I've gone back and forth with how I feel about this company. I'm going to replay the experience up…read moreuntil now and let you decide if you would want to work with them. Spoke with Damion on the phone, set up a time to meet on Saturday, which he agreed to. I made plans around that meeting and he canceled that day. We met another time in which I was able to give him the security deposit. Fast forward to move-in day. It was snowing and I had my father and brother come from out of town (Dad came from Salem, MA). I already gave Damion the security deposit and made the first month's payment online. A confirmation number was sent to me and the money was withdrawn from my account. Standing in the kitchen with Damion, my brother, and Father, he insisted I get a cashiers check. We agreed to meet at the Walmart down the road where I waiting in line over an hour to get the check. It was Dinner time and starting to get dark (Uhaul was sitll full..). After walking out of Walmart I don't see Damion. I call him and he tells me to meet him another 20min away because "I have four wheel drive" (in a dickish tone) - I meet him, give him the check and go back to the place to unload the uhaul. After unloading it came to our attention that the furnace hasn't been turned on, nor has the yard been picked up as we agreed. The company did credit me $150 for not following through on the yard clean-up. Next I was told to measure the air filter for Damion which I found extremely inappropriate. However, I did end up doing it. So that was all a month into the process. Now it's May, about 4 months into the lease and I have taken the liberty of doing yard cleanup (leaves, twigs, etc.) and also removed a large pile of trash (rusty metal, glass, even diapers..). I didn't feel comfortable with my dog using the area in that condition. I left this in a pile by the road for pick-up as per Damion's instruction. It's been a week and the only person that showed up wanted to see if there was anything of value (I could've saved him the time and tell him there wasn't). I've never met the owner before but from what I see, Pro Property Management's only function is dealing with the lease paperwork and taking payment. They did help me replace the dryer in the unit but they knew it was broken before I moved in and it was far from simple.. What do you think? Would you guys be happy with them? -**Response to Adrianne** - The clean-up then, and the clean-up now are different. If I was the landlord, I would be ecstatic that the tenant cleaned up some garage. See the picture as reference. I don't think it's fair to say you understand my frustration, because frankly you're not it.. I already sent a copy of this review to your email and not sure what else there is to discuss.

If you're looking for the best property manager for your home, look no further.  Alida at…read moreWanderlust is amazing! I've been renting out my newly built vacation home on Airbnb since October 2020. My first year was a very frustrating experience with a different property management company and I almost stopped the short term rentals. I switched to Wanderlustny in October 2021 and can only give the highest praise for every aspect of their work.  Alida provides a high level of service and ensures that both the owner and the guests have the best rental experience.  She communicates frequently with guests before, during and after their stay and goes the extra mile to make their stay a 5-star experience.  For example, when a recent guest at my house mentioned they were celebrating a birthday, she took it upon herself to get cupcakes and a birthday card to welcome them on arrival and got them a reservation at a restaurant they were not able to get themselves.  She always looks for current events and compiles a list with must-sees and best places to eat/drink for the area. For the home owner, Alida makes sure the house is in perfect condition before and after any short term rental. Whereas the typical property manager does a quick and superficial walk through, Alida takes her time to thoroughly inspect the house and grounds and communicates frequently about anything she notices. When rentals are slower, she promotes my property on social media and handles pricing adjustments to increase rentals during off seasons. Alida stacks her team with the best local contractors so issues can be fixed quickly if needed. She develops a great report with cleaning crews but also supervises their work and has them come back to fix items they might have missed.  With Alida of Wanderlustny I have zero concern about renting out my house. I just wish I had found her sooner and saved myself a lot of headaches!

She helped me find all sorts of resources that I needed for my house in the Catskills, when I couldn't get anyone to even call me back. Most of all, I can trust her judgment, which provides invaluable peace of mind. The best.

I told him that our budget was $2k and that we needed something that was pet friendly, and he immediately said "I have the perfect property" and handed me off to a someone named Jason. We saw the property and were ready to move on it! I asked Jason if he thought we could finalize in the next week and he said "it shouldn't be a problem." For the next four weeks, it was a terrible experience. Day after day, week after week, it was a different story that was delaying finalizing the lease. He said that the owner was being "stubborn," the owner held out for a buyer who would pay more (even though he previously told me not to worry because they weren't showing it anyone else), the owner didn't want a dog on the property, the broker is too busy to send the lease and prioritized ppl who were buying.... he kept on telling me that I "had to be patient or would ruin the deal." All this while, Jason knew that our urgency was because I was five months pregnant and we were trying to secure something ASAP so that we could make plans with doctors/ hospitals nearby, not to mention we had a hard deadline on our move and I needed an address to send to our movers. After a couple of days short of a month, the lease finally came and the terms we agreed on weren't there. We responded the next day with our concerns. Jason said no worries and that we would get the new lease in two days. That came and went. I called Jason, he said to give it a few more days. It took another week to receive the revised lease and they demanded that we sign it within 24 hrs (this is after the broker Lindsay took one week to make a change that might have taken 2-3 minutes). Needless to say, we chose to work with another realty group. After I communicated our decision to the broker Lindsay, she apologized and said that this is not the way that they run their business. I appreciated it (that's the only reason we are giving two stars and not one) but it was too little, too late... The trust was already gone and the experience was terrible. There's more that I could say about what a waste of time and how frustrating this process has been, but I'll just end it with we chose to work with someone else. I understand that this is a business but the "wheeling and dealing" personality of this realty group really rubbed us the wrong way.
