I have gone to Jessica for several years. I love how she listens to what I want and always delivers. This review has nothing to do with her profesionalism and expertis. This is the first time in three years I have not received a confirmation of appointment notice a few days before my appointment. Because of uncertainty on my appointment dates, I called and left a message as well as left a text message on Monday morning. Fifteen minutes after my text message, I received a confirmation from Trace. That was 23 hours before my appointment on Tuesday. Your confirmation says we will be charged 100% for an appointment we miss. So if you notify me less than 24 hrs before my appointment, shouldn't you pay for my cut & color? By the way, while there, I was told I did receive a prior confirmatiom. That is a bold face lie and I resent it. Is it not possible whoever made the mistake of not sending me a confirmation decided to make some kind of a checkmark to cover their mistake? I think so. Not happy. read more

Jordan has been cutting my hair for several years. She is great! I get lowlights and a few highlights. My hair always looks natural, not colored. She does such a great job that my hair grows out fabulous. Cara has been doing my daughters hair and she is wonderful! She listens to what my daughter wants and does an excellent job. I have been getting my haircut by the same gal my entire life. I moved to Nashville 2 years ago and would just get my hair cut whenever I would go back home to LA...but those trips are too far apart and my hair started getting out of control. I made an appointment with Cherith at Lunatic Fringe and had a great experience! She is super sweet and gave me really good styling and product tips. She also didn't let me leave without making sure that my cut was perfect, and told me to come back if there were any areas I was unhappy with and she'd fix them, no charge. Fortunately she did a great job, so there was no need! The receptionist was also very nice, and they offered me french press coffee which was an added plus since I had an early appointment on a Saturday! Thanks Cherith & the Lunatic Fringe staff! Wow - finally. Hip, on-trend work from highly skilled, educated, creative artists with out of this world customer service. I found Lunatic Fringe because they carry Kerastase products, which I had just experienced while traveling. I walked in on a busy Thursday afternoon and met the manager Chelsea, who took way more time than I expected to get to know me and my hair concerns. She educated me on products and made recommendations. Since we had similar hair texture and Chelsea was sporting a perfectly imperfect curly fringe, I asked who she recommended to tame what had become a problematic 'do on my head. She gave me two names and after going home and checking bios on the site, I knew Amanda would be perfect for my hair, style and lifestyle. I called on Saturday morning for a bang trim only, thinking I would have to beg to get a "first" appointment with such a talented stylist, but the receptionist spoke to Amanda who offered to take me after her last client that day. What? A "day of" appointment and a stylist willing to stay late for a new client? I was totally feeling this salon. I showed up for my appointment and was greeted by the super friendly and caring Sarah, who offered me a beverage while I waited. The wait was short - like two minutes and the groovy Amanda came out to greet me. I was immediately confident and after a consultation let her snip away. Amanda solved my bang problem in about 5 minutes and actually ended up making the whole haircut make sense for the first time since I added bangs a year ago. Best my hair has looked in years! Amanda also spent time answering my five million questions about product. But, here's the kicker... after spending more time with the darling Sarah, who even called the other salon location to find out if they had travel sizes of the specific products I was interested in ... I settled on two full sizes of styling product. When my total came, it was for the product only. I asked, "What about the bang trim?" Sarah replied, "It's complementary." I said, "What? I'm a new client. I've never even gotten a haircut from Amanda." "We know. Bang trims are complimentary." Like I said, wow. Obviously, I left Amanda a tip. Sarah also provided me with samples of other Kerastase products to try with my new bangs and products I purchased. This is a big deal with a product line like Kerastase, which is of the highest quality and therefore, carry a price point to match. This salon really knows the way to my heart. As a licensed professional, I was so impressed with this whole process and most importantly, the down to earth friendliness of every person I have met so far. Regrettably, so often... fancy and "cool" salons that have stylists and staff of this caliber have an "attitude" that can turn a visit sour. Not at Lunatic Fringe. You get the best of the best - and sincerity. Needless to say, after this stellar experience - I am a Lunatic Fringe convert. Can't wait to go back for some color and a full haircut! read more

Lunatic fringe is the best place to get your hair done in Nashville! They use really great products like Kerastase, Bumble and Bumble etc... every employee is super kind!
