I've stayed at other La Quintas, this is the worst. I picked this hotel for the pool and breakfast…read more I also saw great reviews, i don't see what others saw. We went on a family road trip so this would be a good stop for the night. My daughters were looking forward to going swimming on a hot summer day. Well, the pool is small and there was a lot of people there. My girls could not go swimming. This is a small town and nothing to do so we stayed in our room. But there's a smell in this hotel like maybe it's been flooded? Not sure. the AC was not working in my room, I let it run for a few hours hoping it would cool down but by 10 called the front desk. I decided to just stay in that room because I didn't want to move all of our things (I realized had a lot of items, including cold items). However, when we started getting ready for bed, we realized the bed sheets were not been changed. I asked for another room. The 2nd room smelled worst than the first and it took about an hour for the room to start getting cool. At this point it was passed 11, I just wanted to get some rest so i gave up and tried to get some sleep. The next morning we woke up early to eat a la Quinta breakfast and get in the pool before it got packed then get on the road. Well, they only served cold items. Nothing hot; no scrambled eggs or waffles. I was done. We grabbed some toast, boiled eggs and yogurt. Also, if a spotless restroom is a deal breaker for you, don't stay here. Such a disappointment!
