The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

There's the gym, Aldi (the least stressful one to go to parking wise near me), L&L (RIP the mall one), now the closest Michaels to me, a Kohl's I do all of my Amazon returns at, and several other businesses like McDonald's, Panda Express, Dollar Tree (no longer across from Mt. SAC), a very small Starbucks, pho, Applebee's, In-N-Out (easiest one for me to get to too), PetSmart, and much more. There's clothes and home goods shopping, groceries, arts and crafts, pet and pet supply shopping, sit down and casual fast food restaurants, and much more. It's not too far for me to get to and parking-wise less stressful, so it's a solid experience for me.

It is primarily anchored by New Capital Seafood Restaurant (on 2nd floor). The main building is two story with a few other buildings that are one story. I have offered my patronage and support to 7 businesses in the past (see asterisk next to biz below). One of them is no longer here... we miss you Boiling Point! I can't believe I haven't explored more businesses at this plaza. This was THE place to go to and get dropped off at or take the bus and walk to when I was in high school/early college before I was able to drive. I'm going to out myself as a fossil, but do you remember Life Plaza? Genki Living? Cue? Arcade Infinity? We really had it all back then. I'm even mourning the loss of our Cocoichibanya to this day that used to exist here. So many great businesses that have come and gone and so many years of my life spent here, great memories, sad memories, and memories with people who are no longer in my life. When I had to live in the horrific midwest, I would await the day I get to visit Diamond Plaza again. But that's just rose colored glasses. Yes, lots of businesses and some really good eateries have come and gone (crazy that Gen and Ten Ren's got eliminated), but now the plaza is SUPER FISTED. Probably due to the Chubby Cattle and the popularity of the other places to grab dinner and go to the Duo Duo Snacks. I used to be able to finesse parking in the back area or to the side near the freeway, but now you have to circle around much more often and the parking pit can't guarantee anything to you. Alongside parking being a PvP zone and no regard for human life, you gotta really watch yourself. I'm glad Sul and Beans is still around and that regardless of all the changes, you can always guarantee that there's good food here. Big fan of the Duo Duo Snacks, and it's nice that there's an anime store here (though the prices are a bit high and it's filled with mostly shonen slop).

There's a BoA ATM right at the front and there's some other businesses in this H Mart too. I LOVE DELI MANJOO and their little sweet corn sponge cake and taiyaki. I have never seen this at other H Mart locations so that makes this unique. There's also Tous les Jours, luxury K beauty storefront, Kimbap shop, savory foods, and some of these businesses keep swapping out and changing. RIP Cheesetella. Good selection of produce and meats. Love the deli area with lots of kimchi and banchan that you can get to go. Seafood section is really fresh and you can get sashimi there as well. I'm a fan of the snacks area and instant noodles and on the weekends they have samples sometimes. Prices can vary, usually not too bad, but with so many Chinese markets that now offer a lot of the same instant noodles (my main thing to purchase), it ight be best to compare and shop around.

I have been to Crossroads Marketplace in Chino Hills from time to time primarily for Costco, Costco…read moreGas (huge space with 32 gas pumps!), Tasty Spot Cafe (previously known as Delicious Food Corner), Thaitwist, Meet Fresh, 85 Bakery, Dollar Tree, and a few other restaurants that I can't seem to remember their biz names right now. This marketplace is located at the heart of Chino Hills Trade area. It's on the north side of the city with easy access to two major freeways, SR 60 and SR-71. Besides the businesses mentioned above, other major tenants include Lowe's, PetSmart, America's Tire, UPS, GNC, Coldstone, Wendy's, etc. There is also a section that's going through a redevelopment phase due to businesses that have closed down within the last couple years. I don't live near the Chino Hills area, but I am always open to venturing out to different cities and seeing what they have to offer especially for dining. This marketplace offers quite a bit.
