She must have the steadiest hand of all time and patience like no other because she executed everything PERFECTLY. I also really appreciated her honesty with me throughout the entire process. When I first tried on the dress for her, she immediately noticed that the ballroom-style skirt was a bit large for my petite frame, so she suggested that we remove a few layers of the petticoat under the skirt. I definitely had the best experience of the weekend here. Before visiting, you use their online portal to select your favorite dresses from their collection. When I arrived, you could tell that the stylist had spent some time reviewing my choices and really put some thought into how to structure the appointment. I tried on all of my favorites, and also quite a few of her recommendations in similar styles. I loved so many of the dresses I tried on, I'd say their collection is trendier than a lot of other places I visited, but still has some classic styles mixed in. While my other appointments were pretty hit or miss, basically everything I tried on here was high quality and so beautiful. The store itself is really pretty too, it feels super high-end and relaxing at the same time. There's a private room with a changing area for the bride and seating for guests, and it seems like they only do one shopping appointment and one dress pick-up appointment at a time, so it's really private. The prices were fair, ordering and dress pick-up process was seamless, and the staff was so helpful along the way. They don't offer alterations in house, but have two preferred tailoring partners they can refer you too. I picked my dress about 10 months before my wedding, and had to pay a small rush fee to get the dress in time, so make sure you plan way ahead. Loved the experience overall and am so so happy with my dress. I've already been recommending it to all the future brides in my life!!

They sent everyone in the wedding party their tuxes…read more10 days before the wedding, which gave us plenty of time to try them on and request any adjustments. When needed, the new pieces arrived within 48 hours, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I definitely recommend going to a local Black Tux showroom to get measured. Most of our guys got measured at Men's Wearhouse, and their sizing didn't quite match The Black Tux's system -- that was the only small hiccup we ran into. My now-husband, our dads, and all of the groomsmen looked so handsome -- the tuxes were sharp and fit great after adjustments. One of our favorite stories from the day: my brother-in-law (and best man) was having such a blast on the dance floor that he accidentally ripped his shirt, and The Black Tux didn't even charge him! They told us they were just glad he had fun -- truly above-and-beyond customer service. I'd highly recommend The Black Tux for any wedding or formal event. The process was easy, the team was responsive, and everyone looked amazing!
