    Looking out from my table.

The people were very friendly. The hamburger in gravy and rice were very good and filling. The Lima beans were cook through and very tasty. The fried chicken was off the chain. My 5 year old granddaughter would not stop eating the fried cod. My son in law said the okra and tomatoes were delicious. The potato salad was good as was the baked beans. If I come back through I will stop in and eat again. The reason I gave 4 stars is the parking.

I stopped here in hopes of finding some fresh home cooking, and I hit the jackpot. This place was a small local favorite that served a cafeteria style lunch with fresh meats and veggies. I got the collard greens with squash and green beans. The veggies were so flavorful, and paired perfectly with the fried cornbread. My grandad got the fried pork chops, and he said they were the best he has ever had. I definitely recommend this place, and I really want to come back during breakfast time.

Rude staff if you arrive towards the end of the lunch buffet. I won't stop by again.

Very good food. Order was correct. Nice staff. Great location. Decent price. Always busy so that should let you know how good it is.

It's a great place to eat--good people and good service. They always have a good selection of vegetables and meats.

Terrible! Slow! Everything served on styrofoam. Awful food. Biscuits tasted like kerosene

Wonderful fried pork chops and veggies! Definitely worth the stop! Reminded me of my grandmother's home cooking.

I'm here for a week and this is my second amazing lunch here (and I highly recommend their Build…read moreYo Poke restaurant, too). You literally can make limitless combos to have your salad exactly as you want. All dressings are made in-house, which is pretty impressive. You can order a rice bowl with ingredients, too. The portions are beyond generous (a small salad would be considered large elsewhere) and the array of ingredients and toppings is exceptional. On my first visit, I ordered a small spinach salad with grilled salmon. As toppings, I added chopped red onion, shredded carrot, pineapple, mandarin oranges, blueberries, chopped strawberries, chopped beet, blue cheese, sliced avocado, dried cranberries with their in house made raspberry vinaigrette. It was literally one of the most delicious salads I've ever had. I was so stuffed from the generous portion that I didn't need dinner. On my second visit, I got a veggie wrap with grilled chicken, chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, shredded carrot, blue cheese, sliced avocado. I got the in-house buttermilk ranch dressing on the side (and ended up not using it-sandwich was amazing without it). I was asked if I wanted chicken warmed (I didn't) and I was amazed at the skill of the preparer who was able to tightly wrap the ginormous quantity of ingredients into the wrap and halve it. I only ate half my sandwich so I have lunch for tomorrow. Win-win. The black cherry tarragon soda was so good as was the Italian lemon soda. Their soups sounded great as did their desserts. The staff was so friendly and helpful. (Don't forget to tip!) The tvs on the walls show cool food art being made. I'd come here and their Poke place at least twice a week for lunch if I lived locally. Prices are extremely reasonable for quality and quality of food.

It's promoted as the energy builder. I had the Raspberry vinaigrette to top it and it was like the icing on the cake! One container of it is enough. I really wanted to like my "plate" after I was done but I have home training. No reason to act like that over a salad right? Man, please...It was good! There are p salads to choose from or you can just build your own salad. We ordered a couple of their specialty salads and were not disappointed. They were packaged to go but we ended up dining in. See photo for cute to-go pic. There was a complimentary water station with 2 offerings: a cucumber water and a ginger infused water. I never had ginger water before and i really liked it! My Bouncing Blueberry salad tasted as fresh as i expected, it was chock full of ingredients and very filling. I highly recommend this veteran-owned business and supporting their mission of spreading preventative health education thru food.
