Community shed. Arts and crafts, bingo and movie night with popcorn! Kids camp and Sunday service.

We had one of the few pull through sites at the front of the campground. This place hit all of our buttons, pull through, pet playground, things for the teenager to do, lots of shade and quiet. There was two ramps into the water that you could walk into the water and if you were adventurous you could start at the beginning of the campground's river section and float to the ramps. Except for the harrowing drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway(not expecting tunnels with a 5th wheel) it was a lovely drive in.

A fantastic tree lined campground. Everyone of the staff is friendly and VERY helpful!! We were a last minute reservation for Thanksgiving and they had one spot, right near one of the restrooms. Not the best if you don't like people constantly walking by but we didn't mind at all.,. Great concrete pads (great size) all have fire rings and table/ chairs. There are quite a few cabins and great tent sites also... The gas stations/,store was very easily accessed for us but if you need ice or firewood they deliver it to your site for no extra charge. Great place and looking forward to spending more than 3 days in the future. Great location to do many destinations including Cades Cove, Gatlinburg, Sevierville and pigeon forge.

Stayed here with my girlfriend in one of the cozy cabins. We found the cabin to be warm, welcoming, and clean. I was impressed with how clean the bathrooms at the shower house next to the office building were. Karen was extremely helpful and helped us get checked in even though we arrived later on in the evening. Very enjoyable stay-we'll be back. Thanks!

Met Adam upon arrival, who checked us in, another employee helped us take the car we were towing off and stored the tow dolly. Another of the staff escorted us to our site, helped get us backed into our site, that was very helpful. Lots of trees kept the motorhome from getting too hot, most sites have a nice canopy of branches providing the shade. The site was a back in so I was happy to have the help, along with my wife to get in the right position because the gravel street we were on is very narrow and hard to maneuver on. Those wonderful trees provide all the shade but some are right on the street. The site was spacious enough for our family to visit, it had a concrete patio with firepit and table with 4 chairs. Full hookups plus cable TV were very nice and the free wifi was a nice addition to our stay, although it wasn't very fast. Our Verizon smartphones had 2 to 3 bars of 4G, daughter and her family couldn't use their iPhones on AT&T. We stayed June 12 thru the 20th and enjoyed the location very much, grandchildren loved the well equipped and beautiful playground. We liked that Cades Cove is only 7 miles away, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were 15 miles or so, made grocery store runs very quick and convenient. We loaded up our tow dolly and car on Saturday with a little help from the staff but accidentally left a coupler pin for the tow dolly, so they sent it back to us. Overall we enjoyed our vacation in the smokies and recommend the KOA as a great place to camp.

We had tent site 113. Everything was great. Location was perfect for the bathroom and shelter/ events that happen within the park. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Delivery of wood, ice, communication through text message, wifi was perfect. Kids loved the events, movie at night, playground. I am giving a 4 star because the pool was under construction for the holiday weekend. Kids and myself planned on swimming. We did get in the river so it worked out.

We have traveled from Maine to this KOA many many times. It's one of my favorite campgrounds in the whole country. The campground is clean. The employees are extremely helpful. I love the country store. This is on the quiet Side of the Smokies away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge, yet close enough to drive there. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for

    Cabin 7 from the river.

Great camp ground at the base of the smokies. The staff was very nice as well. I really enjoyed the cabin I stayed in on the river.

We also really enjoyed the hiking trail at the back of the campground. Our 2 interactions with camp store staff were very pleasant, and we met a lot of nice guests here too. Very quiet, clean, and well-maintained with lots of entertainment areas and community spaces available. It's so close to the national park and other off-site adventures, but you could easily have a stay-cation here and never leave! Wi-fi is included and worked great. One tip - if you plan to cook over the fire, get plenty of firewood because their fire pits are quite deep and the cooking grate height cannot be adjusted. Our kids are already asking when we can go back!

They advertise new broadband but it's on the same busted WiFi network they had I think. Not reliable at all. Buffers constantly cause the signal drops out. For the prices they charge, I expect a premium experience. WiFi is lacking, gravel sites are not level, no trash pickup svc. Store closes at 5 every day. It's the quiet side of the smokies and I really appreciate that fact but premium price dictates premium service.

Stayed at Lazy Daze campground, as we were meeting up with some family while they were on vacation…read moreand they had their RV at the campground. We stayed in the small cabins that they have at the campground. Now for what you pay to stay in the little cabin, you would be better off staying in a decent hotel for the same price. The cabins would be better suited for a Hobbit and even they would find them too small! The cabin has a VERY SMALL living room, which is also the kitchen and dining area. You have a futon, tiny table, kitchen sink, small fridge, microwave, small stove, some cabinets that have cups, pots, pans, plates and knife and forks. I do admit that the kitchen area was clean and tidy. There is also a small tv in there too. The bedroom and it is just the one bedroom, has just a double bed in it and that's it. There is a small sink in there that is to one side. the bathroom I could just get in there, has a toilet and opposite it is the shower. Honestly, I would rather have stayed in a nice hotel room, as the price we paid to stay here, we would have been much more comfortable. Although apart for being rather over priced for what you get, at least I got a good nights sleep in there. The campsite it's self is nice. The lots at the back of the campsite are the nicest, as they are right by the river. They have all the hookups you need for your RV. Also each lot has a covered table and benches for you to sit at. There is a onsite shower room, swimming pool and small game room for the kids. The lobby area does sell a few essential items that you can by, such as hygiene products and food but as the price is marked up considerably, you would still be better off driving down the road to the grocery store. This camp ground is located in a beautiful area in the Smoky Mountains and is not too far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. All in all, if you stay at this camping ground, then stay using a RV, as you will get a better experience. If you do not have a RV, then stay at a hotel or just rent a nice cabin of your own and not one of the little huts.

We stayed at Lazy Daze campground Oct 6-9. We were supposed to stay Oct 6-10. Our campsite was…read more#41. On the 7th, we noticed a wet spot at our campsite, which we did not think much of. Over the course of the next day, we noticed the wet spot would come and go and began to smell like sewage. The evening of the 8th, the spot became very bad and I notified staff. We then began to notice that our hookup from our camper to the campsite septic did not drain (and would overflow) and started to determine that there was a broken line and backup in the campground's system. The staff explained to us that it was because of many campers draining their tanks and that it was "normal" and would go away. Lazy Daze had their tank pumped on the 8th and the issue continued on the 9th at our site. We decided to leave as the site was unsafe - sewage was draining into our site - into our outside personal property - some of which we disposed of. I contacted the campground on the 12th to find a resolution. First, the campground said they would not provide a refund for the day that we did not stay. This is frustrating, as we left due to health concerns of the property. Secondly, they made a NEW reason as to why the issue occurred in the first place - rain early in the week, which did not happened - and can be proven looking at weather reports. In the end (10/16), I was able to obtain a refund for the site for one day (even though we had sewage issues our entire stay). Please keep in mind, they did not have any other sites open and nowhere else for us to relocate to - we were forced to stay in site 41. Lazy Dazes did not hold any responsibility for our damaged property. The sewage made it's way directly into the river, which is where many kids (including ours) were playing. Kids were riding bikes through the puddles of sewage, which did not have any signage of danger. On top of standard health concerns for humans, animals, and the environment, we have COVID which *SHOULD* add heightened concerned to any responsible business. In this case, I saw none.
