I worked with the agency back in 2020. It was ran by a man named Yossi. He was easy to reach but never cared about how the facility treated you. Management was terrible and incredibly racist. I don't know when management changed but they did a great overhaul. My license expired. My previous agency refused to renew it. Lawerence Lee went to talk to my previous agency for me. They ignored me for weeks. Lawerence did a great job handling them. Jimmy Cho was my recruiter. He checks in with me every week or every other week. Always asks if I'm okay. If I'm being treated well. Everyone in the agency is extremely responsive. The team is great. I highly recommend working with them. Their pay rates are good. It varies based on location though. I would not recommend This agency I was trying to work with jolivares who I was only able to get on the phone one time. I would call his cell leave messages he would never answer and when I would call the office he would never accept my calls, and tell the front desk that I needed to send him proff of my bachelors and proff of my vaccine and I sent that in 3 or 4 times and every time I would call he would say the same thing. I even left a message twice to speak with the supervisor and never received a call back. Can you say "Bait and Switch"? I sure can... I have tried to work with this agency for the last few months. Fast talking,false promises,misleading information then non response and lies when confronted, countered with excuses. This is a classic "boiler room" enterprise where the reps move so fast,they have no clue as to what's actually going on with placements. Don't work for this company. They are very quick to "let go" of you if the job site boss makes a complaint. They will not have your back. Overall this company is a mess from upper management to lower. Even the person who does the scheduling is in way over her head and you can never reach her. Stay away from this bush-league shady agency. They pulled a bait and switch on me. I was conned into accepting a "Medical/Data Entry" job but after orientation at the worksite was promptly transferred to a different supervisor that had me lifting boxes and assembling folders. After I resigned they went radio silent as if they knew they had done something wrong. They also didn't pay me until I notified them that I hadn't received my paycheck. I should have known something was wrong the first time the recruiter emailed me in broken English and constantly rushed and reminded me to do things as if I never worked before. read more

ProMed is awful. Here's why: 1) We agreed to an hourly rate, however after starting work and receiving my first paycheck I found that they reduced my rate. 2) When I inquired about the pay reduction, ProMed made no attempts to apologize for the miscommunication or inconvenience. Furthermore, they did not readjust my pay, claiming that I would "likely get a raise in a few months" (which hasn't happened yet, after 6 months) 3) They rarely - if ever - return phone calls 4) If they do call you, they usually have an attitude 5) If they do call you, they might claim that you haven't called them back 6) They've misplaced copies of my Social Security Card & Drivers License - twice - delaying my paycheck because of their error, and then eventually accused me of failing to provide sufficient information *I have worked with temp agencies in the past, and in my experience staffing agencies generally want to help the customer. ProMed is not one of those agencies. They are not helpful/friendly/professional at all. *I only do business with ProMed because our hospital is on a hiring freeze and temp work is the only current option (the hospital has a 'relationship' with ProMed so all temps go through them apparently). Due to traffic I was five minutes late, then had lots of trouble finding the agency. When I found it, it was behind an unmarked, locked door (the only entrance) with no buzzer. I knocked on the door there was no answer, it was complete coincidence that someone opened the door to leave. I walked in there was no sign or front desk. I walked through the whole room and finally someone spoke to me, then promptly told me I was late for the interview and had to reschedule through promed. I instantly texted Taryn, who replied and called me by the wrong name. After a few messages I offered times available to reschedule the interview, and Taryn abruptly stopped replying. During that day and the following days, I repeatedly reached out to Taryn through phone and email and was ignored completely. Huge waste of time and resources. Would not recommend. read more

I had the displeasure of "interviewing" with Melissa in the Westbury branch. The environment was unprofessional. Melissa made it a point to correct the receptionist regarding her work in front of everyone waiting to be "interviewed", I should have run then. There are no offices, just low walled cubical, this women was as soft spoken as a sledgehammer! So I heard all the interviews that were conducted before mine, how tacky. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and followed up today, why? All she remembered was I had the French name, and then asked if I spoke Spanish and if I would travel to Suffolk County. Yes, I have the French name, as I said previously I do not speak Spanish and again I can only work locally. But this uncomfortable verbal exchanged would have been eased if she just simply pulled up my information. I didn't expect "her" to remember anything. I kept getting several calls telling me call back it is very important I have a position for you. I returned calls several times like I need a job and money. The recruiter calls me like I had the job. I go in an the lady who I am suppose to see picks up my papers and tell the Receptionist I will have he see Blah Blah. I am suppose to be next. So, Blah Blah comes and sees me tell me about the position and where it is at and that they pay $17 an hour. I see on her screen it says $25 and is in a Hospital. The job is Temp to Perm. She tells me I am going to get u an interview for Friday Morning. I will call you with the time. She then tells me what to say at the interview and how to carry myself on the job to become Permanent. The lady who I was to see was sitting behind us and Blah Blah kept asking her if she wants to meet me. I have still to this day not even been on an assignment. She calls me and I miss her call but no message! These agencies seem like they are for the people getting jobs but it is more for the commission. read more
