Aims Academy Bangkok BBQ Chase Bank, Chevron + ExtraMile Donut Tree Explore Earth Travel Agency Farmers Insurance Goodwill + Donation Center H W Taste Kids Dentistry Lemon Creek Cleaners Nails Galleria, New York Pizzeria, Ninja Sushi Our Lash Beauty Post Box Plus Shell Charging Station, Spicy Hot Pot Malatang, Sunny Dumpling House Vons + Pharmacy Walnut Family Dental, Walnut Shoe Repair, Wells Fargo Bank World Taekwondo Academy EXTERIOR / PARKING: I was here in the evening both times. From what I could tell, it has a good amount of parking spaces. As for exterior maintenance, it looked pretty well kept even in the dark LOL. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE? I will be back for more Ming Cha delicious drinks for sure and possibly try the hot pot place and dumpling house. Who knows... Walnut may be my next best city to hang out at! P.S. Had to go get groceries here and I wanted to mention that this is a nice shopping center. It has…read moreeverything you need, Vons, a donut shop, pizza joint, sushi, Thai, banks, a gas station, shoe repair shop, etc. I have gone here before but I appreciate this location because shopping centers closer to home don't seem to have this variety of options in one place. The lot needs a little repair, but the space is enough to accommodate parking for all businesses. One thing too is that this location has personality. Let me explain. Today I observed the usual ancient Asian guys sitting in front of the donut shop having their loud conversation (I thought they were screaming at me), a middle eastern guy smoking in the parking lot making a business deal on his cell phone, and get this, a random lady was washing her Tesla in the parking lot. What? Lol. Also, I believe there are a couple of days during the week when 2-4 older retired guys just sit in the parking lot with lawn chairs and drinking coffee (and probably booze) while listening to the radio, but I didn't see them today.

I always just stick to Kohl's, 'Michael's' and 'In-an'-Out' here at this specific plaza was due to the convenience of its location. They also have the Dubai chocolate bars, crepes and açaí bowls. The habit is drawing fans for their charbroiled goodness with dine in or drive thru available. This plaza has plenty of eatery options. Tight customer parking during rush hours it may be a few laps before finding a space. No school parking.

Crazy right?…read more I remember when Hide Out first opened here and the instant ramyun noodles were only $3 and the drinks were like only $5. Man have the times changed. So many businesses have come and gone, like Sno-Crave my beloved, a cool traditional Chinese tea drinking place, the Internet cafe I don't think is there anymore, the Van Gogh Yogurt looking place, the vape store with a really cool cockatoo, and much, much more. I do like that once in awhile they have fun free events here too, they recently had an idol event where my favorite kaigai idol group, Strawberry Sunday, performed. I couldn't make it, but it was so cool that they, many other kaigai idols, and even overseas idols got to perform there. There were also free food sampling events and much more. It's just nice to have that courtyard in the middle just to hang out. I don't think I go here that often since there's now way more options than Hide Out Cafe that is a bit cringe now and less hours and pricy, and there isn't any dining options that super call out to me (maybe Mountain House if friends want to go), but I'm glad that Pearl Plaza exists. P. S. Parking can get a bit ugly here. The spots can get a bit tight and everyone wants to park as close as possible, but there's a parking structure if need be.

Honestly, I was very surprised to see 11 businesses on the signage. It's basically one two story building with limited parking on the side and in the back. Most of the businesses are professional services oriented. No restaurants. Just Danzzan coffee and tea shop. Two out of the 11 businesses are in Chinese characters, hence, I don't know what services they offer. I don't see myself offering my patronage and support to any of these businesses except for Danzzan. However, they may offer you services that you may need. If the answer is yes, then come on over. There's not much in this plaza, at least not much that piques my interest. Yes, I've gone to…read moreDanzzann in the past, but after a couple visits, I'm a fan of like 2 drinks there and the competition out in Rowland Heights is just too steep. So I'd really only go if another friend truly insists. I haven't really found any reason to go to any of the other businesses. The parking lot is small and I would assume get QUITE busy during the day time when most of the businesses are open, but thankfully, I've only been here pretty late at night, so it's only other Danzzan customers. There are, however, SEVERAL signs warning people not to urinate there, so there are several serial pee culprits there, so just be wary of any wet spots or ammonia smells if anything. Random story, I remember seeing a guy at the bus stop have a devious smile on his face, run into stopped traffic, put his watch behind a car and then run back to the bus stop. Truly some entertaining times in Rowland Heights.

SAC students especially since it's right across the street. Careful with the parking though, they used to tow, but it's been ages since then. I think my only qualm is, and I'm showing my age right here, is that a lot of the bigger name stores are now gone. I'm talking about the Stater Brothers that used to be here and the Dollar Tree (now at the Village), sucks that now there's no real "local" grocery store. Students have to wander farther now and I guess the denizens of Walnut have to as well. I miss the Burger King that used to be there (now a Starbucks), and I think the closest Burger Kings have me wander into the heart of West/Covina or La Puente, and the Jack in the Box too was a big loss. Those cheap tacos were a lifesaver for lots of students and the replacement now is a bit pricey. I know I'm just nostalgia posting but I also miss MJ's and Coffee Break. Great place to get drinks, study, and to get sizzling plates or lunch plate/bento box sets. Really filling and great memories at the time. As for now, the real heavy hitters and the reason I keep coming back to this plaza is for Goomo (they have a lot of deals, just follow their IG and their variety of drinks and snacks are great) and Menya Hanabi. There's a couple other spots, but these are the reasons I keep coming back as an old who hasn't been a student, at least a serious one, for a long time.
