    Todd Poruba Heating & AC was assigned by American Home Shield to work on my AC. He came out and…read moresaid it needed a new fan, came back the next day unannounced and replaced the fan. The AC was still not working and when I called him the following morning to discuss it with him he said it must be a problem with the thermostat and that I didn't tell him there was anything wrong with the thermostat. I tried to explain to him that I am not an HVAC technician and I didn't know what was wrong with my AC, just that it wasn't working. He told me I would have to file another claim with my warranty company because I didn't list the thermostat as being the problem, even though as I explained to him I didn't know the thermostat was the problem. He was extremely rude on the phone and unprofessional and acted like it was my fault he fixed the wrong thing.

Well sure enough our air went out within 2 weeks. Call the warranty, they couldn't get anyone here for a month. So I called back and they got Todd out here. We found all original paperwork for the AC and it was put in, in 1993. Todd and his son came out when they were to just quote a new unit because it makes zero sense to fix a 29 year old unit. Well he said he could fix it. So he put sealant in the lines and added more Freon. That lasted a month. So Thursday night, air goes out again. I called the warranty company and they say Todd has to come back out. I gave him a call and as I'm explaining the same thing happened he says "you're not in HVAC you don't know what you're talking about." I was livid. I'm just trying to let you know the same thing happened. He then proceeded to say it was the coil, without looking at it. So he came today. There is now a secondary problem with the AC aside from the reason I needed them to come back out. The breaker is shot on the unit now as well. So as I try to explain to Todd and his son, that is not the primary reason I called, his son proceeds to say "can you just let us do our job?" EXCUSE ME, all I was trying to explain is that was not the primary issue, and it escalated from there. I will not allow some to speak to me like that in MY house when I'm simply explaing what happened. There is way more back and forth in this argument and threats regarding my warranty. He also stated "he makes way more money off of the warranty company than he does from me". Not once did I tell them they didn't know what they were doing, how to do it, nothing. I just simply wanted to explain to them, what had originally happened. Apparently that's not acceptable. He does not value his business. It ended with my husband telling him to get the hell off of our property as all of this is absolutely insane. Please for the love of everything holy do not use this POS.

    I had Triple service come out to look at our home because we have a lot of plumbing issues that we…read moreknew about when we bought the house. Gabe one of the owners came out and looked around and suggested some things we could do but said his son in law Matt had to come out to do the repairs and give us some quotes. When Matt came, he tried to camera the plugged drain for the kitchen sink and washing machine. He was unable to get it unclogged but said he would try to enter through another stack in the corner. Matt was unable to remove the cap on that stack so he said he wanted to install a pvc saddle on the cast iron pipe . He then went to the other stack that went to the upstairs bathroom and was able to get in but said right away there was a cracked pipe that needed to be replaced. He also said he couldn't use any machines through there because of the cracked pipe. He than gave me a quote for repairing the cracked pipe, installing the saddle, using the machines to remove the blockage for the main drain pipe and said he would break the concrete for the kitchen drain if he had to and replace that pipe also. With all the work he said he was going to do we agreed to the price. When he arrived to do the work, he said that he was going to have a hard stop at 3 o'clock even though he told us originally that he would be there until 6. They did repair the broken pipe for the upstairs stack and installed the saddle on the cast iron pipe but did not get the original blocked pipe flowing as promised. Also, two days later the saddle was leaking in our basement. When I called the next day they were open Savannah was very rude on the phone and sounded like I was bothering her with my problems that they caused. We never received any of the quotes or invoices we were promised either until we complained several times. Long story short don't waste your time and money on conmen and liars.

    Professional, communicative, prompt, friendly, and fair priced…read more Requested Triple Service repair of my elderly mother's Lift Chair motor cables (after they were stripped) and I'm glad I did. Initially, I called and was quickly told they wouldn't be able to help (I would remove a star for this but they more than made up for it).. so I kept up the search. Fortunately for us, Erica, an entirely thorough, professional, and friendly woman from Triple Service called to follow up to make sure we got the help we were looking for. Even though they were busy (like everyone else in the area), she dispatched an electrician to visit. They called to confirm 2 days later, messaged a pic of the electrician and called just before arrival, and then messaged immediately after the work was done to thank us. This is top-level clear communication in my experience. Ben did a great job, fixing the cabling in about an hour. He was talking to himself and laughing, which put us at ease in an otherwise nerve-racking situation. The price we paid was more than fair - $79 Triple Service really came through for us, and I couldn't be more grateful, especially after the experience we had with another company in the area, which I won't name. I'll definitely be calling Triple Service first in the future. Big shout out to Erica and Ben for a fantastic job done right!
