It wouldn't be too late if Alabama Furniture Market (Dog Town Furniture) - Huntsville had not dropped the ball on this issue. Much of the furniture you'll find there is very high end and often quite unique. But even the high end consigned furniture is offered for MUCH less than you'd pay in a regular, fine furniture store for the quality. Even if you do not find what you're looking for, shopping at Interiors By Consign in Huntsville is always an enjoyable adventure. I love to take friends there who have never been to the store and they generally become repeat customers like me. This happens because of the amazing furniture and artwork sold there and because of the lovely people who work there such as Jesse and Pam. The store had quite a few rocker recliner chairs. I spent time trying out several before picking one. The owner is very nice and accommodating. She set my delivery up for a minimal fee and the delivery was made on time as promised. This store is open Thursday thru Saturday. They sell excellent made furniture and much of it is made here in the USA. They have a loyal fan base, do not advertise and the prices on the furniture are about as low as they are going to be. There is no wheeling or dealing to get 10-15% off the listed price as the owner sets the lowest price to begin with. Due to COVID, there are signs thru the store about furniture not being able to be returned. You can't miss the signs. Pre-COVID the signs weren't up. When I walked in I saw two employees on the phone taking care of customers. I browsed the store checking if I saw the water filter I needed. I didn't. One of the employees said they do not stock the filter but they can order it. A-1 is known for stocking older model replacement parts and what I call off parts. I had an old oven from the 1950's and the element burned out. I went to A-1 and they had that old part in stock. I was told I could order the water filter from Amazon and get it quickly. It was not at the location I was at so the nice woman helping me was able to check their other locations and found the part for me. I went to the other location and the young man that waited on me went right to the part and had it in-hand in less than 2 minutes. I was in & out with correct part in 5 minutes. I highly recommend this business and it is refreshing to experience skilled & knowledgeable employees at this day and time. You will not find this level of service at any big-box store. Thank you !!!
