Honestly the staff was amazing and truly cared about their clients and their recovery success, but towards the end of my treatment I ran into issues. They had approved for me to miss programming a few times for school activities that were really important to me being a senior in high school, but then one day when I called in that I wouldn't be at treatment because I had a fever and stayed home from school that day, they told me I was kicked out of the program with absolutely no previous warnings whatsoever and without giving any information to my therapist, the management team made her call to tell me I was kicked out!- like if she has to share the news she should be in the loop as to what's going on as she knew me best out of all of the treatment team!! After complaining they finally allowed me to stay in the program only if I came to programming that day with a FEVER! This is especially unacceptable because the residential program is located in the same building and I could easily infect those clients who are medically especially at high health risk!! In addition, towards the end of my time my dietician made some snarky comments to me when I was struggling to finish a meal and it is also very suspicious as to why the turnover rate with staff is so high at this location! Like staff is constantly changing that at my time there in intensive programming I had 3 different therapists! It was really hard to truly dive deep into the root of my Ed having to constantly start from fresh in therapy. Also during the end of my time there a lot of the therapeutic activities such as art and yoga were taken away for no good reasons! Lastly, this program is tailored to early teens and is really not fitting for the more mature older population that the adolescent facility serves (15-18yrs). Although my experience in the adolescent program was not great, since being in the outpatient program at the Adult Como location I have had an AMAZING experience and truly made huge strives in my recovery!! My treatment team has been amazing at communicating between each other which has ultimately aided so much in my recovery success! The teams and people I have interacted with at the adult program are very experienced, well informed and truly know what they are doing!! As much as I had issues with some parts of the Emily Program, they truly are an amazing company and a leader for research and treatment in the nation! Minnesota is so lucky to have them based here, and since their recent partnership with Veritas Collaborative they are only going to grow and continue to provide exceptional care!

Many of the staff is terrible as well they don't do it with care but just for the love of money I don't recommend this location at all. It's a disgusting pig pen the rooms are not clean either I found toenail clippings all over the floor and rat poop in a cubby as well as they don't clean any space the "burrow" is space in the adult unit and it is messy under the couch you can find a very dirty health risking dust and dirt a "BHT" told me they have never moved the couch to clean. I was baffled. As well as the room I was staying in had a light issue and I did not have a light my whole time there it felt inhumane and just unfair even though I brought up the issue multiple time. This is not a safe sanitary place for anyone.

My review is focusing on the dental clinic. As a staff member at the UMN, it is so convenient here…read more I was able to get a lot of dental work done because of how the staff are friendly, informative and mindfulness of the patient's cost/budget. I have not been to a dentist in decades and they are assisting me to get up to speed in an non-judgemental setting. They also help me majorly when I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed. They were able to get me a necessary referral to get to an oral surgeon. As I was in major pain with my wisdom teeth . I recommend Boynton dental as they have been great to me especially if you are near the UMN campus.

With friendly staff and easy to use services, I've appreciated Boynton's support to students and staff on campus. With my UPlan, I've been able to go get a few vaccinations and a biometric health screening in just a few months. Boynton allows patients to set up appointments over the phone and online, with easy access for students and staff alike. They also have a very easily accessible information area where you enter. Aside from the parking garage, it might be tough to find close parking, but they do have a round about for drop off services. If you ever need something more urgent and serious, the Moos Tower and Mayo Clinic is literally next door.

At the time all was blamed on the billing company which they were leaving. Believed everything was fixed I.e. we were 100% paid up according to their records and we have not had anyone treated there in nearly a year and a half. We're suddenly being billed again. Called their new billing company which could not explain what the bill was for. Called the practice and was promised that someone would call me. After a month that didn't happen, but received a new bill and a note stating that they are leaving the new billing company. Followed up again with practice, they claim no knowledge of my previous call. Now I'll at least get records for what the billing is supposedly for and have to go through my own records to determine if it is real. Person I spoke with informed me that they have up to 6 years to bill for their services.

This clinic is unbelievable. Somebody who wasn't supposed to know about me being a client here…read morefound out because MCP made a clerical error. They disclosed this private health information without my consent. Then they ignored/avoided me when I tried to get an update as to whether the rest of my data was safe. They ignored me until I texted my counselor that I needed an update or I'd report them to the Office of Civil Rights. The OCR is mentioned by name in their privacy policy, which also states, "You will not be retaliated against for bringing a complaint." I got a call the day before a session from. My therapist told me I was being terminating a client "for ethical reasons." I asked what the ethical reason was, because ethical questions are fascinating. She said that someone had just told her in a meeting that I had "threatened to sue." Um, excuse me? The closest thing I said to that was to report them to the OCR, which is:  1) Not the same thing. Not close, either. Professionals in this field should know the difference 2) My legal right 3) The socially responsible thing to, and 4) Mentioned in their own privacy policy as something I may do without being retaliated against It's disturbing to hear someone couch retaliation in terms of ethics, a therapist, no less. "Ethics" isn't a magic word. Using the word doesn't automatically justify one's actions. It's ignorant and sanctimonious to bring up one's ethics after having just finished a lively game of telephone with someone's protected health information. Nobody bothered to double check before they accused me of acting like a crazy person. False accusations hurt. That's really not cool. How stigmatizing. They even cancelled on me with less than 24 hours notice. Do I get to charge them for a late cancellation? The issues I faced here weren't with just one bad apple; multiple people at different times had to make bad call after bad call to make this experience as infuriating as it was. IMO the owners are in this business for the wrong reasons. There's already enough stigma against those who seek therapy- don't support businesses that are part of the problem. There are psychologists out there who are far more deserving of your trust.
