THIS IS THE BEST CORTADO I'VE EVER HAD…read more Day 6 has been on my list for quite some. Upon arrival, I was met with excellent music and a warm greeting. Once I reached the counter, the gentleman helped me with selecting a coffee and even answered a few clarifying questions I had about ingredients. I got 2 cortados (I drank the first one so fast that I needed another one), a vanilla latte (sweet but balanced), and two croissants (almond and chocolate). My friends got a cheesecake latte (cupcake dominant and didn't have enough cookie butter flavoring), a white mocha hot chocolate (pretty good), and a blueberry muffin (amazingly soft, flavorful, and balanced). All together, I'll be coming back much more often!!!

I also tried one of their muffins, and it was absolutely delicious. Another 5/5! The only thing that disappointed me was the coffee. I asked the barista for a recommendation and specifically mentioned that I wanted a coffee that wasn't too sweet. She recommended a drink, and I trusted her suggestion. Unfortunately, when I tried it, it was much sweeter than I was expecting. I understand recommendations are subjective, so I don't blame anyone,it just wasn't what I was looking for. Because of that, I'd give the coffee 1/5. It simply wasn't to my taste. Overall, the great service and delicious muffin were definite highlights, but the coffee experience brought my overall rating down to 3/5.

I also tried their mango matcha and it actually wasn't too sweet. It was an interesting mix.

I much prefer the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. To the people who bought this place, I know your motto is "different is better," but please stop taking that so literally. You do not have to change every aspect of this place to make it different. The best thing about getting your everyday local coffee is seeing the same baristas you've seen over and over again, familiar faces who know you by name. This was one of those places where I'd hate to admit how much money I've spent here, and I did it happily. In just three weeks, our beloved spot, one I would willingly drive out of my way for, has gone so far downhill that I barely recognize it. From the eyesore taco warmer that practically knocks you in the face while you're ordering, replacing a space that once showcased lovely things like fresh flowers and local trinkets, to the disappearance of the wonderful local treats from Sinfull Bakery that kids genuinely enjoyed. At first I thought maybe you were just out, but after three weeks it became clear that expenses were being cut across the board and those items may never come back. And where do I even begin. The new oat milk is terrible. It completely changes the look and taste of the coffee and is immediately noticeable. I won't harp on the change of hours or the change in flavor of your coffee beans, but I feel it must be mentioned because, well, it's noticeable. And now the cleanliness. Spilled taco sauce all over the floor, and when your kid points it out, you know you're in trouble at that point. Dishes piled so high they're overflowing, dirty restrooms. And to be clear, this isn't the staff's fault, there is simply not enough staff to keep up with these things. Never ever in seven years of being a frequent visitor has it been this bad. I also noticed the new coffee packaging, and it's just another reminder that the heart and thoughtfulness that once defined this place are gone. At this rate I half expect robots handing me my latte in a few weeks so you can save a few more bucks. And getting rid of Toast. Even if Toast was an expensive platform to use, it was legitimately so convenient. And dang, if you're going to do away with it, don't replace it with the worst possible ordering system ever, one that doesn't even work. Do you know how many orders I wouldn't have placed if it weren't for Toast? Toast made those orders possible when I didn't have time to wait. Without it, I simply wouldn't have ordered. I understand times are tough for many businesses, but you all were booming. The new online ordering system doesn't work. You may as well do away with it altogether because this one just isn't it. Honestly, I am devastated. You knocked it out of the park in every area, cleanliness, service, food. I never had a single bad item on the menu. The coffee was beyond. When my family moved out of the city a year and a half ago, I still drove 35 minutes one way just to get your food and coffee, over an hour round trip again and again. I don't think you understand how this new direction has driven this place into the ground in a matter of three weeks. Sadly all good things must come to an end.

The pandan was sweet as expected but if you've never had pandan that might catch you off guard. The ube was so yummy. Definitely coming back! Worth the wait. Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed but got our orders relatively quickly after a short wait. Would maybe recommend more seating? But enough room to stand and wait.

I was there around 9:50p on 8/25/2020 to relieve some sweet tooth. It's been awhile that i have been here since the pandamic. We ordered 2 cakes & 1 milk tea. The price came out to be 0.50 more than the menu. I called it out, during check out, but the cashier (manager) just said they're updating the menu and the price is $5. I wanted them to honor the price of the menu, but since it was a date, I let it go and just purchased it. After reviewing my receipt, i also saw the "HIDDEN CHARGES" of "COVID SURCHARGE", thats when I couldn't let it go. I had to bring it up to the manager's attention. Manager's name is DANNY, DANIEL (He had yellow hair with clear pink round glasses). I brought up the issue that they should at least honor the price on the menu. All he kept saying was that they were updating the menu and the price is shown on the POS system. The price is different. I stated that at least the first thing he should do is apologize. AND GUESS WHAT HE SAID.. He stated " I'M NOT GOING TO APOLOGIZE AND WILL NOT HONOR THE $4.50. I APOLOGIZE IT COMES OUT TO BE DIFFERENT BUT I'M NOT GOING TO APOLOGIZE TO YOU" ... Yes. He said he was the GENERAL MANAGER. What a WORTHLESS GENERAL MANAGER because he has no authority to do anything. He told me i could EMAIL info@toutsuite to file a complaint. I was very upset... and obviously he couldn't understand so I gave him an ANALOGY so he could comprehend WHY I'M SO ANGRY OVER THE STUPID $0.50. It's like going to a McD, and ordering a hamburger that said $5 on the MENU, and you get to the check out and they say its $6 because they didn't have time to update the menu.. His response was "Oh well, i still can't do anything for you". TILL THE LAST MOMENT HE DIDN'T APOLOGIZE EVEN THO I ASKED HIM TO AT LEAST APOLOGIZE TO ME. THIS PLACE IS BADDDD BUSINESS. OWNERS SANDY TRAN AND ANNE LE . GET YOUR TEAM TOGETHER AND YOU GUYS NEED TO RETRAIN AND REPLACE THE MANAGERS. This is crazy that they are charging more than what is stated on their menu. for the COVID SURCHARGE.. ok it's tough time for everybody but don't hide it !! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! My boyfriend and I haven't stopped coming here since they opened a week ago. I usually grab an iced vanilla latte before work, and they serve Greenway my favorite! My favorite dinner item is the fresh farm pick. I get steak, corn, and cilantro rice. My favorite snack item is the mac and cheese. My boyfriends favorite is the steak sandwich with suite fries. I also really appreciate that they have separated recycle bins, and most of the products they use are eco friendly. This place also has a very warm and cozy feeling at night. Which is perfect for a date, or a late night study shesh (they're open till midnight). Speaking of studying, they have these large tables for shared seating, outlets are everywhere, and there is wifi. People that are experiencing slow service probably go while they are super busy during the weekends. We drove past Tout sunday morning, and the lines were out of BOTH doors! Long lines mean a long wait, people that have worked in the food industry sometimes are more understanding. My advice is to go during a weekday evening, or morning if possible! Terrible service and rude behavior! We visited this place this afternoon at 3 PM and ordered a two smoothies and an acai protein bowl and a cup of tea. Of course the tea was served fast. Then the wait started. At 3:25 PM, we had to enquire about our order and they served the smoothies. We were still waiting for the acai bowl and they said it is still being prepared at 4 PM,. On our way out after patiently waiting for an hour we asked if we could just cancel the order. As the person in our group who had put the order on her credit card had left for another meeting, they said we could not cancel. They had even made a mistake in the order. At that point one server behind the counter who claimed he was the manager exhibited extremely rude and low-level behavior. Instead of owning up to the poor service, he said there was a glitch and he did not have time to talk and we should leave! I am complaining to the management/owners about this particular individual. What kind of employees do they hire ! I would have given a 0 star rating, if one was available in the rating system. read more

I have visited this place for lunch and I was really disappointed in the service I received from the manager, Alyssa. I ordered a half grilled cheese sandwich with a Caesar salad and did not like the way it tasted. I proceeded to the counter to ask if I could exchange it for a different sandwich and was willing to pay for the difference. The first girl I spoke with at the counter said it would not be a problem to switch sandwiches then, Alyssa came up and said something completely different. She told me how "it was not their problem" that I did not like the sandwich and that they do not exchange food. She did not even give the option of a refund, she was just blatantly rude to me and showed no empathy. Even after my friends received their food, no one came to me to make sure the situation was resolved even though I had talked to several staff members. Before we left, I did finally receive a refund for my sandwich and asked for your information because I do not feel that any customer should be treated in the way that I was today. read more

earlier today i came here hoping to try something new and yummy since so far everything ive had in the past had been good (their macarons and teas) i ordered the mango passion, s'mores pot de creme, and the aloe vera, orange, & cayenne tonic water which was about $15 the mango passion was good but it wasn't something i would come back for it had cream cheese under the layer of glaze which made the dessert too rich i was hoping that the dessert would have had a mousse like texture but instead it was sort of hard/sticky overall it still had the fruity taste of passion and mango that i was looking for as for the s'mores pot de creme, this was very disappointing all i tasted was extremely dry crumbles of graham crackers and lots of sweetness from the marshmallow cream i would never order this again lastly the tonic water was awful all i could taste was cayenne and a hint of orange definitely not worth ordering at all i don't think i would ever come back to tout suite for desserts again read more

First time visiting, I was on a team lunch with coworkers. I had no idea what to expect other than it was a "very hipster" type of spot. I wasn't disappointed in that regard. The atmosphere is very hipster, so consider yourself warned, but the staff is extremely friendly and not at all stuffy or unconcerned. They went out of their way to be helpful about explaining the menu options and helping me get inside the bathroom (I was confused). I ordered the hanger steak frites and a tiramisu cupcake. The hanger steak is the only reason this review is short a star. It was not great. Tough with not much flavor that the sprig of rosemary didn't help. The fries (aka frites) were fine, and the cupcake was one of the best things I've ever had in my mouth. EVER. It was seriously delicious. Not too sweet, light, velvety goodness. This coffee shop leans into a hipster, industrial vibe--very casual with a stylish edge. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were polite, helpful, and welcoming. If i could rate them 0 stars i would. Food is not the best. The female managers attitude sucks and to top it off, I witnessed them fire a young girl who seemed to have done nothing wrong, and when she tried to sit and wait for her ride, they banned her and kicked her out to sit outside in the cold. Might i add that there were some sketchy individuala outside. The girl looked no more like 17-18 years old. Shame on them for treating a young person and a LADY at that like that. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They do not know how to treat or talk to people. Especially that female manager. Ive heard her belittle the workers and treat them horribly. Go to this place is you want to experience basically what it was like in highschool with bullies and gossip. read more

The atmsphere is very welcming and relaxing. I had the chicken and waffles; the chicken was cked t abslute perfectin. The crust n the chicken had just the right amunt f seasning and the chicken was juicy and tasteful. Fr dessert, I sampled the peanut butter tart and the S'mres in a pt. Bth were amazing. They were s cute and delicately put tgether. The presentatin was tpped ff with glden magic. The beautiful masterpiece was met with phenmenal flavrs. The peanut butter tart had sme srt f chclate mse inside which paired up perfectly with the crunch that came with the small peanut butter pie tucked in underneath. I used to be a fan of this place and today happened to be in the area. I went in with my family and apparently the cashier was new and made several mistakes in our order. Kindly I asked for my food to be warmed up and for our missing latte to be prepared since it was missing (due to the cashier). Someone who called herself manager, but after doing some research found out it was the owner, was very rude and lacked customer service. I'm so disappointed that a local shop would treat their clients this way. I tend to go local, but after today, I won't ever visit this place again. Terrible management! there is a video circling around on the internet of one of your managers firing an employee for having PTSD. in the video, the manager yells at the employee and tells her that she is no longer hired by Tout Suite and that she "uses her PTSD as a crutch." VERY VERY unprofessional, ableist, and rude. i will never spend my money at this establishment, and from other reviews, i don't think i'd want to. TO OTHER CUSTOMERS / PERSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS/PTSD : find a better place where the management will treat you and others with the same issues as real people, not nuisances. read more

This place is about 40 minutes from house , and I would drive that long to get one of their Acai bowls .Never again!! The service has become so poor is not worth it. 4 people behind the counter to pick up a to go order ( which was ready ) and not one of the employees acknowledge us , after 15 minutes of waiting , I walked to the other side and the person there told me to return to where I was standing and someone would help me. Then waited some more. Thy need to hire more responsible adults , the lack of customer service and care will bring them down the toilet. read more

I always come there with children. They like this place very much and me too. It has a good location for us. The pastries they sell are very tasty and always fresh. But I can not tell such good words about the juice. It is not very good, as for me. The place is clean and looks stylish. The workers are clever, friendly and polite. Speaking about prices, I would say that they are not very low, but I want my children spend good time and it is not a problem for me to pay much money for that. This is the place has a pretty expensive price for their dishes, but as things turned out pretty worthy of it. I was here at the past weekend with my girlfriend and we were welcomed nice staff. There is good menu and if you can't fast to make choice like me, waiters ready to help it. We ordered cupcakes and it was both good in taste and appearance. It was our first time there, but I think to come back and to research their menu more exactly and will try others dishes. After a lot of press and hype I finally checked this place out. The space is very well built out minus the Formica tabletops (should have gone with repurposed wood) and use of the old building. Staff was friendly. Ordered the avocado toast and the migas. Both were good, would say the toast being the better choice if we had to choose. Coffee was the reason for the two stars. It was horrible, way too bitter. We had a almond mocha and a cortado. The mocha was undrinkable. If not for the coffee would have given three stars for sure. read more

I really like the fact that everything is freshly made around here. The coffee is superb, and it's simply a great place to have brunch with the girlfriends. yes the service is slow, but it's because they MAKE the food for you, not only unàckage it. It's fine by me, as long as the quality is good. And with them I really can't complain much. It is slightly overbudget for me, but I try to come here once every couple of months in order to enjoy some quality time with friends, or simply a coffee. The Mocha is a must try! read more

Tout Suite is this place to go for great food, good coffee, and excellent customer service. Tout Suite offers unique, yet cozy environment for those looking to enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book or get work done. The staff are incredibly welcoming. Jarvis Braziel is awesome, incredibly helpful, and so kind! This place is delicious! I was visiting my sister in Houston, and she suggested that we go here for breakfast and she couldn't have picked a better place. The avocado toast was delicious and the coffee bean roast was perfect, not too acidic, like most breakfast places. I am giving this business a 1 star because they are the same owners and management of the Space HTX. The owner called my phone harassing me after I left a negative review on Yelp. I told her I was in class and she insulted my intelligence by saying "oh you're getting an education". The event Manager Shawna Noriega will harass you and your guest to no end. This location has a fairly spacious interior to sit and work or enjoy a bite to eat and is just a block off of the MetroRail red line (Bell Station stop). They also have rotating daily specials and half off of cocktails every day after 5pm for happy hour ($4 espresso martini, yes please!) Ok, sounds great, right? Since I used to frequent their EaDo location quite a bit, I have several gift cards that I have collected over the years. These were purchased online on their website however when I tried to use them at this location, they said that I could not. They have three locations under their brand - Tout Suite (the former EaDo and Trebly) and Sweet, however apparently each has a separate payment system from Square to Toast, etc and they do not overlap. The gentleman behind the counter did offer to make me a complementary beverage for the inconvenience but this was definitely disappointing. I recall specifically that there was not an option to select the location when purchasing the gift cards online.

Not quite sure what to expect, I was pleased to see that it's completely plant-based including the pastries and no extra plus charge for alternative milks (praise!) I ended up ordering their pistachio latte which had a really rich, bold espresso note and a sweet cardamom finish at the bottom of the cup. I would definitely get this again but might try to stir it before drinking for a more even flavor distribution. In terms of the setting, there's lots of small tables and couches to work and study with either a small group or alone. They also have a back patio with additional seating, board games, and even a printer which can be hard to find in this day and age. Overall the vibe is relaxed and casual. Finally, while I had to wait about 30 minutes to order and receive my drink, I had some time to watch their workflow and would offer some suggestions for improvement to speed up their service. The staff all clearly put a lot of care into preparing each drink and were doing the best they could to move quickly, but the layout of the back counter area is fairly inefficient. To start, the ice well for cold drinks is on the complete opposite side of the register away from their espresso machines. This added a lot of steps for the staff to prepare iced coffee drinks. Secondly, the straws were also quite a reach for the staff across the counter, also by the ice well. Finally, the order retrieval process is not the best. There are no names written on the cups and customers are sometimes in the bathroom or outside on the back patio when their order is ready. It can be hard for the staff to locate the right customer or if the drink gets left on the counter, it's hard to know what it is and who it is for. Overall, a pleasant (plant-based!) discovery but hoping they might consider a few steps (pun intended) to reduce the strain on their staff.

My partner (a former barista) and I came in today, about a week after they first opened as we enjoy exploring new coffee shops. What we were met with is a very clean, very nice and casual vibe without the pretentiousness that attaches itself to other coffee shops under similar pedigree. You can come here to get work done, or chat and catch up with some friends and the music won't be blasting in your ear to skyrocket your caffeinated anxiety towards the stars. It is new, so not as crowded as Agora down the street. There's also a nice little back alley if you prefer a more private environment! The service is also good, with the barista looking like he stepped out of a GQ catalog and has a fashion walk after he gets off. Older, recently divorced suburban moms, do what you will with this information. Jokes aside, it is always nice to not get blank stares when you ask about the menu. The coffee is good for what it is. We both opted for the Dulce de Leche Latte, which has caramel sauce + condensed milk, served either hot or cold and we both went with cold. You can definitely taste the espresso and the condensed milk, and although light in color, wasn't overtly milky nor terribly sweet, but sweet enough for those looking for something sweet. I found the coffee enjoyable and while not a particular fave for my partner, it is good enough and we will be back to try the other drinks. I also ordered a Baklava, and to be honest with you, I didn't like it as much as I hoped. I love a good Baklava, but this one I found to be a bit on the dry side, and maybe too dense of a filling, but that's really just preference. At the end of the day, I enjoyed the atmosphere and how the drink tasted, plus the drinks were reasonably priced. Especially upon walking into the restroom and realizing there's a bidet. You know places love to charge more for butt cleaning. We will likely be back!
