge. In-house trainers in multiple disciplines offer their services to help you and your horse meet and exceed your performance goals. Hallie is responsive to the boarders and truly looks after our horses as if they were her own. Her horses receive the very same care given to the boarded ones. One afternoon my horse was acting a "little off" in the pasture, and she stayed with him until I could check on him. He turned out to be fine, but I rest easier knowing she and the staff are keeping a close eye when I can't be there. If I have a question or an issue, all I need to do is bring it up to Hallie or Assistant Manager Laura, and I get a prompt, pleasant, professional response. When an issue arises, Hallie and her staff respond immediately. The ranch is beautiful, but the health and happiness of the horses are the top priority. Speaking as an owner who requires full board, I firmly believe my horse would not be any safer, happier, or healthier anywhere else besides 4 Hearts. 4 Hearts is blessed with many long-term and newer boarders who are happy to call 4 Hearts their barn home. The ranch has a consistently high occupancy rate. If you are considering boarding your horse at 4 Hearts, do your research. Take the opportunity to visit with some of the good folk here. Talk to Hallie. More importantly, talk to your local vet. Talk to your farrier. They know the facility and the owner and can give you unbiased feedback. Bonus: there are friendly barn cats and gorgeous peacocks to add to the welcoming atmosphere. This is a very happy place for horses and boarders alike.

The animals are so well taken care of and loved. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience, and we are so glad to have stayed there. Special shout out to Allen the Chef who made some of the most delicious meals I have had and Anne and Jackie who were so knowledgeable about otters and kangaroos. We also loved Dundee (their baby kangaroo.)

The place was clean and just the right size for my wife and I. Being city folks you forget how dark it is out in the country at nights. It was nice. We signed up for these adventures to make the weekend even more fun: 1. Feed baby kangaroo(Bodhi). This was about a 30 minute session where we got to feed him a bottle and kibble. It really was an amazing experience. 2. Bucket of food and self guided feeding of animals. We walked the property and hid to feed so many animals. All of the animals were friendly toward people. They were all very good motivated. We encountered a giraffe, donkeys, zebras, horses, cows, pigs, dwarf steers, camels, emu, deer, buffalo and more. The animals were often trying to bully their way to the front of the line. The cow Oreo who has not skipped a meal was always front of the line. 3. Afternoon safari ride in ATV. This was a fun ride around the property. Did not see any new animals but had a great time. The cows out at pasture were thrilled to be fed. 4. Giraffe encounter and meal. This was a little expensive but I would spend it again. The giraffes were super friendly and personable. We wanted to take them home because they were so much fun. The guide, experience and never felt rushed made this worth it. Our guide was top notch. I think her name was Jackie but could be wrong.
