They brought a few toys over to the table so they could look at them while I was sitting with them. An employee complained to the manager about it, then started hovering around us, taking items from the table when the kids stepped away, and repeatedly asking where things had gone. I told him clearly that we would put everything back before we left, but the hovering continued. I completely understand employees needing to keep track of merchandise, and if the store has a policy against bringing toys to the children's table, that could have simply been explained to us once. Instead, the way it was handled made us feel watched and unwelcome. The interaction made me uncomfortable enough that I decided not to make a purchase and left instead. For a store with a dedicated children's area and kid-sized table, I expected a much more family-friendly experience.

The classes were successful, bringing customers into the store and creating a fun community event. I was excited to support another woman-owned business. I received one payment in February 2026 for approximately four weeks of lessons. After that, I continued teaching throughout March, April, and May. Despite repeated requests for payment, I was given various reasons for the delay and assured that payment was coming. I even offered to accept installment payments if that would help. Unfortunately, payment never arrived. For months, I attempted to resolve this matter privately through texts, phone calls, in-person conversations, and follow-up requests. I ultimately sent a certified demand letter, which was received, yet I am still awaiting payment for services that were provided months ago. I take responsibility for not having a more detailed written agreement in place. However, I firmly believe that when work is completed as agreed, payment should be made in a timely manner. I do not write this out of anger. I simply want to be paid for the work I performed. My hope is that Coastal Elements will honor its commitment and resolve this matter without further action.

I tried them on, they were slingbacks, they had a velcro strap instead of a buckle, and they had a heel. They were also priced at $24.99, which was a good price. I looked around the remainder of the store, and luckily for me I didn't find anything else, because I really didn't need anything else. I wound up purchasing the sandals. On this particular day, I ordered a few boxes of cereal. BTW, cereal tends to be cheaper at Target. This particular box I purchased was at least $3 cheaper than at my local grocery store. I placed my order and within 1.5 hours my order was ready for pickup. I pulled up into parking spot 1, went to the mobile app, let them know I was here, my spot number, and within 2 minutes, someone was coming out to bring me my cereal. They verified the confirmation code, and put my cereal in the trunk and I was on my way.

I picked up a few pre-made salads in the produce section. Stopped through the freezer aisle for orange sherbert to make a fruit punch. And picked up 7UP for the punch too. I also purchased eggs, butter, red wine vinegar and olive oil. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, and my bill was $31.46. I used self check out, with no wait. This store is a few years old now, but it's clean and still in good condition. The restroom was the cleanest and nicest smelling I've seen in any Walmart and is located beside the produce section. I recommend this location, especially if you don't want to walk a mile for a few items.
