Hranush made me feel like an absolute goddess in my dress! Her expertise is limitless and she is so good at explaining what she is doing and why. She will do anything and everything in her power to make a bride feel gorgeous and her work is a testament to that! Eleven out of ten would recommend!

I am so so glad I found Hranush for my wedding dress alterations. Not only is she so lovely to be around, she is probably the most talented seamstress I have come across, even after 15 years of living in big cities with lots of options. I trusted her and enjoyed visiting her shop. She made adjustments to my dress so it would hold up better throughout the night, as there was a lot of sheer, thin fabric. She also made adjustments I asked for to the lace at the shoulders - bringing it up a little higher so it sits on my shoulder instead of arm. In the end, the dress looked even better than it did the way it was made. She also did a unique bustle to make sure the fabric wouldn't rip, and she added lace so you could not even see the buttons. She really knows what she's doing. I was very impressed. Definitely recommend Hranush!

Hranush did an amazing job with my dress! It was no easy feat - lots of complicated lace work - and she made it fit like a glove without even being able to tell it had been altered. I am so impressed with her work and her professionalism. She made me feel totally at ease and confident during the entire process. She is worth every penny, highly recommend!

Amazing work! She tailored my wedding dress so perfectly!!! Everything was done when she said it would be! She even took my extra lace, clipped out individual flowers, and made a seamless flowing lace pattern on my wedding dress that was everything I wanted and was blown away by. She was kind and professional.

Hranush did an amazing job altering my dress to make sure I looked perfect on my wedding day. She created an amazing bustle and went above and beyond to make sure my bridal party was comfortable getting me in and out of the dress. I highly recommend Hranush!

Hranush is a miracle worker! She completely revamped and resized my Davids bridal dress to fit like a GLOVE! I could not even imagine a more perfect fit. Her hours were flexible and pricing reasonable, I would recommend 100x over!!! Thank you so much!!!

My search for my wedding dress was... rushed, to say the least. Our wedding was very low key and I originally wasn't planning on getting a fancy wedding dress. About 2 weeks before the wedding, my mom flew into Boston and she suggested that we just go and look "for fun." So to appease my mother, we went dress shopping. we went to a few of the big department stores and nothing blew me away. I live in Arlington and knew there was a bridal shop right on Mass Ave but had never gone in. So we went to Camilla's and poked around. We we're greeted immediately even though there were at least 3 other brides all having fittings at that moment. The first thing I said was "The wedding is in two weeks..." No scoffing, no fussing, Camilla just put a hand up and said "ah! then we are limited to the sample rack." She asked me about the style I liked, my budget, the vibe of the wedding, and in about 5min, she had 10-12 dresses pulled out and got me into a changing room. I spent about an hour and half trying on dresses and the whole time Camilla and one of the tailors assisted me, pinning fabric back or bulldog-clipping the dresses to fit. Lo and behold, I found one that ticked all the boxes and I loved it. It had to be taken in and adjusted but I was assured it could be rushed and ready in time for the big day. I only had to do 2 additional fittings, one at the tailors home, but it was done in about a week; I had maybe 5 days to spare before the wedding! I went from not wanting a wedding dress, to finding the perfect dress 2 weeks before my wedding and having a great time doing so. I cant thank Camilla and her team enough for being so accommodating considering the timing. The experience was friendly and everyone was very respectful of me, my time, and my needs. Thank you Camilla's Bridal!

Anita, the owner of Bridal Reflections, is amazingly helpful and sweet. She runs her business out of her home (above a dentists office), so don't be thrown off when you get there. The entire second floor is filled with amazing dresses. The selection was better than any bridal store I'd visited before. The bride to be had a specific gown in mind for me to wear and Anita found it immediately, and then spoke on the phone to another bridesmaid who lives in North Carolina to order the same dress for her. The prices were much less than other bridal stores. She passes on the discount she gets from having a home based business straight to you. I paid a deposit using my credit card. The other bridesmaids are in Nevada, Missouri, Texas, and Virginia and we were just going to do a bulk order, but I didn't have money at the time so the bride let me order mine on my own.. "It's okay if it's not dyed with the other ones.. I mean the maid of honor can be slightly off color, right?" Well that line worked. After calling at least 4 other places in the area, I spoke with Anita of Bridal Reflections. BR is Anita's business that she runs from her home in Watertown (she also has a place in Belmont where she shows dresses I believe). Seemed semi-strange at first, but we're all trying to make a buck these days and I'd heard good things, so I went ahead and bought it with Anita. She gave me the sweetest price too. Probably about $40-60 less than her competitors (and she told me prices without sounding exasperated). I don't know remember if I told her about my lack of funds or if she could sense my desperation, but she told me I could pay for half of it now and then pay for the rest when the dress arrived. Amazing. Seriously amazing for those of you who know about my 3 apartment debacle from this summer. Fast forward to a little over a month later and the dress arrived early! Anita came to the rescue again. When she found out I was having issues getting down to Watertown and that I would be taking a bus, she wouldn't have it. She took my credit info over the phone, charged me the balance, and shipped the dress that day. I received it by the end of the next business day! Seriously, Anita is the nicest wedding affiliated woman I've ever met. OH and I almost forgot, last time I chatted with her, she recommended a woman she's been working with on alterations for forever. I definitely had the best experience of the weekend here. Before visiting, you use their online portal to select your favorite dresses from their collection. When I arrived, you could tell that the stylist had spent some time reviewing my choices and really put some thought into how to structure the appointment. I tried on all of my favorites, and also quite a few of her recommendations in similar styles. I loved so many of the dresses I tried on, I'd say their collection is trendier than a lot of other places I visited, but still has some classic styles mixed in. While my other appointments were pretty hit or miss, basically everything I tried on here was high quality and so beautiful. The store itself is really pretty too, it feels super high-end and relaxing at the same time. There's a private room with a changing area for the bride and seating for guests, and it seems like they only do one shopping appointment and one dress pick-up appointment at a time, so it's really private. The prices were fair, ordering and dress pick-up process was seamless, and the staff was so helpful along the way. They don't offer alterations in house, but have two preferred tailoring partners they can refer you too. I picked my dress about 10 months before my wedding, and had to pay a small rush fee to get the dress in time, so make sure you plan way ahead. We had a few appointments and I had a couple of plans with family and friends as well in a short time. This must vary based on who you get so YMMV but my experience was incredibly frustrating and a nightmare. Negative customer science and I cannot recommend this place as it seems the issues extend beyond the reported seamstress issues. Come if you like to be hot, thirsty, and frustrated while shopping for something that will cost a couple thousand dollars. *** My friend made a few different appointments for me. Some sort of glitch must have happened but only for this shop and none of the other shops. The appointment booked in PT time zone not ET and because it's in Boston... we all only looked at the confirmation and reminder that said 11am. My friend had noticed the time of 11am but that it seemed like the store opened at noon the night before so it was too late to call to check so we got up early after a late night to head over since it was almost an hour away and I'm definitely not a morning person on a weekend. Of course, we get there and it's closed and I call the number on the front door sign and leave a voicemail. We go on a side quest and come back half an hour late hoping to catch someone and stay for awhile before leaving. No luck. We head off for lunch with a friend and I call again around 1230 to figure out what's going on. Voicemail. A bit later they call back and say got your voicemail and don't know but you're not in our book at all for today and the tone was pointed. What? At this point, I'm incredibly frustrated. No apologies to say hey clearly there is a glitch but let's figure it out. Instead, a terse we don't have you in our book at all. Awkward pause. Do you still want to come? Internally, no but I am in need of a dress so I ask what times are available. It was like pulling teeth. She seemed so annoyed and asked me what time I want to come. We eventually schedule an appointment but I already had a bad taste. I drive back an hour from another commitment and arrive a few minutes late. She doesn't even greet me initially. My friend is there and greets me and catches me up that she's been looking at dresses for me to help get me started. She's great. I don't want to be here at this point especially since it felt as if our person was also standoffish. She finally introduces herself but throughout the visit I cannot help but compare her with the other employee helping another bride's mother. The other woman was friendly, encouraging, and had a few suggestions. My experience did not feel friendly. She helped me in and out of a few dresses but did not seem to understand what I was looking for. I didn't find too many things of interest but don't really hold inventory against stores because it can be pretty variable and unpredictable as to what comes in and what gets scooped up by others. During this process though, another bride comes in. She tries dresses on and was directed to stand on podium we were using so I was standing there waiting while I'm not sure what our person was doing. Did they overbook? In any case, the other woman noticed and offers the other bride's podium for us to see how the dress looks. Our person later suggests I can look through what's on the rack so I start flipping through. At this point, she decides to try to engage me in the time issue. I haven't even raised this with her because I'm just trying to sort out my existing frustration that's been further amplified because the place is hot with no air flow. I'm thirsty, tired, and frustrated. She now states that the time issue wasn't on their side as they had us down for a different time. Wtf. Earlier she told us we weren't even in the book. We figure out the time zone issue and she even says I'm not trying to argue with you but it's not on our side. Lol. I've had enough at this point so I say I don't think it's worth is discussing this at this point. I then stop flipping through the dresses and look at my friend and we leave. Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be fun. You're supposed to feel excited and supported not attacked. It's pointless trying to argue with someone who is not trying to solve something with you but trying to blame you. How hard would it have been to say hey clearly something went wrong and let's figure it out together? Anyways, terrible experience. Never coming back. Not recommended. Have been to 4 other places and they were all pleasant to visit even with varying levels of hospitality. Tulle is a place that does it right. I also liked Marry and Tux. They all reached out ahead of time to personally confirm the appointment, ask about vision to start brainstorming on dress matches, and were super friendly. These other places also felt cleaner and nicer.

Despite nearly three weeks advance time, she was notified two days before the appointment that several of her selections weren't available. For this, and for having only a small part of the online options actually in the store, I'm deducting one star. Aside from that, our experience here was great! Her bridal consultant (Ashley?) walked her through the racks pulling out dresses she thought might work, and listening closely to my daughter's likes and dislikes. She did focus mainly on "bridal" options, but my daughter also picked out a few from the less formal "reception" collection that were viable choices. We liked the wide price ranges to pick from to try on, but we're a bit disappointed that there were more polyester and fewer silk dresses in the mix. We (me, mother of the bride and the maid of honor/sister of the bride) appreciated the offer of prosecco at 10:30am! It was so fun watching the consultant cinch and pin the dresses to give us all a sense of how each dress would look. And of course to begin to imagine our baby in any one of these! After the hour & a half appointment, the bride got only a little pressure to buy, and left with a card listing the 2 dresses she really liked and was still considering. Since the wedding shop is housed within a "regular" Anthropologie, on the way out my elder daughter and I stopped to try on options for us - and we each bought the dress we'll be wearing on the big day! What a fun first wedding dress shopping experience!
