I tried to refuse shipment, but it said paid in full. I had just shipped the same size antique item from Texas to Florida, with packing and extra insurance, it came to $47! His $208 shipping charge was outrageously high! I obviously would have made my own shipping arrangements. As I get my credit card involved, all this guy said to me is:"That is the shipping charge. I know you wanted to refuse the item, but if you don't pay, I'll sue you; I do it all the time to customers." All the time? Really? Unbelievable. Zero Stars! Zero Customer Service ! We called on Tuesday prior to attempting a 20 mile drive just to go to their store. Glad we called. So we drove to another town where the owners DID answer their phones and we had an excellent shopping experience. The owner of this shop in Honey Grove needs to get up to speed on better marketing practices. And at a minimum the phone message should include days and hours of operation instead of only a very negative message of not answering the phone anymore. This kind of negative put off can NOT be good for business.
