You will be surprised by the overwhelming warm welcome when you enter the front door. Service impeccable! Easy to give 20% gratuity! The place is small ... five tables and bar seats ... only open 11AM-2PM ... the call ahead and takeaway orders are non-stop. The menu filled with variety. The cheeseburger was cooked to perfection & topped with fixin's. Delicious! The sweet potato pie was excellent! Definitely a place that Guy from DDD should check out! And, yes, we signed the wall ... with permission! Employees wearing masks and cleaning! (Note: many customers not masked even though front door signs asks for you to wear it!)

Super friendly from the kitchen to the counter. We all had double bacon cheeseburgers all the way. I love that all the way included grilled onions because they add so much to a burger. The home fries were tasty and they serve grapico which is the superior grape soda. 3 people with huge meals and the total was $36. I couldn't have asked for a better burger or experience.

A true SOUL in the wall . If you're not in a lunch rush , have a seat and get comfy. Husband and wife owners were extremely hospitable ; felt like I was a guest in their home . Food was delicious - we had the fried mullet. Great homemade fries too . If I'm ever in the area again , I'd certainly be back !

This is a very small family-run local restaurant that has the friendliest staff and the best homemade food! The cheeseburger and home fries are the best!!! I cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu!!

They only sell plastic cups for refills when you come back for a discount. 4. Food is a bit slow coming out due to not being able to keep up. don't think they have enough staff. The drive thru was really busy. 5. Fridge full of Brunswick stew to go and desserts like cake and banan pudding. Cole slaw: finely chopped and Th r perfect balance of vinegar to mayo. More on vinegar side BBQ sauce: spicy, original and sweet Soda: bottles and fountain drinks all COKE products. The staff was friendly but would have liked for them to explain about the plastic cup situation instead of me asking if the cups are only plastic and why. The turkey is cut across the grain. As a result it chips which is fantastic because most of the time it sliced like lunch meat. The loaded mashed potatoes are were very good but half way through I was over the flavor. I could have gotten white gravy but opted out. Could have made the flavor balance out more. French fries tasted like fresh cut and the seasoning was fantastic but salty for my taste. The texture was so good tho! Mac and Cheese tasted like a velveeta cheese base. Very southern in elite texture-gooey. The banana pudding did not have bananas but they use banana flavored pudding. I did not miss the bananas with that pudding. Loaded with the right amount of wafers. Hubby said his brisket was a 7. We did not smell smoke or see it coming out of a smoke stack so not sure if it is smoked in house. This spot is very very busy with locals. Sonny's is down the street and I grew up eating it but would come here any day.

While the food displayed on the Facebook page is some terrific looking steaks and chops, we were there for lunch. The lunch special today was hamburger steak with onions and mushroom gravy and two sides and drink for $13. My wife was considering the grilled shrimp and I was leaning heavily towards the Po-Boy. Instead, we both opted for the special. This restaurant is a small, not well lighted, small town feeling diner. The servers were nice young women who took our orders and checked on us a couple of time while we waited for our food. I kept hearing the kitchen bell ring, but food kept being delivered to other tables. While it did feel like we waited quite a while for the food to come out of the kitchen, we were pleasantly surprised when it did. It is not "fast food." The hamburger steaks were well spiced and well prepared. I wasn't really that impressed with the gravy, but it wasn't bad. The mushrooms and onions were okay. We both would have liked the onions thicker sliced. We chose fried okra, mashed potatoes and potato salad as our sides. My potato salad was very tasty and I'm told the mashed potatoes were excellent as well. We both had the okra as a side and we both agreed that the okra was fantastic. The head cook and owner came out to check the dining room as we were finishing up. She interacted with her customers and refilled some drinks. We found her to be a lovely person, very genuine and friendly. We truly felt appreciated and enjoyed the meal. We would like to return for the supper meal, the steaks and chops look great, but they are not on the lunch menu. I would recommend you try this little Southern Roots Bar and Grill.

I can assure you should not miss restaurant. The ambience is perfect Moroccan culture down to the red soap, dispensers and papertowels, and sinks in the restroom. I did not think it looked like a restaurant from the outside. The prices are truly surprisingly low for the quality of the food. The shish kebabs meet was tender, the rice was delicious. The lamb leg melted in your mouth. The hummus was delicious, the pita bread was fresh. I could have eaten more of the wonderful and very tasty in grape leaves, which had a little spicy. This place needs to be on your list to try. I understand it maybe a long way however, if you want, real Mediterranean Morocco food this is a place to go. It may be two hour from my house, but I'll be coming back. We met the chefs, who were very friendly, information and knowledgeable.

If you know anything about middle eastern, Turkish or Mediterranean food this place doesn't have the flavor. Had the chicken shawarma and it's made from chicken fingers, the fattoush was a bit of a joke it was iceberg lettuce (lol) and not one touch of sumac. While the food was meh I wouldn't call this Mediterranean by any stretch of the imagination. If I didn't know Mediterranean maybe it would somehow fool me. Buddy had the lamb shank and it was tender but completely bland. Sorry, won't be back.
