It has taken me some time to write this review as neutral as I can. If I could give a negative star…read morereview I would, in short, this location will overcharge you for every single thing. If you are a female, beware of Richard, he will price gouge you and then make you feel like an idiot if you ask questions. I looked online for a mechanic that specialized in repairing VW's and Power Auto came up as a five star for VW repairs, so I decided to take it there rather than the mechanic our family normally uses... bug mistake. I spoke with Richard and gave him a laundry list of items I wanted to get checked out. He wrote down everything as a separate line item which isn't to out of the ordinary, but I noticed that each line item on the estimate had a $145 charged attached to it. Since this was an estimate, I thought nothing of it at the time since estimates aren't a promise to do work and numbers will change once the inspections are complete. There was a total of six $145 charges FYI, and the total estimate came out to $2,297.53 which seemed high but not overly outrageous not knowing what problem the vehicle had prior to inspection. So, two days pass and no word from Richard so I called to get an update on the status of the inspection and what he found... Richard indicated that repairs were underway and that he would most likely have the vehicle ready in a couple of days. I thought this was strange because I was waiting to hear what he found and what he was going to repair and what the total cost was going to look like based on his inspection. He gave assurances and indicated he would call if he had any updates...I felt pressured into just saying ok. Richard did call in one instance regarding air filters on the vehicle during the repair but that was the only call I received prior to his call letting me know my vehicle was ready. When I went down to pick up my vehicle the estimate was converted to an invoice in the amount of $2,366.92 which was higher than the estimate. Upon further review of the Invoice by my husband I was basically charged for a tune-up, oil change, AC recharge, air filter change, greasing of door hinges, trunk shocks, and the changing of a taillight bulb. My husband called to discuss the charges in detail and Richard obfuscated and stuck to the charge amounts. One of the main issues I brought the vehicle in for wasn't even taken care of it still has the issue. Richard said he couldn't duplicate the issue.... I was able to duplicate it immediately, I believe they didn't address it or just forgot about it but didn't forget to charge me $145 charge. Things to be aware of; The $145 charge is an hourly inspection labor fee...we had six of them, line items I indicated earlier. If there is something you can fix, they will not make that recommendation and charge you thru the teeth (ex. $62 charge to grease door hinges using dirty finger grease from God knows where. Air filter removal and replace for $69.60 on $20 parts. Check on a light sensor for airbag $145 labor charge. Labor charge for spark plug replacement $208.80. Shifter button repair that was only glued on crooked $72.50 labor charge.) There was no prior call before service; there was no new price estimate as a result of the inspection; and no prior approval for service request. Labor costs are out of control and the excuse given was that cost all around were going up and that they had employees to pay and rent to pay. If you have money to burn and don't care about cost or the quality of the repairs being made to your vehicle, this is the place for you.

I showed up a couple of hours later and my tire was replaced within 15 minutes. $40 cash out the door. Even though the tire was used, it is still in very good condition. I will definitely give them a call when I'm ready to replace a 4 tires. I wish I got the gentlemans name who helped me. He was very professional and friendly.
