It's a very colorful and modernized version of the supercenter in our area, and while hunting for rotisserie chicken [sold out], we noticed that the deli offered general tso chicken, so we ordered some [VERY expensive at $9.46 for 16 TINY various sized pieces BUT mostly smaller than a 6yr old's palm]. I do NOT recommend this at all since it was sticky [that's okay], no orange flavor and the meat was hard and dried and NOT VERY favor nor tasty. We wished we could return it but....... The store now has a more modern look to it. There are always big sales here. Can get groceries here and household products. The furniture section is pretty big. Not top of the line but it looks newer and isn't that expensive. There is a lot of interior decor and outside decor. In the fall/winter they have a lot of Christmas stuff in here. The staff is friendly. I use the rewards card to get coupons and deals. Some days you get % off you're total bill. Just have to watch your emails.

As it happens, they sell almost everything else…read more This is the Walmart for Lockport and they recently redesigned it and turned it into a huge extensive Walmart Supercenter - now it seems like everyone in Lockport and anywhere near Lockport drive here to use it. So yes - Gets a little clustered and busy at times, but it's still a good location to pick up a little bit of everything you need. I can't stand Walmart but I still shop here (and especially the Transit Williamsville location) more than I want to, so I can't give out the lowest rating, but I'm extremely critical of their business practices and politics and how they operate.

Walking in, it was confirmed--this place is HUGE. I was with my husband and kiddos, so couldn't troll endlessly as I would have preferred, but I can tell you this: ** I was hoping to find some more gel pens or markers for our coloring supplies (my daughter and I started working on adult coloring books together). No such luck with finding any new pens, but I did find BINGO DAUBERS!!! Bingo players will concur that those are really hard to find anywhere but online or at the halls themselves these days. So that was a HUGE SCORE!!! Grabbed a new orange, purple, and green!!! ** I've needed some potting soil for some plants I want to re-pot and bring into my office, and out of the corner of my eye, I found a small bag here. I've never seen gardening supplies beyond decorative items at a Dollar Tree before. That was a nice find, and for a buck! ** The grocery selection here is much larger than any I've ever seen at a Dollar Tree, and I didn't even make it through the whole store. There is a sweets aisle with every Hostess treat you could want, all for a buck! It's diet time for me, so I didn't get any, but I will bookmark that handy bit of info for when I loosen the belt again, after summer. ** In addition to Hostess, they had these EPIC looking pound cake and coffee cake slices, and strawberry cheesecake muffins that looked RAD. I should have taken photos. They are the kind of things that would run two bucks or more in a gas station, but here were just a dollar, of course, and looked pretty tasty! ** If you do the sports sticker books, they have a good supply of stickers, which can be really hard to find. My husband does that basketball book with our son. It's nice to find a supply of stickers that aren't completely sold out. I will definitely pop back into this store when I'm in the area again. It it pretty good shape as far as dollar stores go, fairly tidy and well organized. Lots more to explore, and of course, you cannot beat the prices. ;-)

Family Secrets... I…read morecant say enough about Family Dollar! Did you know things in there cost more than a dollar? Its like the Dollar General's uncle nobody talks about. It smells a bit and is kinda dirty, and being there any length of time makes you feel creepy. If your looking to buy a lamp for someone you don't like, this is the place! And food! They have candy from countries I never heard of. I always buy my Secret Santa presents there. And Gramma's unmentionables. Family Dollar! Ummmm...

There was laundry soap spilled all over the floor and shelves and I let an associate know. Went back a week and a half later and it was still there. I once again mentioned it to an associate, which turned out to be one of the managers. Two weeks later, and yep, the half empty, opened bottle of Purex remains on the shelf, the same shelf covered in blue, dried up, flaking and hardened Purex, and some residue remains on the floor. Utterly disgusting place managed by either complacent and/or ignorant burned out folks!
