Before Dr. Shenassa repaired my broken wrist, it would have been a freaken miracle. I tripped in my backyard and fell with my arms extended, so I broke my wrist. Dr. Shenassa assessed my hand and scheduled me for a repair surgery. It took about a minute to realize he is smart. After our time together, I left the appointment knowing he was worthy of my trust. The surgical center is the same one that my orthopedic surgeon uses, so the anesthesiologists knew me and it was a successful and uneventful surgery. Dr. Shenassa called me that night to make sure I was doing ok. His office team met with me and assessed me until I was recovered from the surgery and on my way to building strength. I broke my wrist 1/6/2025. I was able to use my hand a couple of months after the surgery. It took about a year for me to recover my maximum wrist strength. Now, 18 months after I broke my wrist, every time I use it, I think of my surgeon and how he helped me keep going. When I show my wrist scar to hospital and orthopedic professionals, they are amazed at the work.

I had no nanny and had to deal with a 14- months old with me having one arm. Yes, daddy could help but there's unexpected pooping and nappy change prior to leaving that I didn't plan for. The office gave me attitude like "oh, but your appointment was at 8". Yes, bitch. Had I showed up at 8 I would still be waiting to be called. Why do doctors think they are the only one whose time is important. I had to take time off a very well-paying job to come wait around as well. Normally it will take me more than 2 hours in this office for a 15 minutes face time with a doctor. Both my parents were physicians and I worked in patient registration in their hospital growing up. I never had this type of issue. People who had long wait time are the walk in that we only could fit them in between appointments. My surgeon was concerned with my range of motion and was recommending that he perform a "Manipulation under anesthesia", something I did not want to have done. Joey set my curriculum to specifically address my range of motion and I'm happy to say that my surgeon was satisfied as well. I've even advanced to a point where I can do things I wasn't able to prior to the surgery. You can observe the focus on cleanliness. All the equipment is sanitized between patients. Above it all though, is the quality of character of the people at Aries. You get to know people after spending three hours a week with them.
