I went to Daniel with a blown heads and he charged 3300 for the job a week after I noticed that it was idling the same and made my concerns known. He said my truck had a lot of miles and kept reassuring me everything was fine... I made sure that I always took my truck to only him for the Maintenance And asking him all year all along letting him know that I felt like it was the same issue and he promised me it wasn't... In January I took it to him with the light on and oil change as normal he said it was a random misfire code and to keep driving it till it gave a more better code well that went on for a while because he was trying to get me past the year date.... I told him things were happening like before he just kept treating me stupid. Then he decides my truck needs a fuel injector it didn't need and then the next day the light came back on and he said it was another one 775 dollars later the light comes back on in a week and he says I have to replace the other 4 injectors cuz they always go out intermittently and that would be another 900 and so I took out a loan to get it fixed but first went to Razzolis and the did a pressure test with video and found that coolant is leaking into cylinders 2/4 the same he put injectors on... Needless to say I called Daniel and he laughed and said how did the figure that out... Then said its my fault cuz it was 2 weeks past the warranty... I called the BAR and filed a complaint and they said because he didn't keep records of the 2 times I took my truck to him and he would clear the codes and tell me to drive till it happened or got worse.... The BAR guy said he recommended that he repay me for the fuel injectors I didn't need and the labor but because Daniel LIED and said I kept calling him and he told me to come in and I never would... LIER LIER LIER!!! I left my truck with him on 3 occasions and my daughter picked me up walking up forth street on 2 of those times and my girl Marion another... He never made paperwork and I just trusted him. As a matter of fact those are the words he used when I told him about the results from Razzolis " if you don't believe my word and trust in my work then let them fix it" yeah how can I trust you anymore when Razzolis has video of the fluid going into cylinders 2/4 witch is what the code reader gave you when you said it was just the fuel injector.! If your such a specialist why didn't you have the knowledge or the equipment to check and find the problem like Rizzolis did the first time and honor you warranty and just fix it no big deal. Instead you took ads stage of a single woman with 6 kids and lives on SSI with a terminal illness. You told me exactly how much money to pull out for a loan. You took complete advantage of me when I told you over and over u had no one other then you and you took full advantage. Now my truck is sitting in my driveway with the same issue as when I first took it to you and now I guess it's all about suing you... You are a very dishonest human being and to take advantage of a sick single woman with children on disability income and then lie and Doctor up paperwork even lying about the Milage when you got it... Beware of this shop and the owner they Lie and will treat your mother, wife, daughter, grandmother for everything they have and leave them dreaded while laughing in their faces if he knows they have no one to see what they are doing... read more

I was driving to Morro Bay from SoCal. I stopped in Arroyo Grande and my Tundra would not start. I had an ignition problem, it was on going but now it was serious. I was towed to Toyworx. The mechanics are honest, reasonable, fair, and most of all knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone. Oh, and they charged me LESS than my mechanic at home was quoting. read more

I have been taking my Sequoia to Daniel for 5 years. I have never owned a car over 100,000 miles. Daniel is super knowledgeable and super honest. My first experience was when I took it there after being at the Toyota dealer. The car only needed 1 of the 3 repairs that the dealer said. Then yesterday I took it in because it was making a little noise and he said that it was normal and to not be concerned. Been here twice now; first time was an emergency when my timing belt snapped on my 2002 Avalon; I am from Santa Maria (30 miles away) and needed a local shop for the repair (towing to Santa Maria = $325+). A friend said he had had an excellent experience with Daniel and Loren at Toyworx, so I decided to give them a shot. They did the work quickly, showed me the old (inferior) parts (pump and remnants of belt), and had me on my way. I have now taken my other car (Lexus GS350) in for maintenance service and the prices are not much higher than the quick lube and oil joints, but you have Toyota certified mechanics doing the work and checking everything (= peace of mind). They are friendly folks, honest, fair, and work quickly. I couldn't ask for more. read more
