Was told they would send a note back to nurse. After an hour (it was now 4:30) I called and asked if I needed to go somewhere else since they stop testing at 4. Her reply - well you didn't say you were sitting here. What?!! I said you told me to be here by 4 and maybe you should ask when someone calls and says that! Note on door says to call and not come in if you have symptoms. If you call don't forget to say "I'm sitting in my car" because they will let you sit there for hours if you don't. Or maybe next time I'll just walk right in! Except there will not be a next time. Never.

She told me that she understood , but then he changed my positive urine lab result to negative-which I later discovered through the patient portal. When I came back to request a correction, the clinic investigated and corrected it promptly. I am satisfied with how the clinic handled the problem, But Dr Destiney Ellis's behavior was completely unethical.

They were quite busy with both families and adults. The RN had a very comforting approach and cared how I was feeling - she did basic checks, then several tests for flu, strep, etc. But, the star was the practitioner Destiney Ellis!! So caring, energetic, and thorough! I don't know how anyone could not appreciate the care they provide - consistently! This review is strictly for the Baptist Urgent Care located on Airport Road (near the Big Lots old…read morelocation). I cannot say enough how thankful I am to the staff and physician on call when this visit took place. My 85yo mother was scratched by the neighbor's dog, which left a small open puncture wound on her leg. Her skin is like paper and terribly thin, so that this issue became a problem as the wound was not clotting. She is on blood thinners for a previous stroke. Her blood loss became problematic and an ER visit was made on this past Sunday. She was lethargic and weak upon arrival. After waiting at CHI St Vincent ER for 4 HOURS w/out being seen, I was advised by staff that she was NOT a priority case! WHAT!! We left soon after and we took her to the Baptist Urgent Care on Airport Road the following day. Robin was so sweet in helping secure a "save my spot" (BTW, this is an amazing feature offerred), and mom was quickly seen by the physician on call. They fixed her up nicely and provided additional bandages/supplies, as well as instructions on care and recovery. You will not be better cared for than at this location! This is the 2nd time we have used this clinic and both times have received outstanding care! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my mom! ​​
