I especially loved the nature themed earrings made from cereal box paper board from Jabebo Studio. They also had magic t-shirts that were black and white but when exposed to the sun turned into color. They had a number of interesting Florida themed books on the topics of history and nature including what just might be Florida's favorite book, A Land Remembered which covers 114 years of Florida history. Most importantly they sell sunscreen, bug repellent, and water if you plan on hiking any of the trails at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center. Water was only $1 so make sure you stay hydrated. The owner Bonnie was very friendly and she explained to me how the pricing works. Clothing is priced based on how long it is in the shop. A Patricia Nash purse I liked was priced at $129 but if it is still here in December it will sell for $90. If you can't make it to the store in person the Designer Consignor Consignment has an Instagram account you can follow that features some of their best items including that turquoise leather purse. Another adorable bag that caught my eye was beaded to look like a watermelon making it the perfect summer picnic outfit accessory. There is a dressing room area in the back of the store so you can try on clothes. They also sell shoes and other accessories. You can bring in your gentle used and mint designer items to sell for a split of the profits.
