In June of 2019, I fell and broke my ankle. I was treated by Dr. Michael Price, DPM. He was very…read moreempathetic and explained what the treatment plan would be. (It was displaced and because I had been sick at home with a virus for 3 days following my fall, my treatment was delayed until I got well.) Dr. Price explained what the break looked like and exactly what it would take to mend it. He took time to answer my questions about whatmy recovery would look like. I was scheduled for surgery a couple of days later. Dr. Price is a master surgeon! He ended up putting 9 screws and a relatively large plate in my ankle. I healed well and had very little - if any pain or discomfort - throughout my recovery. Every time I went for a follow-up appointment, Dr. Price treated me as if I was his only patient. He listened to my concerns and offered suggestions to keep the heeling process on schedule but allowed me to do some things I needed/wanted to do. I even went to a UNC football game after learning from Dr. Price about special accommodations for fans with mobility issues! Dr. Price also worked cooperatively with my PT to ensure healing and strength in my ankle. I had been to Dr. Todd Hyatt, also at Triad Foot and Ankle Center, for 2 previous surgeries and a broken foot several years ago. That was why I went to Triad Foot and Ankle. Dr. Hyatt referred my case to Dr. Price because he was going to be out of the office and he believed what I required was Dr.Price's specialty. He was right! My ankle was in great hands with Dr. Michael Price at Triad Foot and Ankle. I highly recommend Dr.Michael Price! Debbie P. Hill, Ed.D.

Lovely to chat with her while we did all of the necessary check-in things. I sat only briefly in the lovely waiting room (the whole building/office is gorgeous!) and then Kathy called me back to the exam room. Another super nice and cheerful individual. I was thanked multiple times for coming and everything was explained to me along the way. Dr. Stover also was very nice and professional. She answered all of my questions, including a few that didn't pertain to the reason for the visit, and never made me feel I was a bother (like the first opinion I received in another office). I felt like she had all the time in the world for me. I absolutely would recommend this office to anyone!

I went to Dr. Ajlouny for an issue I was having with two toes on my left foot. After a short wait I…read morewas taken to an exam room and for X-Rays. My first issue was the X-Ray machine they wanted me to stand on was filthy, and I asked to have it cleaned before standing on it. The cloth the technician used was black with dirt after cleaning the platform. Then I was taken back into the exam room which also appeared to be very dusty and dirty. When the doctor arrived she examined both of my feet even though I only have issues with my left toes. Then I was told my condition would require surgery to resolve and the doctor was pushing me to make a decision on the spot which I was not ready to do. Apparently I must have upset the doctor or someone on her staff because I was charged the wrong co-pay and some incorrect information was entered into my health records which looked very intentional. My primary care doctor corrected my medical records, and I let them keep the extra money they charged me. I'm hoping they use that money to buy a mop and broom to do a little cleaning. I'd recommend finding a different doctor for your foot care needs.

Her care was so poor I left her practice a month before my surgical date for an Achilles bone spur. I went to an orthopedic surgeon and found out not only did I have a bone spur but also a benign tumor and an Achilles tear. I am so thankful I did not trust her to complete this surgery. She is probably the most unprofessional doctor I have seen. She didn't order any imaging before she scheduled surgery, if she had she would have seen the tear. I had my surgery over the summer, I am on the mend and it was a good experience....but it was with an orthopedic surgeon. Ajlouney is condescending, moody, unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable as the surgery date approached. On my last visit before surgery she was so rude I left the office and knew I would not be returning for surgery.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with this office. I went in for a callus and…read morecorn removal, the procedure itself was quick and fairly easy. The doctor put a bandaid on it and said there was blood bc of a sweat gland. I was in a bit of pain still after leaving, but thought nothing of it bc of the cut. The next day I still had pain which led me to believe the callus had not been fully removed. After contacting the office, I was told to wait until the bleeding healed to verify where the pain was coming from. I patiently waited and then scheduled a follow-up appointment to address the continued pain, after three days. The earliest appointment that worked for me that they had available was approximately 7 days later (there was a weekend in those days). When I arrived, however, I was told I would have to pay either my copay or another $50 callus removal fee before the doctor would even look at me to correct the issue. This is when I learned that corns apparently can't be removed, only calluses can be shaved off (apparently I needed to read the fine print before signing and would have known that). This was incredibly frustrating as the first time I had a callus/corn taken care of (from a foot doctor in Florida) I had no issue, no pain and confidence that I wouldnt have to worry about the problem for another good longtime (5 years to be exact). Again I am flabbergasted by the staffs dismissive behavior and the nurses down right rude and disgruntled attitude. They made it clear that I would not be seen unless I paid the additional fees, along with an overdue fee that until that day I had never seen or been aware of. An overdue fee that was 3 years old! A overdue fee that had never been communicated to me before that day (not even at my appointment 7 days earlier)--no overdue notices, no phone calls, nothing! This lack of transparency and poor communication is unacceptable. Clearly I am not a subject matter expert on feet, and am an average joe when it comes to "reading the fine print," but I truly do not believe I deserved to be treated the way I was! I would not recommend this office to anyone.
