For our engagement shoot, they were accommodating with time and recommended some beautiful locations including some hidden gems in D.C. The photos that came back were beautiful and had a mix of casual fun photos and more formal photos, candid photos and posed photos. This team is truly talented as we had difficulty determining which photos to use for Save the Dates and the website since each photo captured a moment that we are glad to have preserved. Despite having several other weddings to shoot (they are in high demand), Hannah and Stuart repeatedly found time for us and constantly offered advice on photos to shoot, timeline, and colors and decorations. They became more than just photographers during this process, they became confidantes, trusted advisers, and friends! For the day of the wedding, Stuart performed tasks that my own groomsmen could not perform - helping me with my bow tie, bringing a lint roller to get the dog hair off of my tux, and ensuring that I did not look like the sloppiest groom in history. Before I even showed up for the shoot I made sure that I expressed my anxiety via email about actually being in front of the camera for once. Marly's response was quick and totally put me at ease about any physical insecurities I was afraid would show up in High-Definition in front of the camera. She also gave me advice about what I should wear (makeup, wardrobe, and accessories) that would look good in front of the camera. I felt better going in but still very nervous. When I got there Marly was very patient with me as I had felt my face would do this weird nervous twitch as soon as the camera came out. Marly suggested we play some of my favorite songs I had downloaded on my phone which really helped me relax. Her encouraging words throughout the shoot helped me with my awkwardness :-) The equipment she used was quite impressive and she certainly knew how to use it. Failed to follow through on contract for my Wedding day…read more Robyn took minimal photos of bridal party as well as the Bride and Groom. She was contracted to provide 400-600 hi-res files within 4 weeks of event. I received less than 400 files 5 plus weeks after wedding date. The photos appeared to look as they were not edited. Secondly, Robyn was hired for 6.5 hours and she left the event approximately 4 hours into the event. When we reached out to express our disappointment and the fact that she fell short on providing services outlined in her contract she suggested we meet for a photo shoot. Her suggestion was worthless to us as we wanted her services for our wedding date not a random date. Icing on the cake... we have a special needs grandchild which she was not considerate of when taking photos that included him. She came close to grabbing him (but did raise her voice to him) which almost prompted a reaction from my daughter. I DO NOT suggest or recommend using Robyn as she does not hold to her contract and expects the client to remind her of what she has included in her contract. Then basically wants you to get over it.
