My room faced the freeway, so if traffic noise bothers you, I would recommend requesting a room on the opposite side of the hotel. That said, the staff is what truly makes this property shine. They deserve 5 stars. Every interaction I had with the staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. They really went above and beyond and made my stay better than it otherwise would have been. If I'm back in the area, I would definitely consider staying here again, primarily because of the outstanding staff.

Overall decent hotel in the Norwalk section of town. The staff here is very nice- the've got those great, warm cookies waiting for you whenever you want them, which really goes a long way after a busy day. The room itself was very average. One of my biggest callouts was no matter how many lights I had on, it never felt bright enough, and the TV channel selection was underwhelming. The gym facilities were better than expected with lots of natural light and good equipment, although, they could've used more exercise mats. My status gave me an $18 credit to use at the conscience store. The stock was rather odd with very little consistency. I would usually get some gum, water, cereal, but then they would have no milk. Once I tried the fresh fruit cup. Worst fresh fruit I'd ever had in my life. This area definitely needs work. Despite the inconsistencies, I feel like this hotel does try, and while the building is quite worn, I think it makes up for it with friendly service, better than average gym and parking & delicious cookies on demand.

Shot out to Ashley M for outstanding service!…read more We're usually used to staying at some of the larger Marriott brands, but we decided to stay here for one night (3/15/26-3/16/26) since we just needed a quick getaway close to home and it ended up being such a cute little hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but what really made our stay stand out was the service. Everyone we encountered was incredibly sweet and gracious, but ASHLEY M. truly went above and beyond. I had originally asked for a pool view but couldn't really see it from our room. Without hesitation, she said, "Give me a moment," and rearranged things to get us a room with a proper pool view. That alone was amazing, but then I realized I had left something behind in the previous room. Ashley immediately reassured me and had someone retrieve it and bring it right over. She handled everything with such kindness, a smile, and genuine care, it really made a difference. When we checked out, I believe the manager's name was Isaac (I didn't catch it for sure), and he was just as pleasant and professional. You could tell the way the place is run reflects strong, gracious leadership. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Clean, welcoming, and filled with kind people who truly care. Definitely two thumbs up!

This stay was far below expected standards in cleanliness & guest care. I would strongly advise against staying here. I endured an extended business stay at this property and from the start, the room was not properly cleaned -- food debris on the floors, a heavily soiled couch with crumbs throughout, and an unsanitary shower head that required replacement. Maintenance issues, including plumbing (foul smelling water) and power concerns, took days to resolve. Housekeeping was inconsistent and often unacceptable. On multiple occasions, floors were not cleaned, sheets were not changed, and visibly stained bedding was placed on the bed. Debris was left behind, including someone else's hair and trash, indicating the room was not properly serviced. Most concerning, I experienced insect activity and developed a significant bite during my stay that is still healing. A colleague on the same floor reported similar issues. This raises serious sanitation and health concerns. Despite multiple reports, concerns were dismissed or inadequately addressed at the management level. Rather than resolving the issues, responses were deflective and unprofessional. I ultimately had to escalate this matter to corporate to receive any acknowledgment. For a Marriott property, this is unacceptable and this establishment is unfit. I would never return to this property.

Thankfully, the upper security latch prevented him from getting inside. The staff responded and apologized, but we were never offered a different room, even though the main sliding door lock appeared to have been compromised during the incident. After that, we couldn't sleep because we no longer felt safe. I'm sharing our experience so other guests, especially families with children, are aware.

Unfortunately, it's another poorly managed franchise that does nothing but hurt the Hilton brand. Check-in took nearly 2 hours. My original room still wasn't ready at 5:00 PM, so I was moved to a different room. The moment I walked in, I was hit with a strong odor of dirty, moldy socks. The HVAC air filter looked like it hadn't been changed in ages. I was then moved to a second room, but only after waiting another hour while staff inspected it at my request to make sure it didn't have the same issues. Sadly, the second room was just as disappointing. While it didn't smell as bad, it had numerous maintenance issues and visible damage that made me question how it was ever cleared for a guest. The only positive part of this experience was the front desk staff. They were friendly, courteous, and genuinely tried to help. My frustration is directed at the ownership and management for allowing the property to deteriorate to this level. Hilton should hold franchise owners to a much higher standard.

When we were there 2 weekends ago, the restaurant was under renovation. The floor was gutted. They made a make shift dining area in the lobby. Within a month later, we received a phone call from Angelica along with a Filipina associate named Meg stating that there was a mishap with the booking -- that the day of was "double booked" with a Salvation Army all-event! You can imagine how livid we were; demanding for them to correct this; being forthright with the initial contract and the fact that there were no other rooms available on our fixed date. They exclaimed they (Salvation Army) were "dedicated" annual contractors and tried to insist having the nerve to try and downgrade the venue in the Dining Room!! This was utterly proposterious and outrageous, I was enraged and yelled at Angelica with just how appalled we were with this whole debacle -- an absolute disservice in having the audacity to treat their customers like this after we have already sent out physical invitations to our guests coming out-of-town and out-of-country. We demanded the refund of our down-payment. There was a leu of procrastinations even getting that back! It almost felt we were getting stiffed. My older sister whom is well-immersed in the Catering and Hotel industry had to get involved; inquired information at the hotel reception for the higher management and sent a letter to the Manager of Food & Dining as well as the Director of the Sheraton. We got our refund immediately the next day. BEWARE of this specific Sheraton location, they have reneged on several other customers. We overlooked the Website and Google reviews until after we were screwed over...They should be ashamed of themselves, their professional etiquette is 2nd to that of a roach motel, at least you know what you're expecting -- not the element of surprise...

My stay at the Norwalk Inn Motel was a mixed experience…read more Upon our arrival, the front desk attendant was courteous and accommodating. Although she was somewhat difficult to hear during the transaction, she facilitated a smooth and efficient check-in process, and her professionalism was appreciated. Regrettably, the checkout experience significantly altered my overall impression of the property. Our stay lasted two nights, with a scheduled checkout time of 11:00 a.m. We were running slightly behind while gathering our belongings. Rather than receiving a courteous reminder that checkout time had passed, a staff member approached our door and knocked loudly in a manner that was abrupt and alarming. Upon opening the door, she immediately began speaking in a raised and forceful tone, repeatedly instructing us to hurry and vacate the room. We calmly explained that we were nearly finished and required only a few additional minutes. Instead of allowing us to complete our preparations, she continued to raise her voice. When we requested that she moderate her tone, she denied being discourteous while continuing to speak loudly. She then placed her foot in the doorway and entered the room while we were still present and in the process of collecting our belongings. Additionally, she remained outside the room, observing us until we departed. This interaction caused considerable discomfort and a sense of intimidation. After completing the checkout process and proceeding to the front desk, we discovered that the same employee was now attending to guests there. She processed the return of our cash deposit; however, the procedure took an unusually long time. When we politely requested her name, she appeared reluctant and responded with visible irritation. As the situation continued to escalate, I began recording the interaction on my phone. In response, she also began recording and became increasingly confrontational. As we exited the property, she followed us outside, continued speaking loudly, and repeatedly stated that she intended to report us. I fully acknowledge that hotels maintain checkout policies and that guests are expected to adhere to them. While a brief delay on our part may have warranted a reminder or even a late checkout fee, the manner in which the situation was handled was inappropriate. Being addressed in an aggressive tone, having a staff member enter our room without consent while we were still present, being monitored as we gathered our belongings, and experiencing continued confrontation at both the front desk and outside the premises were all unacceptable. What began as a pleasant stay concluded with one of the most unprofessional checkout experiences I have encountered. I respectfully encourage management to review any available security footage from the hallway and front desk, address the conduct of the employee involved, and consider implementing additional customer service training. All guests should be treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect, regardless of minor delays during checkout.

There were literal roaches, people yelling in the parking lot, and the towels had brown stains on them. It was bad enough that I actually searched the bed for bed bugs before I was willing to sleep in it. The table hadn't even been properly cleaned and still had ash on it. To be fair, this was a last-minute booking because we were traveling and just needed somewhere to sleep for the night. But knowing what I know now, I would absolutely spend the extra $75 and stay at a reputable hotel like a Marriott or Hilton. Saving a few bucks was not worth it.

While at first glance the room is tidy and clean. But through inspection of the room, we noticed multiple bugs in the room. There was a corner within the bathroom with about three dead bugs laying in the ground. In the bedroom, there was a bug in the left corner of the room. What makes matters even worse is that there was a bug in the sheets of the bed, one with long limbs to which I can guess was a spider. This is incredibly scary to imagine that perhaps someone less than lucky as us did not inspect the bed, and may have been sleeping amongst a bug, and who knows how much more. This long-legged friend was not alone either, as in the sink we found another spider creating a web. Like any sane-minded person, we went to go refund our hotel. As soon as we arrived back in front we noticed a woman already complaining to one of the employees. I can only guess that she was met with the same condition of a room, or something in similar vain, because she had claimed that the room smelt like urine. I ask that you change what procedures you do to clean each room. It is incredibly disgusting that a room was left like that. Don't be a lazy manager, and do not teach your employees that same behavior. I have made several attempts to get in contact with the manager for a refund and has been told that he is on vacation. The reservation was made through Expedia and was only offered $75 credit since they aren't able to get in contact with them either. Mind you, the reservation was booked for 3 nights!
