For us, it was a stressful situation as we were traveling with a difficult toddler. They came out and got us in and diagnosed in less than an hour. They recommended a great coffee shop where we could wait, and one of the guys worked through his lunch to get us back on the road. All the guys were kind, honest, and the work was fairly price and completed in less than three hours. Highly recommend them whether you are local or passing through and a problem arises unexpectedly. All I did was bring my Chevy 454 in with less than 39000 miles on her , recent repairs that I did on my Chevy myself was new distributor spark plugs and wires new carburetor fuel pump distributor EGR gasket and service heater hoses , they put some big guy in my RV with a flashlight who spent twenty minutes in my RV whitch is ridiculous , all he had to do was a five minute visual inspection , I could here the owner asking him does it have a vacuum leak , the ass inside my rig managed to get the engine light to come on , this is where I drew the line and threw him out . I always take my car to Tom's for oil changes or any mechanic problems I may be having. They are always attentive, listen to me even though I have no idea what is going on with my car, are up front and honest about everything. They don't try to push me into doing more than the necessary stuff and I don't feel taken advantage of as a woman who knows nothing about car problems. These guys have so much business that they obviously didn't need mine. Good for them. I took a day off and dropped off my car at 9:30. At 11 am, my car hadn't moved from where I parked it, so I let them know that, indeed, I would like to know what services my car needed. I was assured that "you're car is next in the list." 30 minutes later, nothing. I got my key back, took it across near the Village (German Autoworks place on Traffic Way), and got my car back within an hour, with nothing wrong with it, and they lubed it up and such...no charge. Not true and honest took my 2004 Toyota Matrix X-r for a diagnostic wouldn't start they said it was the starter so they did the work ... Few months later car did the same I took my time to look into it and figured out the clip in plug to the starter was broken and with vibration it comes loose and disconnected from its place on the stater ...What a diagnostic they never told me it was broken and it comes loose easily but they did charge me for a diagnostic!!!!!Not honest people so u can take the car back to them so I believe in karma they'll get there's lol first an last time they get my $$$ read more
