What a great experience! Gary and is wife were wonderful hosts. They both trained our group on how to easily and safely operate the Segways before we went on our Couer d'Alene Food Tour. If you do the food tour, they say to come hungry and they mean it! The restaurant stops were really good with interesting food, drink, and desserts. read more

We had a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and helpful on both pick up and drop off. The bikes were fully charged and functioned perfectly without any issues. This was the highlight of our stay in Coeur d'Alene and we're still talking about it. I'm 67 and my wife is 64. Because of fear of falling, she was apprehensive, but after a well-run training in the parking lot, learned the Segway quickly. She was soon smiling and by the end of the day, was zipping around everyone. Now she wants one for Christmas, no kidding. The owners did an outstanding job of making sure everyone was comfortable with their abilities, handing out hi-viz vests, helmets, bottled water, and intercom with disposable earbuds. We first thought that we'd all stop, listen to the tour guide, and get back on until the next stop. But the narration was constant throughout as we buzzed through neighborhoods and parks. The two-hour tour of Coeur d-Alene covered over nine miles, something that would have been impossible by foot and a lot less tiring. Everywhere we went, people smiled at us in approval. We decided to take the tour on the first day of our visit, since we'd never been to Coeur d'Alene before, and it was a good decision. We went through exclusive neighborhoods, wonderful McEuen Park, past the CDA Resort, through City Park with all it's sculptures, North Idaho University, historic Fort Sherman, down Main St. All while learning the history of the area. Later that afternoon, we retraced some of the tour and spending more time in McEuen Park. We ate at two eateries that were mentioned on the tour, and walked the "world's longest floating boardwalk" at sunset. I'd give them six stars if I could. Highly recommended! read more

Superb customer service! Gary was extremely helpful to our group of 6 who rented e-bikes for 4 hours on 9/15/23. The bikes are in pristine condition, offered a very smooth ride and we were given directions on where to go for amazing views. Touring CDA on a Segway, what a great way to see the sights. My wife and I were apprehensive at first since neither had rode a Segway before. Linda provided us a well informed safety briefing that made our first ride a breeze. We were both surprised and how easy the Segway is to ride. A chance to practice prior to the tour was appreciated. TourCDA takes you on a two hour ride around the sights of Coeur D'alene. Gary leads the tour and provides information about each sight via your own communications headset. We enjoyed the route we took and had no idea how rich in history CDA is. I appreciated the restroom breaks and resting/photo opportunity stops. This is a very reasonably priced tour so if you're in CDA, definitely sign up and enjoy! read more

Fun way to see the town and learn about it! Great tour guide!

I had no idea what we were getting into with this tour, but we were looking for things to do and it was highly recommended to us by my mom's friend. We had a blast!!! The Segways were so much fun and so easy to learn. The couple who run the tour took their time to explain everything and train each of us individually to make sure we were comfortable before heading out. My mom's friend was VERY nervous in the beginning but, by the end, she was asking about bringing a group of her friends back for another tour. We had walked around the small town the entire day prior, so I was a little unsure if we'd learn anything new, but the guide was extremely knowledgeable and showed us several things we never would have seen or noticed on our own. The tour moved along at the perfect pace and never dragged (giving short breaks every so often). I was very impressed and I'd love to bring back other family and friends to experience it for themselves. Wonderful bang for your buck! read more

My wife and I were visiting from California. This was one of the best city tours I have ever done. Linda started off with Segway operations which were great for us virgin riders. They did a step by step orientation process until everyone was comfortable. They have a large parking lot which allowed plenty of safe space to practice. Gary did our tour. His knowledge of Coeur d'Alene history was amazing. We learned so much about this beautiful city and made our visit a much better experience. Thank you Gary and Linda!!! read more

We've never had a Segway experience and we're excited to try. SO MUCH FUN. The hosts took us all over the city with lots of info about the buildings, homes, beach areas etc.... We have been on other Segway tours, but this was by far the best. Gary and Linda were excellent. Gary led the tour and we were out a full 2 hours. He took us through the city and was very knowledgeable about the buildings and the history of Coeur d'Alene. There were several stops where we could take pictures and Gary took pictures and videos of us. The pictures and videos will be emailed to us as a momento of our activity. One nice feature of the tour was we were provided with an earpiece which allowed us to clearly hear Gary's descriptions as we went along. We would definitely do this tour again and recommend it to anyone looking for an activity in Coeur d'Alene read more

Everything about the day went great. We had booked a group of six for the 10am Segway Tour. I had never ridden a Segway and my wife had ridden once about five years ago. Obviously I was a bit nervous but my nerves were soon gone. Started with a very comprehensive demonstration and then plenty of practice in their lot learning how to operate the Segway. Helmets, safety vests, water bottles, and a communications earpiece were provided. We then went on a city tour with the owner Gary leading and commentating over our earpieces with a second employee following for safety. The headsets were very helpful as we could hear the touristy commentary but Gary would warn us about traffic, give directions, etc. Bottom line we had a blast! Several of us joked about buying Segways as they were so much fun and when traveling other places we will seek out Segway tour operators. After the tour we walked 2 blocks to Rustic BBQ for lunch. One of my group has been a award winning competition BBQer and he said it was some of the best he has ever had. After lunch 3 of us returned to CDA tours and rented very nice E-Bikes. I got pretty spoiled going up hills Just by pushing the throttle button. We rode about 15 miles along the lake shore which is spectacularly scenic. We had time left on our bike rental but had to drop them off early due to a personal issue. The bikes were like new in great condition and were equipped with flashing lights and loud horns and of course it included a bike helmet and more water. Each bike had a rack with a small tail bag where you could put your keys, phone, etc and maybe wad up a light windbreaker. They had men's and ladies bikes and even had a small trailer available to carry a child or small pet. read more
