Many of the habitats were lacking even the most basic supplies. For instance, the sweet little geckos had no heat lamps or humidifiers. I have 4 birds, and I know firsthand how messy they can be. The birds in this shop had water bowls that probably had not been changed in at least a week. There were days and days worth of debris that had accumulated. Signs prohibiting pictures are posted throughout the store which makes it seem like they are trying to hide something. Sad for the animals.

I took him to the Vet on Feb 11th and tried to get it fixed. By the 28th, his condition had deteriorated so much that I had to say goodbye and let him go. I went back to thank them for helping me care for him. Part of his problem was a serious food allergy --so I had purchased all kinds of different foods hoping to improve his eating. They allowed me to return the unopened items (I am part of the "club" and they could read my receipt.) Everyone was very caring and offered condolences... I was very appreciative of all they did to go above and beyond with my dear L'il Guy. We also have cats and I will continue to shop here. I have been coming here for 5 years, to span two different dogs and many different dog and cat friends. While a little pricier than other options in the area, this pet store is stocked with items that are well vetted and understood by the owners and employees personally. Every employee can provide genuine input and assistance into any pet related needs whether it's food, treats, harnesses or clothing, toys, etc. There are many familiar faces that have stayed working here over the years, which is always a plus. I also love what they do for the community, helping police dogs and sponsoring little events, such as around the holidays where they give free treats and coupons or other items. Follow their social media to stay up to date! There is a bath you can use (I haven't used it yet but have almost needed to so many times) where they provide all the materials and do the clean up. It's on a first come first serve basis, but you can always call to gauge how busy it is. Student discounts offered only on certain days. Not best budget for broke students but the assurance I have with the quality of the items (esp food) I'm buying for my dog is worth it.

I'm not one to talk negatively about anyone but serious work needs to be done here when it comes to the care of her animals. She's what we call a "flipper" in the reptile hobby. Someone who trades out animals and buys from just about anywhere to make a profit. Not a safe place to buy a pet from. It's run out of the basement of her home and the animals are kept in deplorable conditions. Bearded dragons in bird/rodent cages, animals with no uvb or basking bulbs. Please save your money and buy from a legitimate store or breeder!
