There are some good ones and there are some poor ones. Timeless Treasures is on the above average side of the fence. To be perfectly honest, there is SOOO much stuff in this shop that it can be overwhelming to browse. For me, it was that and I got a wee bit discombobulated by the sheer amount of product that they have. Now ... that's not to say that it isn't worth going to or isn't worth searching around; it's just that there is a lot to look through. Unfortunately, it is not very well organized and is extremely cluttered. When I have more time to look around and see what I can see, I will come back and take my time going through the aisles and shelves and tables. One display, up front, that I was particularly interested in (and I have a picture included to show part of it) was the baseball card collection and binder! Growing up, I collected hundreds of baseball cards and loved looking through them and memorizing the stats of my favorite players. Their ginormous binder of cards brought back many fond memories for me!! :-) With owners/managers that are extremely friendly & kind and prices that are reasonable & fair, I do recommend Timeless Treasures to anyone that has time to look through their stock and an eye for that "treasure" that strikes your fancy! We were barely acknowledged as we wandered through the labyrinthine collection, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as we didn't come in with anything in mind. Most objects were clearly labeled with a price, although I struggled to find tags on some of the books I was perusing in the upstairs area, which could be better organized, honestly; I found a few semi-intriguing titles scattered throughout, but they were not grouped together in any meaningful way, as far as I could tell, turning the whole process into a scavenger hunt. All that being said, this is probably the most exhaustive collection of antiques (sans furniture) in Centralia, so if you're up for excavating your way through layers of yesteryear's treasures, this is your best bet in the area!

I have to say without question, that the Centralia Square Antique store is in the former category --- it is worth it! The owners/employees are friendly and easy to talk to. When it comes to antique stores, this place has to be one of the most organized, tidy, and well-kept shops I have ever been to! Each section of the monstrously large store is clean and easy to look at. There is virtually no clutter and the items for sale are in good quality. One of my favorite things about it, is that there is a huge amount of variety throughout the store. Everything from furniture, to toys, to jewelry, artwork, music/records, comics, décor ... you name and they probably got it. The only thing that's keeping me from giving it that fifth star are the prices. While the majority of items for sale are of good quality, the prices are a wee bit steep for an antique/used items store - not the bargain that you'd like to find. Still, all things considered, I would recommend stopping in and take a look. If they think it might be a collectable they look it up on eBay and base a price off that. Blessings thrift store needs to realize that eBay is a International market with millions of buyers not a Tiny town in the middle of no where. Stemware for 10 cents (why is there no cents sign on my computer, clearly not a cheapskate computer) Curling irons for 50 cents! Is anyone elses respiration increasing? Shirts, 50 cents, pants for less than a dollar! I can't stand it. Jewelry, all sorts of stuff priced to drive a cheapskate nuts. Secondly, the ladies who volunteer there are also very nice, I like them even more because they are the ones who price the stuff. Now, for you poor individuals who live in Seattle this is no easy drive. It is off of exit 68, then go 20 miles east down Highway 12 into Salkum to get to this little gem of a place, right next to Salkum market. But if you ever camp out this way, stop in. It is so worth the short drive. The owners are a couple. One of them paints, makes collages and upcycles some of their wares. His art tickles me. I buy the postcards with abandon. The owner was so friendly and informative about everything in her store and events happening in town that she thought we might be interested in. She even showed my daughter how to waltz and was so nice and friendly talking about different ways to make the steps fancier. She had a wide variety of items there was four of us in our group and we each found a few things that we love. We were shocked at the prices as we have seen similar items priced a lot more and the quality of the items in the store was very nice. This store is going on our permanent every time int town visit (as we live out of state).
