This was our first trip into a Tractor supply Store, as we are new residents of Murphy. When you walk in you are greeted and she smiled, this doesn't happen from where we came from. I turned to my husband and said, "ahh it smells like a farm in here". We do not have our farm animals until the spring but, found our 4 dogs their chow and a big comfy dog bed. Will be going back later for a second one! They have a well stocked dog section. Prices were very reasonable. First time customer who will definitely be back! read more

I love Tractor Supply it makes me feel like a farmer every time I need to go there. I just wish I had a Tractor I could drive there and my dreams of Old MacDonald would be complete! No really this place is great and I don't know how they did it but the staff is always super nice. They even apologized when I had gone past my 30 day return window! Who does that? I could tell she really meant it too! I've always been able to browse for stuff also without being pestered like other stores do sometimes. But when ever I have a question the staff is quick to respond. I guess thats because of the straight shooting farmers always shopping there don't want to be bothered? I love the bolt selection there and the prices are the best - BY THE POUND! Go any other hardware store and you're paying BY THE BOLT! I hate trying to remember how much each washer, bolt, nut. lock washer, wingnut, etc, etc... thing is and then write on there stupid plastic bags... and who brings a dang pen with them to a hard wear store!? Ok well maybe I just never do. But anyway BY THE POUND is Awesome! They can also order just about any farm supply/tool/feed/part you are looking for. My husband and I really needed a good amount of yard/dog stuff for our newly fenced back yard. The total order would have been over $400. They did not have everything is stock, so we spent half that. I asked if I could order the pieces as we do really need them and I had cash in hand. The employee with the sparkly mask and colorful dyed hair told me they couldn't and to go online. Disappointing, but not a problem, had she not been so incredibly dismissive and rude. My asking for help really bothered her. I decided to go wait in the car. The same teller turned my husband away from the register she was standing behind. Murphy Building Supply, Willson's, Wayne's, drive to the TS in Blue Ridge if you need to, but I would avoid this location. read more

What a great store. I buy all my pet food here. They also give discounts when your purchases reach a certain point. Just need to sign up. Today we brought our Basset for a bath. They have a room to shower bathe your dog. Shampoo, towels and dryer all supplies at an unbelievable price. And the staff are great people. Masks and hand disenfectant are also supplied. read more

Worst service anywhere. Ordered a water tank and was told it would take a month to get it. Called back a week later and they couldn't find any order for it. Reordered and was told another 4 weeks to get it. Bought it on line and got it cheaper and delivered in a few days. Wouldn't buy a rake from these people. read more
