It cost $39.50 on January 16, 2018; which is $10.00 cheaper(!) than Russell Feed. They also have farm-raised chicken eggs during the laying season as well as all the typical feed store items, including pet supplies(food, collars, leashes, etc.). They are on North Main Street(Hwy 51) in Weatherford, Texas. And, no, I don't work there or have any financial interest in the place. It's just a great feed store.

I asked if they could please provide me with the WiFi so I could decide which food was best and the lady responded that WiFi isn't for customers and that I could use the phone at the store to call him. My vet is a busy man and I didn't want to disturb him with a call and wanted to make it an easy text especially since it is Sunday. I ended up having to set my other items down several times to step outside to get service. Not good customer service. I intended to be in and out in 5 minutes. But ended up having to stay way longer to get the messages thru and get my stuff. Next time I'll stick to Fort Worth location. No one is trying to steal your internet guys. Literally I want to be in and out as badly as you want me to be on my way..... craziness. No wonder this is a 2 star location. Sounds like Everyone is having the same experience.

The best we can do now is notify everyone else that looks up this establishment on yelp that their training program needs major improvement if hey're going to let high school kids run the show. I'm all about kids working but arm them with good training. Train them to for warn customers when a product is nonreturnable. Don't just depend on the customer to see a random note on a wall alongside a bunch of other papers and advertisements. I purchased an alfalfa hay bale and discovered a dead bird inside it. Instead of expressing concern about the product's quality, they reprimanded me when I reported the issue, insisting that the alfalfa was fine and showing little care for the potential risk it posed to my horses. They requested that I bring the bale back but would not issue a refund, even after I provided photographs. Additionally, I overheard one of the women speaking poorly about me to my manager as she walked away. The customer service from those two women left much to be desired and they were nasty, and I believe Russell's should reevaluate their hiring choices. I've been coming here for months and can't believe was treated that way.On a positive note, I want to commend the two gentlemen I encountered. They were genuinely apologetic and demonstrated good customer service despite the unpleasant behavior of the women and got me my refund.

More specialized than the chain stores that usually carry a broad based product selection, these stores are geared more for the local market, not the mass market. They do sale chickens and ducks in season, feed, veterinarian items including the meds and vaccinations, lots of pet supplies, horse tack, cattle items, etc. We went for a specific mouse bait that is very hard to find, chain stores won't carry it anymore. This location had it, and for way less than we could find online or in other coops. Staff was very helpful, young lady's were friendly and social. Store was clean and well kept. We did check the dog and cat foods that we normally purchase, Blue Buffalo brand, they carry it, tho it's a bit more expensive than the box chain stores. Definitely a place to stop for more specialized items.
