Follow up calls and still no update on tow provider after 6 hours. I contacted a shop in Santa Clarita and was referred to LM Towing Service. I called LM and they indicated they were dispatching a truck. The tow truck arrived and rescued me from the middle of nowhere. Thanks to Larry as my RV was towed to the shop in Santa Clarita. I won't take my vehicles to anything other than AAA rated mechanic. Please don't take your car to anyone other than AAA rated or a dealership. However, dealerships are always twice the price. It's less expensive to go through in an accredited, and certified mechanic. rather than the dealership. Dealerships usually charge much more than accredited mechanics. I brought my truck in 2034, and there was a warranty dispute between the Warranty company and the dealership I bought the truck from. To make a long story short FMC fought and got my Warranty on my truck approved. The warranty company denied the work. But they fought and got me the alternator on my truck paid for without expense for my pocket. Like I said, it's a really long story. I explained to them that my car over heats quick because the radiator doesn't hold the coolant as I already checked. Asked them a couple of times to check the radiator and around it in case of anything being broken THAT I CAN'T SEE since I was at work the day prior. They instead wanted to do a pressure test when I literally told them to check the radiator. Going to get my car back since it's like $280 for a pressure test. I myself work on my own cars but I rarely go to shops all the time since who knows what bs might go on. The one thing I look for in shops is honesty and listening to customers. I'm sure when I get my car back they'll tell me there are dozens of things wrong like a water pump going (I replaced it since the freeze plug broke). If I had my own shop I would have been making sure the customers are satisfied and not willing to wait a couple days to hear back about a car that was brought in. These guys don't even seem to know what they are doing btw. I've been taught how to work on cars ever since I was 8 which is what got me into this in the first place. To everyone else just go somewhere you know that is reliable. I'm better off taking it to 360 auto since they heard and wanted to take a look at everything before writing on it and listened to what I had to say.
