However, we have been back to a couple of them since, and had a great experience. The tour host, Tim, did a great job of leading the tour, explaining the food we were going to be sampling, and providing stories about the businesses and Coeur d'Alene in general. It was nice to get together with a group of people we had never met, and share the experience of trying something new. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to just spend an enjoyable afternoon trying out some great places to eat.

If you do not like being next to the freeway, this campground is not for you. It did not bother us. We also take advantage of their half off rates during September. Thank you Wolf Lodge for that. Next, the campground has a lot of activities which we were not able to take advantage of. We were visiting friends in CDA and spent most of our time with them. I wish we had time borrow a canoe, hike and use the sauna. We had site number 12 a pull through with full hook ups. It is an end unit and we enjoyed it. The campsites in the center row have you facing the backside of another camper and it's hook ups. There are pull thrus, back in sites, tent sites, and adorable log cabins for rent. All sites come with a picnic table. There is a lot of shade. We felt very safe and even left our bicycles outside of our RV overnight.

This campground was incredibly clean, the sites were spacious, and there were so many activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. The young staff were some of the friendliest people we've met--welcoming, helpful, and always smiling. Our only complaint? We wish we'd planned to stay longer!

A Stand Alone Resort along Coeur d'Alene Lake…read more SITREP North Shore is a terrific stop in Coeur d'Alene. The hotel rooms are very nice, but the resort also plays host to many local businesses, restaurants, and galleries. THE SETUP If you are traveling through the panhandle of Idaho, you owe it to yourself to stop in and at least catch a bite to eat and check out the business community that falls under the auspices of the North Shore Resort. THE LOWDOWN A great stop on Coeur d'Alene Lake.

Nice campground, very busy holiday weekend! Day 2 has begun for us! Very close camp sites, nice…read moreneighbors (not everybody goes to bed between 9 & 10 ). Bathroom and showers were very close to our campsite. The camp fire set up was great as well! Have yet to get to the swimming pool or hiking but we will! Bit chilly today 22 degrees cooler than yesterday but still nice! Feels great! Make sure to book Camp Coeur d'Alene campground as your next outdoor adventure!

We only went there to rent a two person kayak and the lady helping us out was very nice and…read morefriendly. The beach area is nice and big with plenty of room for the kids to play. And the docks are nice and clean with plenty of room to fish off. When we come back up to Spirit Lake next year we'll spend the day here
